  • Richard, 68 from Hood River, OR
    68, Hood River, OR
I am a person who likes to live a healthy outdoor life style. I like hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, boating, motorcycles, horse back riding, traveling, etc. I also like to visit new places and eat out at a wide variety of restaurants. I enjoy most aquatic sports like swimming, scuba diving, and snorkeling, although I haven't had time to do many of these things lately. I like to learn about other religions when I have the time and opportunity. I believe we are all Gods children and each of us has our own life story. I believe that the lack of understanding and tolerance of other people's beliefs has caused many of the problems we have in the world today. I am in the Master Gardener program here in Hood River, a member of the Oregon leadership team for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and on the executive committee for the Portland Chapter of the Society of American Foresters. Life should be a loving adventure that should be healthy and meaningful!
  • Bill, 40 from Beaverton, OR
    40, Beaverton, OR
Work as an engineer in my current career. Love to explore new areas, mostly outdoors, and admittedly into gaming some, but I don't play too often. I find myself hiking the Gorge quite a bit when possible, showshoeing on Hood, out to the beach, and other wonderful places that Oregon and Washington has available to us. Very easy going, up for anything, and have a very laid back personality. If you're the A-type, very aggressive, we probably won't work out. Have explored Europe some, Asia a little, and looking to make more trips in the future. I am very honest, loyal, trustworthy, and kind-hearted. If you have other questions, don't hesitate to ask!
  • Brian, 55 from Lake Oswego, OR
    55, Lake Oswego, OR
I'm a native Oregonian who grew up in a Catholic family. I attended Catholic grade school and high school, as well as graduate school at the University of Portland. I love sports, especially football, golf, and basketball. I am looking for someone who is honest and has integrity, and who is also kind and compassionate. Physical chemistry is important, but that is very subjective to each person. I'm looking for that special person that I can be myself with, snuggle up on the couch with, and grow old together.
  • Christopher, 32 from Portland, OR
    32, Portland, OR
I am a student at the University of Portland after serving in the US Army for five years. I have learned how to look at what happens in life and see the positive roles that come with each lesson. In my off time, I love exploring the area around me. Whether that's the city I'm in or the country outside, I am an explorer and I enjoy meeting new people and trying new things. I believe you can never stop learning from the world around you. I am an Eagle Scout, I believe in telling the truth and doing what is right, even though it's hard or not the most popular choice to make. I love whitewater rafting, skydiving, I enjoy roadtrips and getting away to just relax.
  • Floyd, 27 from Lebanon, OR
    27, Lebanon, OR
Hi, just a little about myself, I enjoy pretty much anything outdoors, hiking, swimming, sitting around a camp fire, yard work, relaxing in a lawn chair, and a bunch of other stuff. growing in my faith is also important to me, it seems like there's always new stuff to learn or be reminded about.
  • John, 32 from Sherwood, OR
    32, Sherwood, OR
There, but for the grace of God, go I. Thanks for looking. I am a farm-raised country boy. I'm trying out this online dating thing for the first time, to see what the Lord may have in store for me. Things to help describe me, loyal, and I don't mind getting my hands dirty. I love to laugh, and don't take life more seriously than I have to. I am an ISTJ / ISTP type personality. I prefer to to be straight forward with people and I'm a good listener. Bit of a basketball junkie, love to watch/ play as often as possible. Big fan of movies and cartoons as well. I enjoy hiking, walking, the beach. Anything else you would like to know, feel free to ask. Peace.
  • Patrick, 53 from Portland, OR
    53, Portland, OR
I recently relocated to Portland from Austin, Texas. There seems to be a surprise around every corner! I am very impressed by the natural beauty of the area, the friendliness of the people, and the faithfulness of the Catholic community. I am looking for a special Catholic lady to show me more about this wonderful place, and share our mutual love for Christ and His Church.
  • Chris, 55 from Eugene, OR
    55, Eugene, OR
Hello, My Catholic faith is the base of my life. I strive everyday to be a good person and bring the best that I have to those I interact with. My life is good. I'm grateful for what I have, My God, my family, my friends. I love life and enjoy the simple things that it can bring me. A bird, a squirrel a sunset, a sunrise, a full moon. I'm a Franciscian. I enjoy a deep conversations. I'm a positive person and enjoy being with those who have the same outlook in life. I worki out at a gym, but also love to walk hike etc ( but it's difficult during grass season!) I enjoy college football, pro football, movies, the outdoors as well as staying home watching a movie or reading a book.
