I think you have the power to control how each day is going to be, wake up with that attitude and you can change the world (or at least the day). Enjoy the little things in life and live the others. If you take life to seriously it will pass you by. My family is very important and friends are like brothers and sisters. Outdoors entertains my vigor (hiking, biking frisbee), while indoors entertain imagination (movies, games, music). The cities have a lot to offer and I love to experience it, care to join me. I would love to find someone to adventure with me in nature, ponder with me in thoughts, divulge with me intellect, jump at scares, and be the friend I can share anything with (including random thoughts like if the moon is made of cheese why hasn't it been abducted by aliens). I'm laid back, yet work hard. I cook and brew. I appreciate both common sense and book smarts. If you've ever wanted a genuine honest man with looks and brains your dream may stop here. My inner thoughts: I'm only serious about half the time and the other half I'm just not sure. No matter how funny I am I'll never out laugh comedy. No matter how old I get I'll never abandon my inner child. Perhaps someday I'll be a ninja. Elvis is dead. There's so much to do in life and just enough time to do it in. Foreign travel is a must. Enjoying life is essential. Rain, snow and sun all have their time. Coldness is mean, but makes warmth oh so much better. If the world turns it's back on you just laugh a little. If I could have any superpower it would be time manipulation. The beach, hikes, and sports are all good things. However staying in with movies or games is just as good. Ignorance is not bliss it's rude. Fires are romantic.

I'm a fairly level-headed guy who is calm and compassionate. I'm usually the one to think things through when times are complicated. I'm also very driven to help others - I get a lot of fulfillment out of being able to help others, either through teaching or volunteer efforts. My friends would describe me as the guy who always has a project and a place to go. I explore the outdoors, do stuff like home repairs or automotive work, or just explore around town. I'm into adventuring 4x4 trails and weekend motorcycle rides (I started riding in 2014). When it's time to relax, I grab a book or movie. If it's nice outside, there's nothing better than taking a walk or window-shopping. There's rarely an activity that I will turn down, especially if I can do it with others. I've explored swing dance, theater, mud runs, rollerblading at a skate park, and snowboarding. I'm a meat and potatoes, farmer-logic sort of Catholic. I don't preach, I don't wave my hands in the air, I don't go around trying to convert others, yet I go to church regularly and even though I may have my problems and wavering, at the end of the day I believe in the path I'm on, and I TRY - all the time. I was part of a small group of friends who met weekly for Lexio Divina, and I miss that greatly. If you are trying to judge me off the temperament test, you can throw that out the window (Myers-Briggs never worked that great, either). If you had to summarize me in such terms, I'd say that I'm a Sanguine Melancholic? I want to help, I'm practical, like to take time with things, and feel invigorated among people. On the downside I can be quiet in large social settings, and my wish to make everyone happy sometimes stretches me thin.

I'm a Midwestern transplant now in the land of hipsters. Where I grew up, flannel goes with bird dogs and pickup trucks. The Portland area is a new adventure for me. I am a graduate of the University of Kansas, with a Masters in chemical engineering, now working as a managing engineer in Hillsboro. Family is a top priority in my life, along with keeping it all centered on God and the sacraments. In my free time I enjoy anything outdoors/sports oriented. I am an avid outdoorsman and try to keep an active lifestyle as much as possible. I really enjoy learning, so my hobbies almost always consist of things that have bottomless pits of information, because they never get old.

I am a fun and happy person who enjoys spending time learning new things. I like to develop projects with my friends and family, some of which involve film making, building sets for my sisters plays, and making music. I love to laugh and laugh with people. I care for those close to me and I'm always there to help when help is needed. Most would say I'm pretty funny. I would have to agree. I volunteer at my parish as a Youth Leader for the High School Youth Group, as well as a director for the Beginning Band at the parish's school ('cause music is awesome!).

Hello! My name is Colin. I joined catholic match in the hopes of finding a true meaningful relationship because I have found it to be rather difficult sometimes to find one in my area. I am 22 years old live alone and have two cats. I'm just joking! I don't have two cats but I do live alone in my own apartment and work full time as a pickup and delivery truck driver. I'm working towards a career in law enforcement. I want to be a police officer but to be more specific I want to be a homicide detective. I just want to be able to work tirelessly to bring justice and peace to others and my community. I have no shame in admitting how big of a history geek I am. History is easily the most fascinating subject to me. Growing up I would hang out with my Grandfather and all we would do was talk history and watch anything history. I am also a huge sports fan. I love football. I follow both college and the NFL. If it is Sunday you can pretty much bet football will be on my TV. I also love baseball and soccer. Mainly because I played for many years. Basically if its a sport I will either love watching or be up to playing it! Even more than sports though, I love riding motorcycle. Ever since I started up my first bike I have been hooked. It is easily my most favorite activity. The wind slamming you, the wave to fellow motorcyclists, and the rumbling of the exhaust. I just cannot get enough. Everyone has that one thing that really clears their head and lets them "escape" so to speak for awhile, well riding motorcycle is mine. Basically to sum it up I am a classic rock loving, sports, playing, motorcycle riding, history nerd......and proud of it! However, more important than that is my faith. I was born and raised catholic in a split household. Growing up I went to mass every week and was active in parish activities and youth group. After I graduated high school I joined the Army and fell away from the church. I spent about 3 years away from the church. I eventually found my way back and am in my second year of being a committed follower of Christ. It has been a very long journey of self discovery and more importantly I have come to realize how much my faith means to me. Truth is, I'm not sure where I'd be without it. I'm hoping to meet someone who shares that love as I do.

I moved to the area this last summer for work. I like to go fishing and hiking. I have recently started drawing which has been a blast. I love being outside and active throughout the day. I like to see the good in people. I try to be the friend I would want to have. Its not always easy but then again thats probably part of the reason I try. I got most of my life together so far and would like to keep things moving forward.

Are you a Beautiful Woman with a Beautiful Personality? I have recently relocated from Up-state New York, driving across the country to Oregon. Little Thacher kitty accompanied me on this adventurous drive across the US. Thacher was a great companion. I love outdoors and I love to hike where there is a beautiful vista. In Up-State New York, I love the Adirondack Mountains, and the many lakes, nestled between the ridges. One of my favorite hikes is Buck Mountain, especially in the autumn when the leaves are turning. The summit is a spectacular view, overlooking the beautiful panoramic vista of Lake George surrounded with all the autumn color. Now looking forward to the adventure, exploring the mountains of the Northwest. Let me know if you are ready to join me on the next hike that will take our breath away.
