56, Oregon City, ORI love our Lord and our Catholic faith. I'm pretty easy going yet passionate about a number of topics, especially protecting our freedom of religion as well as other freedoms. I love to give and receive love and am a strong advocate of Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body. I love kids, as you would observe when I'm around my nieces. It didn't work out for me when I was married to have my own. Under the right circumstances, kids would be great, but first and foremost is finding the right woman with whom I would like to share the rest of my life. If you have kids, that's great. For it to work, I realize I must gain your kids love and respect, which entails time and love on my part. It's not necessary, but I'd love it if you enjoyed an occasional fishing trip with me. An ideal romantic time for me would be sitting next to a campfire on a cool full-moon star-lit night with the girl of my dreams wrapped in my arms. We'd be talking about anything and everything and sometimes nothing while we stared at the stars. I definitely enjoy time at the resort as well. If it makes a difference, I enjoy fishing and hunting (most hunting is with a bow). Even though I'm cutting out the middle man, it makes zero economic sense, but I get much satisfaction from the hunt and cooking up a good meal direct from the land with which God graced us. I certainly don't expect you to enjoy hunting but if God chooses to bless me with a bride, I need her to accept this part of me. In July '09, I moved from Oregon to Alaska for a new job and adventure. It wasn't too difficult since I always wanted to see Alaska. I never thought I'd be moving there, but God gave me a great experience with meeting new friends and seeing some of the most amazing creation on Earth. However, in Aug, 2010, he decided to bring me back to the NW. My Alaska employer closed it's doors and I'm back in the NW with an even better job. Thank you God! May all of you looking for employment find relief soon.
61, Cottage Grove, ORI'm a life-long bachelor, who socializes with my long-term friends. I've recently retired from the U.S Forest Service on the Umpqua National Forest in Oregon after 34 years of service. I'm very phyiscally active lifting weights, riding motorcycles, bicycles, hiking trails, camping, fishing, concerts, reading books, working on my house, drinking beer and helping out my friends with their projects. I like to sight-see around the state and visit family mostly in the Portland area. I'm pretty easy going and I try to avoid drama of everyday life.
35, Hillsboro, ORI think you have the power to control how each day is going to be, wake up with that attitude and you can change the world (or at least the day). Enjoy the little things in life and live the others. If you take life to seriously it will pass you by. My family is very important and friends are like brothers and sisters. Outdoors entertains my vigor (hiking, biking frisbee), while indoors entertain imagination (movies, games, music). The cities have a lot to offer and I love to experience it, care to join me. I would love to find someone to adventure with me in nature, ponder with me in thoughts, divulge with me intellect, jump at scares, and be the friend I can share anything with (including random thoughts like if the moon is made of cheese why hasn't it been abducted by aliens). I'm laid back, yet work hard. I cook and brew. I appreciate both common sense and book smarts. If you've ever wanted a genuine honest man with looks and brains your dream may stop here. My inner thoughts: I'm only serious about half the time and the other half I'm just not sure. No matter how funny I am I'll never out laugh comedy. No matter how old I get I'll never abandon my inner child. Perhaps someday I'll be a ninja. Elvis is dead. There's so much to do in life and just enough time to do it in. Foreign travel is a must. Enjoying life is essential. Rain, snow and sun all have their time. Coldness is mean, but makes warmth oh so much better. If the world turns it's back on you just laugh a little. If I could have any superpower it would be time manipulation. The beach, hikes, and sports are all good things. However staying in with movies or games is just as good. Ignorance is not bliss it's rude. Fires are romantic.
51, Portland, ORI'm a genuine and honest guy who treat women with respect and dignity. I'm strong in my faith, love for my family and love for life. I'm open minded and forgiving and seek the same in a partner/spouse. I consider myself an adventurous person and I enjoy outdoor activities, such as hiking, camping, rock climbing, biking, golf, time on the beach and a snow trip at least two or three times a year. I balance my professional life, my family life and my play time. I'm seeking a joyful woman, who understands herself, loves the Lord and has time/makes time to grow, laugh and learn with me...
46, Beaverton, ORSo how do I fill this out to sound like the perfect guy? I'm not really sure, so I'm going to take the direct and honest approach. :) I am a professional, hard working, fun, guy with a positive outlook and try to stay active. I'm fairly conservative and I enjoy a great conversation about life and religious issues. I love to listen to books on MP3 while commuting and discussing them later. I'm practical, serious, funny, direct, hands on and hopefully interesting. I have three great kids that live with me full time (I have sole custody of my kids) and I'm very involved with their lives (sports, scouting, etc.). I'm a confident and direct guy that is also very affectionate and supportive. I'm pretty handy around the house and can fix most things (I have a serious tool addiction that I'm working on). I'm fairly old fashioned and believe in what's fair and reasonable. My pride does not come before the woman I love. I'm lucky to live in a wonderful parish in which I'm active in and have a deep commitment to my faith. Most of my activities / interests / hobbies have been listed. I'd rather get to know each other over a nice dinner or lunch and see if we have a connection.