  • Colin, 22 from Hillsboro, OR
    22, Hillsboro, OR
Hello! My name is Colin. I am 22 years old live alone and have two cats. I'm just joking! I don't have two cats but I do live alone in my own apartment and work full time as a pickup and delivery truck driver. I'm working towards a career in law enforcement. I want to be a police officer but to be more specific I want to be a homicide detective. I was blessed with a really hard working work ethic and I want to use that to reach people everyday on job. I have no shame in admitting how big of a history geek I am. History is easily the most fascinating subject to me. Growing up I would hang out with my Grandfather and all we would do was talk history and watch anything history. I am also a huge sports fan. I love football. I follow both college and the NFL. If it is Sunday you can pretty much bet football will be on my TV. I am normally a massive introvert but if football is on you'll probably have to shove a sock in my mouth....I am a passionate fan! also love baseball and soccer. Mainly because I played for many years. Basically if its a sport I will either love watching or be up to playing it! Even more than sports though, I love riding motorcycle. Ever since I started up my first bike I have been hooked. It is easily my most favorite activity. The wind slamming you, the wave to fellow motorcyclists, and the rumbling of the exhaust. I just cannot get enough. Everyone has that one thing that really clears their head and lets them "escape" so to speak for awhile, well riding motorcycle is mine. Basically to sum it up I am a classic rock loving, sports, playing, motorcycle riding, history nerd......and proud of it! However, more important than that is my faith. I was born and raised catholic in a split household. Growing up I went to mass every week and was active in parish activities and youth group. After I graduated high school I joined the Army and fell away from the church. I spent about 3 years away from the church. I eventually found my way back and am in my second year of being a committed follower of Christ. It has been a very long journey of self discovery and more importantly I have come to realize how much my faith means to me. Truth is, I'm not sure where I'd be without it. I'm hoping to meet someone who shares that love as I do.
  • Stephen, 31 from Tigard, OR
    31, Tigard, OR
Hello! I am in a crazy love affair with God. But to describe myself... It is tough. I believe forgiveness, mercy and love, are top priorities in life. I will always strive for forgiveness, for what we bind on Earth shall be bound in Heaven. I would not be here today if I had never received them. I do try to show them, I do try to be a peacemaker, but I am only human. Ephesian 5:25 "Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her," this is what I want to strive for. So I spend a lot of my time with the church. I also enjoy hanging out with my dog, read books, go for a ride either bike or car. Recently I have been finding peace at the gym. I moved to the area for work four years ago and enjoy the area very much. I look forward to the day when I am in His Glory:) Jesus is truly my Morning Star!
  • Chri, 34 from Eugene, OR
    34, Eugene, OR
I feel like I want to be her Goldilocks option: not too hot, not too cold; just right. I'm always looking for that perfect wave to catch my board and take me to shore onto solid ground. She's that breath of fresh air when it's hard to breathe. She's my surrender. And I am hers. She's my Northstar, and I'm hoping this spaceship can reach her... I'm looking for lightning to strike; a connection described loosely by the former Jesuit Superior General, Pedro Arrupe: "What you are in love with, what seizes your imagination, will affect everything. It will decide what will get you out of bed in the morning, what you do with your evenings, how you spend your weekends, what you read, whom you know, what breaks your heart, and what amazes you with joy and gratitude. Fall in Love, stay in love, and it will decide everything". I want to be her hero. More importantly, I want to be the Joseph to her Mary. If she's out there, I'm all in. I'm ready. If she's not, I'm ok with that too; because, you know, His will be done... The following adjectives have been used to describe me by those who know me well: Quiet. Shy. Warrior. Leader. Scholar. Philosopher. Traveler. Surfer. Foodie. Servant. Movie goer. Athlete. Reader. Writer. Star Wars fanboy. Disney Enthusiast. Nature admirer. Dog lover. Adventurer. Thanks for reading up to this point. Cheers to meeting you on the journey! God bless :)
  • Danny, 27 from Portland, OR
    27, Portland, OR
Hey, I'm Danny. The one thing I wish you to know about me is that I take my call to holiness very seriously. I want to be a saint, not in the distant future when I am dead and (hopefully) in heaven but now. Thus, I am passionate about exploring the means God has given to me know, love, and serve Him. At the same time, I also believe in not taking life too seriously and enjoying the little things. I am definitely known for laughing at both cheesy and witty jokes and instigating ridiculous conversations. My closest friends have also described as confident, charismatic, joyful, passionate, open-minded, a good listener, and authentic.
