26, Steubenville, OHMy name is Alexander, originally from Iowa, I graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Philosophy. After graduation, I spent a year living at the Houston Catholic Worker, performing works of mercy with the immigrant community in that city. I am currently studying for a master's degree at Franciscan University of Steubenville. My faith is tremendously important to who I am and to my direction in life. I try to live a life that follows the examples of the Saints and great Christians who have gone before me, especially St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Thomas More, St. Polycarp, St. Alexander the charcoal burner, Servant of God Dorothy Day, Peter Maurin, G.K. Chesterton, and J.R.R. Tolkien.
30, Steubenville, OHHello, my name is Dan, and I am just a man looking to fall in love with the Lord more each day. I enjoy to sing along with the radio (out of tune), clap along with the song in the concert (off beat), and dance at the wedding (completely out of sync)! Despite all of this, I truly believe the greatest fulfillment in life comes from good, holy friendships and relationships which lead us ever closer and closer to God. May our Blessed Mother pray for you and God be with you.
30, Steubenville, OHHey hey!... I'm a fun loving guy, romantic at heart, yet know when to take things seriously. I dance, work as a nurse, manage properties, volunteer with youth, etc. My ideal meet up is a cup of coffee/tea followed by a walk. After that, I'm up for whatever: road trip, hiking, running, dancing I'm very laid back and hopeful for whatever God wants. Looking forward to meeting you :)
33, Sardis, OHLet's see...I'm a man of few words, but I would say I'm pretty down-to-earth. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, sports, coaching, and living life. When I am able, I like to golf, fish and work out. Relationships are important to me. I come from a fairly close-knit family with solid parents and three siblings, me being in the middle. The Lord is very important to me and is my rock. I am looking for someone who does their best to live their Catholic faith, is genuine, and likes to live life to the fullest.
26, Steubenville, OHI don't really know how to answer this, in all honesty. If I had to describe myself, I'd say that I am a cheerful and optimistic person with a dry sense of humor. I love people but am probably more introverted...it just depends. I am currently a graduate student in theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville and it has been quite an experience!
28, Bloomingdale, OHWelcome! I am currently in transition from Wisconsin to Ohio, and will be splitting some time between the Columbus and Steubenville areas. After lots of prayer and discernment, I have recently resigned from my engineering job to relocate closer to family, rest up, and pursue music, art, and other interests on a more serious level. Somewhere along the way, I hope to design and build another sailboat.
24, Crown City, OHHello, first of all I want you to know I'm a sinner. I have a savior and my goal in life is to live everyday in and for Him. Anyone who tries to come between us will be cut off. Jesus is my true friend and by hearing how he lived and died for me, I cannot justify living my life for myself. That being said I am currently not what God wants me to be. I'm selfish, immature and I have to do all I can to receive grace because of my shortcomings. The sacraments are my life support I would hate to think of where I'd be without them. My faith used to be on the periphery, but things in my life have moved it to the center. My goal is to make everyone know how real Jesus is and to let them know the love of The Father and the life The Holy Spirit gives. Apologetics is my passion. My dream job would be to start an apostolate or radio station and spread God's word. The world has enough dead Catholics. I know I was one of them. But my life has been changed by the grace given to me. And I am eternally grateful. I have had a relatively normal life. I have done things I'm not proud of and things that I am too proud of. My ego is a very confusing thing and my struggle with the inner man has been difficult. But my goal is conformity with Christ. I want to spend eternity worshipping God in a way I can only imagine now. The beauty and power of God is veiled to us now, but I fear if we could really see what's going on at mass or any of the sacraments we'd die for joy. I enjoy people who love others and my deepest sadness is when I see people with no regard for others. My ultimate regret is that I have been that person and I am now striving for the Holiness that I need to see God with his grace I know it is possible and his grace is perfected in weakness so I know he wants to demonstrate his power in my life. God bless you and thank you for reading.
24, Cutler, OHHi my name is Jake. I look forward to peaceful evening after a good day of work. I look forward to challenges in my day to day because they are opportunities to grow and become a better person. this doesn't mean that I'm always persevering and conquering but I'd much rather be struggling to be better than to not try. Specifically what I'm talking about is relationships with ppl at work. I work construction with 3 other guys who've been doing it for 20 plus years, so I am trying to catch up with them as quick as I can to be a blessing for them and in return I have a much better day. God has taught me a lot about humility and being a servant, blessing those who curse you though I might not be cursed I will often times be a burden to my coworkers and when that happens I have to understand that the best thing I can do is try and bless that person, which is hard to do but when i do it good things always result from it.... So lately that's been my life is work and after that I normally go lift with one of my former players I coached in football and we try and exhaust ourselves and give each other everything we have which i think is such an awesome parallel to the gospel. Even though we're not doing Huge things for Christ by working out and giving our all for each other it's still gratifying to do it with Christ in mind. We work really hard and I love it. One of the things we try to avoid is being vain in our workouts, so how we combat that is by working so hard that we don't have time to look at ourselves in the mirror and it's really awesome. It's so rewarding at the end of it. We also try to pray and read scripture before workouts which might sound kind of crazy but life is pretty crazy and praying and reading really helps and I feel like that's what God wants us to be consumed with..... I love just having leisure time. I'm not saying that I'm always busy but I really like when I put in a full week and give an honest effort and then leisure time just feels that much better :) anything is fun honestly, watching movies is ten times better after a tough week, sitting on the porch and just listening to the birds and spring peepers if I'm out at my dads ( he lives out in the country) I mean I think with my significant other I would much rather do something outside together. Or anything with friends :)
31, Steubenville, OHJust a normal guy. Like to exercise, fish, watch sports, read books and pray. Glad I am Catholic, it is a crazy world out there and my faith is like a compass for me. I'm tired of meeting "material girls" and want to have a genuine relationship with a deep thinker. Of course attraction is important, but that is different for each of us. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But mostly I want a meeting of the minds and stimulating conversation. That's what will last 60 years in a marriage anyway.
25, Steubenville, OHHey there! If you are reading that means that you're at least mildly interested in me , which is in a step in the right direction haha. These things are always a little tricky to fill out... I have to find a way to tell you about myself without coming off self-absorbed or arrogant, so wish me luck! I am currently a student at Franciscan University studying psychology, I plan on working for the VA counseling veterans with PTSD. Both my father and step-father were soldiers and my heart goes out to that community. I still have a year and some change to get my bachelors, I have taken the scenic route in life since high school. I dropped out my freshmen year to pursue a vocation in the priesthood, discerned out a year after that after which I took a few years to do some soul searching. As far as hobbies go, I love to read, watch a good movie but my all time favorite pastime is enjoying a conversation with good friends. I am the oldest of 5 with a brother and 3 sisters, all which of I adore more than words can express. Family means the world to me and I couldn't imagine my life without a single one of them :) Don't know what else to tell you haha if you have questions or want to know more don't hesitate to message me. Ilook forward to talking with you :)
