I am a man who loves Jesus and His Church. My faith is integral to my life. I converted to the Catholic Church in 2002, and if you only read this far know that the Catholic faith is an amazing treasure, embrace it! I have a number of interests. I like hiking and kayaking, going to the movies and the theater, to read and play card games. I love spending time with people and good conversations. I love travel, photography (I photograph weddings as a side job) and the culinary arts. I enjoy learning about life and experiencing other people and their culture. I've been pretty fortunate to have traveled as much as I have, I still can't believe the places I've been. For instance, by dumb luck I ended up (The photo of me, in the header image) at the Augustiner Beer Garden in Munich, Germany on the day that Germany beat Argentina in the Quarterfinals of the 2006 World Cup. Looking back, my life has been quite adventurous so far and I'm grateful for each day God gives me and every adventure He takes me on. However, I've come to realize the value of day-to-day life (probably the bigger adventure in some respects). Someday I hope to learn how to fly a plane, climb a mountain, run a marathon and scuba dive, but I also hope, even more so, that someday I will have a family to go to Mass with, to pray the rosary with, to eat dinner with, to laugh and cry with.

I am looking for someone who is ready to be in a relationship. I like to go to new restaurants and I love to try new food or different ethnicities food. I am very passionate about food and food sustainability. I cannot draw or play a musical instrument but I can cook and I love trying new seasoning and spice combinations. I love to cook for family and friends. I have a very sweet 4 year old yellow lab that thinks everybody who comes to my house is there to see him. I enjoy being with my friends and family and I love to watch movies or sit on my porch and talk. I am currently living in Steubenville and I currently sell food and supplies to restauraunts. I really enjoy what I do and I have a career path. I am very goal oriented in my career and personal life. I try to improve everyday in everything that I do. I am not a perfect Catholic and I struggle just like a lot of people but I try each and everyday to become better.

How does one sum their own selves up in words?? color blue...and the navy.....there that's 3 words...ha!!.. :o) .... seriously though, we are perhaps the worst judges of our own we are somewhat biased....i'm like everyone else...i like to smile, play, be a kid, talk (too much probably :o) , eat, sleep, ponder, wonder, wish, and pray...... for more cookies that is :o)........... philosophical ....old-fashioned...romantic....i'm scatter-brained.. empathetic...caring...i worry about other people being hurt..... ......often i can be too serious......and it can take me a while to get comfortable with people (during which time i am "cool cucumber"..charming and the such ) ..but when i get excited (and comfortable) ..i turn into a goofy 5 year old :o)...and then watch out!!..i talk a easily...eccentric..etc...... ..i am honorable (i've been told)...honest (i've been told)....principled (so i'd like to think) (always in the eye of the beholder).... I was an electronics engineer... but i did not like that (not a lot of human interaction) now i moved and go to Steubenville (Franciscan University) while i make efforts to do nursing locally.... pray for success :o) I don't watch tv (i do sometimes netflix stuff on my computer....and if i am somewhere...where TV is's culture is very mindset is more 200 years ago (but with smartphones and showers :o) .....had a rough always afraid of getting hurt and stuff .... hopefully i'm not too boring...(i like history, news, sci-fi...churchy stuff)... and i use a lot of "....." in place all all grammar / punctuation and i normalllllly go to sunday / holy day masses with some weekdays....but I am in Steubie now I go almost that counts... :o)

I'm an okay guy I guess. Most people find me easy going and relaxed - may be a bit to relaxed! I dont get much involved with other people telling them what to do and dont wan anyother telling me wha t to do.

I am very easy going and thought that I would give this a try for fun. I enjoy going to the gym, running, bowling, and spending time with my family. Also, I like to just hang out and watch a movie, football, play games, cards, or go for a cup of coffee at SB. My favorite TV shows are Home Improvement, College Football on Saturday, Monday Night Football and Racing. I love pizza, but also enjoy eating finer foods. I enjoy going to the movies, listening to music and just about anything else that gets me out of the house. Also I enjoy working around the house building thing with my hands. I have been read several books about my faith and on loving relationships.

I have too many interests to list, but I'll give it a try! Driving back roads, studying history, reading maps (it's a healthy and quirky obsession I assure you), playing music, and socializing with friends are just a few ways I like to spend my time. I always enjoy meeting new people and trying new things. When I find some free time, you might find me exploring historical sites, perusing an antique shop, or playing piano. I love an adventure, but I also enjoy my opportunities to relax, so it's always a balance somewhere in between. I know there's so much more I could expound upon, but if that sounds of interest to you, feel free to message me :)

Just a normal guy. Like to exercise, fish, watch sports, read books and pray. Glad I am Catholic, it is a crazy world out there and my faith is like a compass for me. I'm tired of meeting "material girls" and want to have a genuine relationship with a deep thinker. Of course attraction is important, but that is different for each of us. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But mostly I want a meeting of the minds and stimulating conversation. That's what will last 60 years in a marriage anyway.

2nd year grad philosophy student, hoping to begin doctoral studies next year. My friends tell me I'm patient, kind, perceptive and strong - with a bit of goofiness in there too. I'm also very creative, ambitious and fun-loving. Relationships (especially my relationship with God) are pretty much my favorite 'thing' about life, and I hold the people who are important to me very close. I have taken the step to sign up for CatholicMatch without any expectations - I'm just here to be open to whatever God wants. Thanks for reading, and God bless you.

'Sup. I'm a convert to the Catholic Church, primarily because of the Eucharist. Earlier this year, I've been a Catholic for four years. Earlier, I was various kinds of Protestant--aside from a brief, bad, period, I've been Christian all my life. I can't imagine not being Catholic--it's just such a part of me, beyond a concept of "identity" and more into what it means to be a human being in love with the Most High God. I'm a science fiction and fantasy writer and hope to one day make my living off of it. I don't just want to write--I write for one to three hours every weekday, have self-published several titles, have actively written for about nine to ten years, and I have gone as far as to form my own legal entity for my publishing business. In my spare time, I tend to pace about the house and contemplate all manner of things. I'm active in a certain open source community, and aside from that, I volunteer to help out with technical problems in my community and with my family. I'd love to play games, and I'd love more to play board games more often.