74, Aurora, ORI have reconnected with my former Catholic life. I'm looking forward to meeting someone with whom I can enjoy social activities: dinners, hiking, visiting (e.g. Black Butte home), travel (e.g. riverboat cruises in Europe), symphony, going to movies, golfing and many others. I am known as a "connector" with people I've met through my work--from FORTUNE magazine editors to entrepreneurs--a skill that I initially developed at Xavier University (Cincinnati, Ohio) as homecoming chair, and continued through life. My focus in this regard has always been an interest in people-- their work, activities, personalities, and their interests-- and how I might help them. I have a unusual combination of background work related experiences from corporate executive in New York to dean of a School of Management in Oregon, with two successful entrepreneurial venture and as a professor, teaching HBS cases in an MBA program. Throughout these varied experiences I have been blessed with several mentors, the most memorable of which are a university president and an academic strategy consultant. My leisure time is just beginning and I'm seeking a person to enjoy and share it with, from golfing to outdoor activities, simply being together to learn from each other would sum up my interest. I do volunteer on several boards, am a business mentor in the Mercy Corps program and have recently joined the Oregon Symphony as an ambassador, which continues my connection to the Northwest business and nonprofit communities.
45, Portland, ORI'm new to this style of dating. I just got out of a 20 yr marriage, and dating has changed in the last 20 years. I have 2 special kids that I love dearly. I still am friends with my ex, and see her and her family often. I volunteer with the Boy Scouts when I can. I love watching Football on Sundays when my work schedule allows me to. I'm looking for a partner in life. I would like to find someone that can help me get back to my faith. If you have any other questions please ask. I'm not very good at this stuff. Please don't be afraid to send me a message. I will not bite. You never know if we have anything in common until you talk with each other.

40, Beaverton, ORHow's it going! I am looking for new friends and great conversations, so here I am creating a profile. My life consists of two crazy pups, volunteering at the humane society time permitting, finishing college, building my career, and strengthening my faith. I like to stay busy and involved, so I try to get out and experience different things. One thing I really miss is just hanging out with people on weekends and listening about someones day that doesn't involve talking about Star Wars or geek (life beyond a keyboard!) I am not expecting anything in return and I am not sure I will even be matched but I thought it was worth it to learn more about other people and discover new opportunities.
22, Hillsboro, ORHello! My name is Colin. I am 22 years old live alone and have two cats. I'm just joking! I don't have two cats but I do live alone in my own apartment and work full time as a pickup and delivery truck driver. I'm working towards a career in law enforcement. I want to be a police officer but to be more specific I want to be a homicide detective. I was blessed with a really hard working work ethic and I want to use that to reach people everyday on job. I have no shame in admitting how big of a history geek I am. History is easily the most fascinating subject to me. Growing up I would hang out with my Grandfather and all we would do was talk history and watch anything history. I am also a huge sports fan. I love football. I follow both college and the NFL. If it is Sunday you can pretty much bet football will be on my TV. I am normally a massive introvert but if football is on you'll probably have to shove a sock in my mouth....I am a passionate fan! also love baseball and soccer. Mainly because I played for many years. Basically if its a sport I will either love watching or be up to playing it! Even more than sports though, I love riding motorcycle. Ever since I started up my first bike I have been hooked. It is easily my most favorite activity. The wind slamming you, the wave to fellow motorcyclists, and the rumbling of the exhaust. I just cannot get enough. Everyone has that one thing that really clears their head and lets them "escape" so to speak for awhile, well riding motorcycle is mine. Basically to sum it up I am a classic rock loving, sports, playing, motorcycle riding, history nerd......and proud of it! However, more important than that is my faith. I was born and raised catholic in a split household. Growing up I went to mass every week and was active in parish activities and youth group. After I graduated high school I joined the Army and fell away from the church. I spent about 3 years away from the church. I eventually found my way back and am in my second year of being a committed follower of Christ. It has been a very long journey of self discovery and more importantly I have come to realize how much my faith means to me. Truth is, I'm not sure where I'd be without it. I'm hoping to meet someone who shares that love as I do.
