30, Toronto, CAHow to describe myself? Well, to begin with, I have had a lot of people comment on how much they love my laugh. And I really like to laugh, and to make other people laugh. I have a pretty sarcastic and sometimes dry sense of humour - I am a big fan of witty banter. I am friendly and outgoing, though I can be a bit awkward and shy in larger groups. If I was to describe my life goals, they would be as follows - I would like to be a husband and father, a university professor, and a saint. That last one seems a long way away, but all things are possible with God, right? My family and I are very close, and I would love to be able to have the kind of relationship that my mom and dad have. Family values - I'm all about 'em! More things about me: I am currently a doctoral candidate in Medieval Studies. My goal is to teach at the university level - I have had a chance to do some teaching during my time at U of T, and I absolutely love it! I qualify as a nerd in many ways - I love the Middle Ages, I consume books like popcorn (fiction, history, theology), and I love long in-depth conversations about faith, theology, literature, and other such things. Other pursuits I enjoy: hiking, ball hockey, team sports generally, watching movies (I have a fondness for bad horror movies). I enjoy conversation of all kinds - from the most profound subjects to just outright silliness.
30, Markham, CAWhat can I say? I'm a down-to-earth, simple guy. I treat everyone with respect and trust until they prove me wrong for doing so. I rarely swear or get angry, and am always willing to help someone if I can. I am a good listener, can hold a conversation easily about anything. I read a lot, and am very aware of most subjects. I get along with old people, kids, etc, as long as they can hold a conversation. Haha. I am a person who has a few good friends, rather than many poor ones. I exercise regularly, eat well (although I do have junk food, but all in moderation), and look for the same in others. If you don't respect your body, you don't respect yourself. That's my motto, and if you think about it, you will see what I mean. I never play games with anyone, and am dependable, honest, and trustworthy. I cannot tolerate ditzy or prejudiced people, who fail to see reason before making up their minds on something. I am trying this site, because I am looking for someone with my beliefs (no, I don't attend church every Sunday, but does not mean I don't believe) at their core, and other things I look for, outside of that. I believe in living life as Jesus did, and helping one another. My career goal is to one day be able to help many people around the world. I have been off this site for a long time, partly due to a bit of soul searching. I am also pursuing an MBA at one of the top schools in Canada this September and will be quite busy. I will find a way to make time for that special someone.
23, Bradford, CAThings I like to do is: hang with my prayer group, play sports, meet new people. I believe if you really want to get to know me better is to talk to me, because i believe you can't really know someone into you talk to them and get to know them.

29, Oshawa, CAInterests and hobbies: Martial arts, fitness, improv, writing, anime, liturgy, prayer, icons (AKA windows into heaven), Christmas, philosophy, existentialism I have been devout since childhood and have had a long and interesting journey which eventually led me to the Catholic faith. Ask me about it sometime.
28, Mississauga, CAHello. I am a traditional catholic man working as an engineer as a profession. I am also a masters student in Aerospace Engineering. I'm originally from the Philippines until my family ventured to Canada when I was 16. My friends would describe me as quiet and reserved, but I can also be quite fun to talk to once I get to know the person on a personal level. I am a devoted Catholic and my faith is very important to me. As for my interests, I love to travel, go to the beach, play tennis, swimming, snorkeling and hiking. I also love listening to music and watch some movies occasionally. I'm trying this site out in hopes of finding the right person God wants for me.
23, Melancthon, CAHi my name is David! I'm an enthusiastic young guy who's always looking forward to trying out something new. Writing, as well as composing new music are for me an essential of life, and are the perfect way to express who I am inside, and what I love to do. Artwork -usually only the bright colourful stuff- is one of the things I really go for. And even though I'm not much of a gamer anymore, playing through a good one like halo 5, just to see the amazing detail and design, is quite the pleasure for me! As for the most influential people in my life I'd most certainly have to say it has been my parents and 5 brothers and 3 sisters. I love them more than myself. Writing and reading, as well as spending some time with my family and doing whatever it is that they're doing are among my favorite things. I've always been the humorous sort, especially around loved ones (though I am a bit shy around co-workers). Making jokes to lighten up a situation is what me and my youngest brother are best at (Though you did NOT hear that from me!). The Lord has always been my shepard; I try daily to remind myself of that; he leads me and I do my best to follow him. Praise to The Lord: The almighty, The King of creation! (I learned that one from a song my Mom taught us when we were children.)
