51, Portland, ORI'm a genuine and honest guy who treat women with respect and dignity. I'm strong in my faith, love for my family and love for life. I'm open minded and forgiving and seek the same in a partner/spouse. I consider myself an adventurous person and I enjoy outdoor activities, such as hiking, camping, rock climbing, biking, golf, time on the beach and a snow trip at least two or three times a year. I balance my professional life, my family life and my play time. I'm seeking a joyful woman, who understands herself, loves the Lord and has time/makes time to grow, laugh and learn with me...
47, Hood River, ORA little about me... I'm fast on my way to becoming a sedevacantist. After much deliberation, I reached this conclusion by reading the papal encyclicals of Popes Gregory XVI, Leo XII, Leo XIII, Benedict XIV, Pius VII, Blessed Pius IX, Pius XI, Pius XII, and most famously Saint Pius X. The Magisterium has many times condemned the utterly false ideas of ecumenism, "freedom of conscience", and religious liberty - which all triumphed at Vatican II. "Against the Sillon" by Pope Saint Pius X nails it succinctly. This is not news. Modernist theologians such as Josef Ratzinger (Benedict XVI) readily admit it. Just to be honest, this is where my theology. Also, I've read large amounts of material from all sides of the argument so, for example, I will no longer attend a Novus Ordo service because it was designed to be not Catholic. Anyway, I'll stop here as these are some main reasons and this is not supposed to be a dissertation!
32, Albany, ORI'm a Midwestern farm boy turned scientist/engineer who was recently transplanted to Oregon. Above all I am a practicing Catholic who is here in search of the right woman to share my life with. I think the phrase practicing is appropriate because I believe there is always room for improving my relationship with God. I love to learn how to do new things, so I have quite a few hobbies. I particularly enjoy the creative and productive nature of gardening and woodworking. When I'm with friends I like to see a movie, go fishing or camping, or play a board game; though when you're with a real friend what you are doing is less important than enjoying each other's company. I love to read science fiction, historical works, theology, and philosophy with J.R.R. Tolkien, Tom Clancy, and Thomas Aquinas among my favorites. As a child my mother would take away my books until my chores were done, so you might call me a bookworm. My personality fits best in the Myers-Briggs INTJ type. I can be slow to get to know, but I'm very devoted to my friends as I believe in quality over quantity. I'm naturally a reserved person who really opens up when a connection is made. Joining Catholic Match was not something I saw myself doing in the past, but I hope it will be a rewarding experience.
36, Sublimity, ORHello, My name is Chris.I am new to this online dating thing and a little skeptic about it, but I thought I would give it a try. Well, here it goes. I am a practicing Catholic and my faith and family are very important to me.I attend mass every week and every holy day.I try to help out in my parish when I can.I pray the rosary, chaplet of divine mercy, and chaplet of unity of Jesus king of all nations, along with some other prayers daily.I try to read the daily readings if I can as well. I would say I am on the shy side at first until I get to know you then I will open up,also am introverted and at times like alone time to recharge.I am honest, caring, and loyal.I like to make others laugh when I can and bring others up when they are feeling down and give them some words of encouragement. On the down side I can be stubborn at times.(We all have faults) I very rarely drink and never have more than one drink. It's just not my thing.I would rather have a soda pop, water, or ice tea anyday over a alcoholic drink. I am not into the bar scene at all and never have been and not much of a party animal neither.I pretty much lead a boring life when it comes to those things.I do not smoke, chew, or do drugs at all. It's not for me. I am the youngest of 4 children and was born and raised in Oregon. All of my siblings are within less than an hour drive away.I grew up on a family farm where I still currently work along with some of my family members.Farming is not a 8-5 job.It has some very long hours at certain times of the year, which has made it harder to meet someone.I would not trade growing up on a farm and living out in the country for anything. It has been a great blessing God has given me.I would love to find that special someone and be able to raise a family out in the country someday. The farming life is part of me and don't ever see myself not working in some part of agriculture.I also love to grow ornamental trees and shrubs as it is a deep interest of mine.I don't see myself living anywhere far away from my current area, but you never know God may have different plans.I like the outdoors and I like going up to the mountains, but haven't been able to go as much as I used to. Well, that's about all for right now Thanks for looking God bless
32, Sherwood, ORThere, but for the grace of God, go I. Thanks for looking. I am a farm-raised country boy. I'm trying out this online dating thing for the first time, to see what the Lord may have in store for me. Things to help describe me, loyal, and I don't mind getting my hands dirty. I love to laugh, and don't take life more seriously than I have to. I am an ISTJ / ISTP type personality. I prefer to to be straight forward with people and I'm a good listener. Bit of a basketball junkie, love to watch/ play as often as possible. Big fan of movies and cartoons as well. I enjoy hiking, walking, the beach. Anything else you would like to know, feel free to ask. Peace.

65, Canby, ORI am 65 years young. In my years of growing up (I still am,by the way)I have lived by one philosophy. I treat people, like I want to be treated. I have served PROUDLY in the United States Air Force. Now,since I am retired,I have closed the door on that part of my life. And really looking forward to my new life.I really enjoy a number of things.Of course all the basic things in life. But the main ones I find entertaining are exploring the outdoors, and indoors. One thing I pride myself is adjust to the situations that life throws at us.But there is one thing missing,YOU!!! The lady I would love to find and walk down the road of life with must be open to changes and adapt to new things that we find on that road. She also loves, follows ,enjoys and learns from the Catholic faith as I.Are you out there??
