I love the Lord, go to mass every Sunday that I can. I know where all my blessings come from and very thankful for all I have and what I don't have. If you smoke don't bother and no picture, no response. I don't need anyone or anything to make me happy because love and happiness come from within, they can only add to it. I fear the Lord very much because in these times we think all should be easy to do, free to get away with and expect God to just forgive. I pray every day for forgiveness of all the little things I do or don't do. I'm passionate, forgiving, sensative, caring, I'm easy going, laid back, just a regular hey joe, I like skiing, hunting and enjoy the freedom on my ATV out on the back 40 somewhere, fishing, dancing, camping, sports, the beach, traveling and looking forward to retirement and living in Ohio. I did live in California but have moved back to Ohio a year or so ago. I've been divorced for over 12 years. I'm somewhat of a romantic when it comes to a good movie and very capable of feeling what an actor is trying to portray in the movie. I would love to hold hands with the love of my life, long walks, going to church together, my arm around her and a loving kiss at mass to show her and the world my love for her, cuddle up next to a warm fire and watching a good movie. Going on little trips to just check out different places and not getting stale with life.

I lost my wife a year and a half ago to cancer, she was also my best friend and worked with me in business, I have missed her very much. My employment has always been related to food service and management. I am ready to move ahead now with my life with dating and a new relationship I would like to find someone with similar interests to spend time with.

I hope to meet someone that wants to share their life with me and me with theirs. I am easy going. I would like to do some traveling in the USA. The Keys seem interesting and maybe the north west states. I am not one that is on the go all the time. I try to stay busy but not overly busy. I enjoy down time and time with someone special. I enjoy the simple things in life and don't have to be on the go all the time. I do enjoy sailing and spending time on the boat during the summer months. The boat takes a lot of my free time in the Spring and fall getting it ready for winter and doing the same in the spring getting it ready for summer. It is getting harder to take care of the boat so I don't know how long I will be able to take care of a boat. I am retired and enjoy my free time. I would like to share the time I have left with someone that has experienced loss and understands the up and downs of loss. Life is hard when you are alone as you probably know too..

I am semi retired plumbing and heating contractor and do service and installations for mainly old customers and referrals as of recent times. I am 76 years old, active and in good health. My wife of 39 years died in 2007 during a surgery that was later told to me was not needed. She was my soulmate and we had a good marriage and raised four children and I now have many grandchildren whom I cherish. Most of the offspring live in northeastern Ohio and requires two hours by car to see them. I like golf a lot and other outdoor activities but my main interest presently is playing violin, which I do regularly at church every sunday and in community orchestra in Sylvania Ohio. Both of my parents were born in Ireland and I go back there frequently but enjoy traveling in general. My goal is to reduce the loneliness that that has settled in and which is tough to accept. My faith is increasingly important to me and I strive to strengthen same by reading apologetics and theology books and trying to recognize the goodness in all people.

I am a convert. I love my religion, but am not strict on all aspects. I have been married and divorced twice, so I guess I'm over that. My daughter and grandson live with me. I bought the house so they would have someplace to live and I could travel again once my daughter got a good paying job (which I doubt will ever happen!). I have traveled to Spain, Peru, South Pacific, and all over states. Would love to spend 6 months or more just walking Ireland. Love history, biking, and walking, mainly sightseeing.

I've always been old school. I respect people and treat people the way I would like to be treated. I have a great sense of humor, don't want drama, life is too short for any of that. Like to cook, enjoy a good cigar, glass of wine and love sitting outdoors, weather permitting. Enjoy music, golf and sporting events. Not totally immersed in any one particular thing. Have 2 exceptional grown children and 4 grand kids. I believe in taking care of myself with working out and good nutrition. I still eat a cheeseburger or pizza at times, although I completely ended my consumption of sugar, which has produced great health benefits. I love being a Catholic and would love to have someone to join me at Sunday Mass. I have experienced many ups and downs and through the grace of God I have survived. About the one I'm looking for... Looking for someone with similar likes that I can grow old with, share some laughs, hold hands, take a drive in the country, enjoy a sunset, sunrise and a sky filled with stars together. Looking for love and respect. I'd just like to add... I love to treat a lady like a lady.

I am passionate about honesty. I am passionate about being considerate, polite and respectful to the people I encounter each day. I think I am a good listener. I am patient. It makes more sense to me to stay calm, and try to work out a disagreement. If necessary, cool off and agree on a time (as soon as possible) to discuss it again and resolve the problem. I think the worst way to handle the situation is to walk away and not want to talk about it. That solves nothing. My Catholic education had more of an influence on me than I realized (while I was growing up). At this point in my life, I can't imagine living without it, and how much it helps me each day. I am fortunate to have been blessed with many friends through the years through my faith, social and work lives. One person that stands out is a very good friend who served with me while we were in the Navy (on the same ship). We still try to contact each other every month or two, although we live about 2 hours (driving distance) apart. In my leisure time, I like go for a walk (before or during sunset) and run (at least once per week), which helps me physically, spiritually and psychologicaly. I love to ride my bike (same benefits). I like to read (we have a fantastic library system in this area). I like to do some occasional woodworking and mechanical activities around the house. I like to work with my hands and get a lot of satisfaction from things I might construct and finish or repair. I am low maintenance. I don't want, nor expect people to have to pick up after me. I think that comes from several areas; My mother worked hard to keep our house clean, but also picked up after my dad a lot. I also spent 4 years in the Navy. That will teach you to keep your area clean! I am not a neat freak, but I like to keep my surroundings tidy & orderly. It would be helpful if my spouse would have a similar attitude. We should also be willing to pitch in and help each other if necessary. I do all the laundry (and hang it outside, weather permitting), cleaning, dishes, vacuuming, ironing, etc.. My biggest challenge is cooking (or the lack of it !). Thank God for freezers & microwaves!

This dating thing wasn't the easiest thing 50 years ago, and still isn't - but I'm trying. I am a Wood County (NW Oho) native all my life, grew up in the country but not a farmer. I am a retired elementary teacher Like to stay active, but I'm not a jock or a weekend warrior. My mind says 30, but my body says 60. Enjoy my two grown children, their spouses, & my 5 grandchildren, all of whom are close enough to visit on a regular basis. I have a passion for classic & muscle cars, like to attend a car show or cruise now and again, Woodward Dream Cruise in Michigan is a favorite every year. My food tastes are pretty simple - don't go for the exotic or foreign. Not into sailing, boating, or fishing - I don't swim. I can handle going to the beach & enjoy visiting all parts of the USA. Would like to do Route 66 some day soon. I enjoy scenic car trips and train rides. I tolerate air travel when absolutely necessary. There's more to me than will fit in this paragraph, but I would say I'm a fairly simple person with simple tastes, who likes to have fun, enjoy life, & be with people who are not afraid to laugh.