30, Toronto, CA"Friendship is born at the moment when one person says to another: "What! You too? I thought that no one but myself..." As for me, I'm currently finishing up my doctorate in the Great White North, which I very much enjoy (even though I don't really consider myself the academic type). I study Church history and Latin and much of my schooling is spent looking at old medieval books. I became a Catholic six years ago, and it was the best thing I've ever done. I hope and plan to one day teach at a small Christian college somewhere in the States. I'm not too particular about where exactly I live, although I am a country boy at heart. While I enjoy my studies, it is not the most important thing in my life. I consider having a family more important than a career, and I'm willing to live and work wherever God wills. I'm also very passionate about the Church. A blessing of the student lifestyle is that I'm able to attend daily Mass and weekly Adoration. Another blessing is that most of my studies can now be done from my laptop, which gives me plenty of opportunities to travel for anything long-distance. It can be hard to meet Catholics locally, and I think it's important now especially for men to travel the distance, however far (which seems to me like a good excuse to travel!). And so, I'm not hesitant to fly off somewhere in order to meet someone in person! In general, despite the academic side, I'm a rather down to earth, masculine, traditional man. I grew up on a beautiful farm with a large family and a simple life. I'm no stranger to mud and trees! Sometimes I'm serious, sometimes not at all. Calm and confident for the most part, but still a tad shy every now and then. I'm pretty easy to talk to, and I spend lots of time and laughter with friends and family. And I hope to share my life with someone who can be a good friend. as was once said: everything in freedom.
21, Toronto, CAI'm currently a fourth-year student at the University of Toronto. Some of my interests include travelling, tennis, boxing, and outdoor sports and activities.
26, Toronto, CAAs a Polish man and a hopeless romantic, I enjoy long walks on the beach while praying the rosary. The Catholic faith is the core of my existence, the Purkinje fibers of my heart. My ultimate goal in life is to become a saint and get to heaven, to partake in the "Unitive Life" written about by Fr. Garrigou-Lagrange. I pray the rosary everyday and try my best to get some spiritual reading before bed, which brings me to my next love in life: Books! I have quite the library in my room. When the Canadian dollar was on par with the US dollar, I spent thousands of dollars on books. I confess, I didn't read all of them, but I'm getting there. Most of my books are concerned with the Catholic faith. I also have books on history, religion, politics and other controversial topics Polish people like to discuss with strangers at a dinner party. I'm not a big fan of novels though I enjoy the classics. I love the outdoors. I'm always down for a hike, in fact, on Saturday mornings I'll wake up at 6:00am and promptly head out to escarpment country and hit up the Bruce Trail or some park with a friend. When I was a little boy, kids teased me by singing the "Oscar Meyer Wiener" song. If they were successful in making me angry, they'd call me Oscar the Grouch. The Irish called me Oscar Wilde and the Latino's called by Oscar de la Hoya, but once they got to know me, they just called me Oscar. I'm a unique character in my own right! I have a very lively temperament and I'm constantly moving forward, very enterprising. My mind is sharp, active, impatient - very broad horizons. I'm a leader by nature and I'm very hard working. Despite my fiery and enthusiastic temperament, I'm drawn towards rural life; I love nature and studying it's laws, I enjoy solitary walks in nature while contemplating it's beauty. Family is very important to me, especially the education and raising of children. I'm a very active person; physically, mentally and spiritually.
35, Oshawa, CAI think I am pretty fun guy. I try to stay positive and like to enjoy myself even in the little things. I have a small family but I put a lot into my relationship with them. My family is very important to me.
