I'll have to get back to you on this one There are times when one has a better grasp of who and where he is, and this apparently is not the time for me. When I get in the groove, it will all bust out, I promise, but until then, you have to be satisfied with what you have seen so far.

I am a cradle catholic, I am the fourth child of six with one adopted brother.I attended catholic school. I am active in my parish where I am the lead usher at the 8:15 mass. I also enjoy volunteering in the Interfaith hospitality network at my parish. I just recently retired after 34 yrs in the brick masonry const. trade. I am wanting to work part time but not in the construction trade (just to hard on this old body of mine :-). I have been divorced for almost 6 yrs. My marrige has been annuled and I am free to marry in the church. I have three children, a son 24 and two daughters 22 and 20 years old. And also two grandsons. Family is very important to me, we still have family get togethers as often as we can. My faith is very important to me as well. Since my divorce I have dated a few women, some of which were not of my faith. I found it very tiresome trying to explain my Catholic faith and at times defending it. I beleive that it would be more rewarding to meet and date someone of my own faith. Someday I hope to marry again in the church, when and with whom I don't know, only our Father knows. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, camping, (I refuse to sleep on the ground tho) fishing, garage sales, and car shows. I also enjoy golfing, I'm not real good at it but I hold my own against my golfing buddies.I am hoping to meet someone that enjoys some of my interest and maybe introduce me to some of her own.I am not to old to try something new. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. If there is something about me that sparks an interest, drop me a line, I will reply. Good luck in your search and God bless.

Catholic Revert after 46 years of searching and struggling to find what was available to me the entire time. Currently in my 10th year of recovery from alcoholism. My greatest signature strength is Spirituality and St. Francis is my model. Currently retired from Registered Nursing after 40 years and now coaching clergy and laity in spiritual transformational change. I have been divorced for 20 years and kept myself too busy with career and family for a relationship. It has alarmed me how many people do not accept the BIG 7 questions. If spiritual growth, maturity and grace are important in your life, we should talk. God bless you...James

I am a single dad with three kids: two older daughters and a son. The oldest is 22 working on her master degree, and second oldest, 19, a college sophomore, both living away from home. The youngest boy is 15, and a high school sophomore. My wife passed away from a stroke nine years ago. I am now looking for a woman with whom to be friend to spend time together. Looking for a companion with whom I can talk about serious topics, or just shoot the breeze, whatever fits for the moment. I'm usually busy during the week and available mostly on weekends. Like to watch movies/play, travel when time allows, and eat out trying new food or enjoying the same old favorite ones time after time. By the way, the profile photo of me was taken about three years ago, so I looked younger back then. I usually don't take a lot of photos so it is hard to find, but will post a more current photo once I can find one that would fit here. emotigrams.

I'm trying to find someone to love . I'm going to be searching for Her until I can longer search . Ok, I'm living a pretty simple life just because it seems to be the fit that works best for me. Just simplicity .Love, in its simplicity.I'm not much of an inside pet person but would consider a dog. I am trying to find a mate, pretty close to parallel ,in many things. God,Our Lady , all human beings,Love, forgiveness, big time desire to laugh. I'd like to get rid of the things that are holding me back... so I can fly. in closing... during the day rocks shine their light, but they must also experience the night. is it true all rocks do their crumbling after dark. what glue is it they need to stay together through the day. it must be something all must be able to reach out and touch, but only if they choose so they don't have to lose it after all that's happened. and I found it, when a baby in a manger reached out and touched me....peace

Former Assembly of God Protestant. Attended Teen Challenge in Rehrersburg, Pa, PTL in Charlotte, NC and Evangel University in Springfield, Mo. Spent majority of life in Bible study. John Calvin and Martin Luther fans. Faithful reader of Matthew Henry Commentaries. Several years ago made the startling observation that the Catholic Mass was actually real. This caused a tidal wave in my life. I converted and am now a practicing Catholic. Am a retired food service manager, live in Portland, Oregon in a basement room in my sister's house. Go to daily Mass. Church I attend is 3/4 Hispanic and I don't speak Spanish. My priest is from Colombia, and works hard with his English. Uninteresting person. Live on social security. Buy too many books on Amazon. Swim at community pool a lot. Listen to Catholic radio tons. That's it.

Mabuhay! I was born in the Philippines. My passion is to help others. Specifically, I am passionate about the welfare of the vulnerable members of the society particularly children, senior citizens and the developmentally disabled. I always look forward to conversations with my loved ones. Occasional dinner with my two children is a must. I am looking for a partner who wants to experience with me how life should be lived for our Lord Jesus Christ and our Mother Mary. I intend to make a difference in her life. I am a cradle Catholic. My parents and the Redemptorist priests in the Philippines influenced my life and in defining who I am right now. I studied in a seminary for boys. But apparently, God has some plans for me, other than becoming a priest. I make the best effort to pray the rosary, go to mass and receive the Holy Eucharist daily. I spend at least an hour in the adoration chapel each week as my time permits. My activities include, among others, making and repairing rosaries; enjoying a drive anywhere where I can appreciate the beauty of nature that God created for us; and camping out with family every now and then.

I'm in my late 50's, active and outgoing. The age range of my partner that I think is reasonable is 55 to 60, but sometimes things don't come in the package we're expecting, so if you're a little older or younger, it's ok. I'm looking for a normal, regular kind of lady whose behavior is consistent, in a positive way; you are kind to people, whether anyone is watching or not; you repair problems when you create them -- in life, with your partner, or with others. Most people like you and your friends are as well-respected as you are. I appreciate being with active people who can carry on an intelligent conversation and find the humor. I am a general contractor based in Springfield. I am a big believer in communication. I very much enjoy conversation with people who have different points of view and consider conversation to be more than just taking turns talking. It is what makes friendships and relationships succeed or fail. I am an independent person but I know my friends are always there when I need them. I enjoy being able to find humor in things that people take so seriously such as politics. I enjoy people who understand compassion. A person without compassion will destroy themselves, as will a nation, as will a world. I am not talking about someone going out and doing a bunch of nice stuff for people and then expecting a parade to be held in their honor. I am talking about doing what you want to do then letting everyone else figure out what happened. To tell the whole truth, it helps me distinguish who the people around me really are. Nice is just nice. A strong work ethic is also a characteristic that I seek out in the people I choose to be around. Not that I wish to be judgmental, but it is more fun to share a life with someone than it is to make a life for them. The companion I am looking for will be able to help fill the potholes in highway of life. it will require that we both be headed basically in the same direction. I enjoy boating, camping, fishing, water skiing, snowboarding, softball (I'm not very good but it is fun) I am truly looking for a relationship with a lady who is my best friend. Intimacy means trust and openness. Differences of opinions are topics for conversation. If you would like to know more, or even if you are just curious, drop me a line so we can talk about it.
