Like many people, I have found it difficult to invest the necessary time and energy to meet that special person, As much as anything, I am looking to develop new friendships; if nothing more than this comes out of this effort, I am okay with that. I enjoy my job since it is interesting and allows me to travel. I moved to the Tulsa area in 2009 for work. I'm not sure what the future holds, or how long I will be here, but I am open to someone that would really make me want to stay, despite the Winters here. I also will not rule out meeting someone from outside of of this area (but still in the USA) since - honestly - there are relatively few Catholic women here, and most single Protestant woman in my age range have been divorced. Needless to say, the annulment process is probably not the best conversation topic on a first date with a Protestant. I enjoy different forms of exercise and workout regularly. I have enjoy cycling, running, and weight training.. I also enjoy listening to good music, photography (would enjoy photographing new friends), and spending time with friends and family. I also started playing acoustic guitar a few of years ago and am good enough to enjoy the experience, although I cannot promise that you would feel the same way :) I enjoy watching college sports more than professional sports, and I love college football and everything associated with it. Maybe because it always takes us back to that time in our lives and because most of those athletes play for the love of the game. Relaxing one on one time with that special person and with small groups of great friends are times that I enjoy. I am generally curious about people and enjoy learning about others, but take time to open up myself. I have never been much into going to bars/clubs or any place where I have to yell to be heard (with the exception of sporting events of course) but have done so on occasion with friends. It is difficult to enjoy the company of others when you cannot hold a decent conversation in places such as that.

Note: After reading the article in the Institute by Lisa Duffy: I cannot court or date but only be friends so until the Petition for Declaration of nullity because of Defect of proper canonical form process.is complete.i will follow the site rules because I want Gods best for me and it will be done right this time so if i never meet anyone so be it. I am taking a STAND and i ask the other divorced Catholic's on this site to join me I have been Divorced for over 20 years and was never married in the Church but i still must follow Church teaching and take a step of faith and trust God and put my money so to speak where my mouth is. Then i can be open for Gods best!! Hi my name is Bill i am kind, caring, honest, and sincere, plus I have the ability to carry on a conversion and communicate how I feel and I am not afraid to do so Now as I wait for Gods match for me who I pray for everyday even if I do not know who she is. This is the time to get to know my greatest love learning more about Him so that I can be a great husband.. I am using this time of being single to draw closer to Christ especially in the Eucharist. I am now doing my best at making a habit of frequent confessions, and going to Adoration and reading the Bible As a man I believe I am called to Holiness and to be striving to be a saint every day even when I do not feel like one. I believe this is one of the greatest gifts I can give to my future wife and family to be a warrior for them and to be a man after Gods own heart. I do have to use a wheelchair but i do not sit around all day I have a great job with the federal government I have asked why many times but it's not about the why it's about the what. What is God wanting to do in my life and for now I am a man on the move with the New Evangelization working with Fellowship Of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) building up young adults to follow Christ.and go set the world on fire

This is quite the task for me writing about myself, being concise so that it is read I am not the best writer, but here goes. Hopefully, there is something here and you will reach out and we will begin a conversation. I have been blessed with two grown kids and with a career that I love. I have sufficient downtime so I can workout, bike, travel, visit, woodwork, cook, etc. I am a positive person, always seeking ways to improve. I am not complicated. I like to laugh and have fun, try different things/places. I like watching sports on TV, but not much of anything else; I prefer country and classic rock music to hip-hop or rap; I like spending time with friends, either in or out, but am also content doing my thing by myself; I like helping friends and neighbors; I look forward to the change in seasons and really like the cold weather, but I dont want to be cold; I like grilling outside; I like dogs, but don't have one now; I am an avid reader of books, but don't read many magazines. I used to do quite a bit of camping and would like to rekindle that type of travels and adventures. I want to try many different things and see more places, all of which have not yet been identified. We are here to live, experience, and share our lives. I am looking for a faithful person, someone who is interested in sharing their faith, life, family, travels, ups and downs. I am looking for friendship first, then see where that leads. I was born in west Texas but spent the majority of my life in the eastern US in many different locations. I transferred to Fort Worth for work in 2015, and recently moved to OKC with a new job. CM is the first online dating I've tried and I am still a bit nervous about this avenue of meeting someone. I find much less opportunity to meet new people the same age who are looking for a relationship. So here I am, as I am assuming you are too. I pray that we all have a happy, healthy future no matter the outcome and that we can gracefully accept our lives as they were meant to be. Thank you for reading.

Thank you for reading my profile! I am a Catholic man striving for holiness in this chaotic modern world, and am looking for a Catholic lady to eventually share this beautiful life with in marriage, start a family, and help each other get to heaven! Currently, I teach freshman writing at university while I'm finishing up my PhD in English literature, focusing on renaissance literature (especially Shakespeare) and religion. I'm kind of a goofball when my head isn't stuck in a book, and I absolutely love to make people laugh -- my personality has frequently been described as "happy-go-lucky". I enjoy lifting weights, cardio exercise, eucharistic adoration, reading, watching movies, hosting small seasonal parties, hanging out in nature or playing with animals, watching thunderstorms, playing boardgames or even some video games, going to the theater, watching football or basketball, checking out used bookstores, museums, and all sorts of other things. Don't hesitate to send me a message so we can strike up a chat and find out more about each other! God Bless! "excess is also the real foundation and form of salvation history, which in the last analysis is nothing other than the truly breathtaking fact that God, in an incredible outpouring of himself, expends not only a universe but his own self in order to lead man, a speck of dust, to salvation. So excess or superfluity, let us repeat, is the real definition or mark of the history of salvation. The purely calculating mind will always find it absurd that for man God himself should be expended. Only the lover can understand the folly of a love to which prodigality is a law and excess alone is sufficient. -- Joseph Ratzinger

I enjoy reading and being out of doors. Picnics are my favorite, but I like riding bikes and running on Riverside, too. Although I am not from Tulsa, I have lived in Tulsa for the last 3 years and I take great pride in living here. I work hard, but I know that it is not the most important thing in my life. I want to be with someone that energizes me about my faith and is excited to try new things. I like dancing. I want to take cooking classes and try all sorts of fun and new things. I am a social butterfly and I love meeting new people. I want to be everyone's friend. My brother has had a profound impact on my life. He is the reason why I went to my college (St. Thomas in Houston, TX) and the reason why I went to law school. He is a great man who has helped me become me.

Ready to get started with the next part of my life. I have eight wonderful children (four still at home with me) and five grandchildren. I'm looking for a best friend to share my life and family with. I'm looking for someone laid back but spontaneous. Someone that's able to relax at home but also enjoys going out to meet friends for fellowship. I'd love to find someone open to the idea of getting to know my children and seeing where this goes.
