56, Oregon City, ORI love our Lord and our Catholic faith. I'm pretty easy going yet passionate about a number of topics, especially protecting our freedom of religion as well as other freedoms. I love to give and receive love and am a strong advocate of Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body. I love kids, as you would observe when I'm around my nieces. It didn't work out for me when I was married to have my own. Under the right circumstances, kids would be great, but first and foremost is finding the right woman with whom I would like to share the rest of my life. If you have kids, that's great. For it to work, I realize I must gain your kids love and respect, which entails time and love on my part. It's not necessary, but I'd love it if you enjoyed an occasional fishing trip with me. An ideal romantic time for me would be sitting next to a campfire on a cool full-moon star-lit night with the girl of my dreams wrapped in my arms. We'd be talking about anything and everything and sometimes nothing while we stared at the stars. I definitely enjoy time at the resort as well. If it makes a difference, I enjoy fishing and hunting (most hunting is with a bow). Even though I'm cutting out the middle man, it makes zero economic sense, but I get much satisfaction from the hunt and cooking up a good meal direct from the land with which God graced us. I certainly don't expect you to enjoy hunting but if God chooses to bless me with a bride, I need her to accept this part of me. In July '09, I moved from Oregon to Alaska for a new job and adventure. It wasn't too difficult since I always wanted to see Alaska. I never thought I'd be moving there, but God gave me a great experience with meeting new friends and seeing some of the most amazing creation on Earth. However, in Aug, 2010, he decided to bring me back to the NW. My Alaska employer closed it's doors and I'm back in the NW with an even better job. Thank you God! May all of you looking for employment find relief soon.
46, Beaverton, ORSo how do I fill this out to sound like the perfect guy? I'm not really sure, so I'm going to take the direct and honest approach. :) I am a professional, hard working, fun, guy with a positive outlook and try to stay active. I'm fairly conservative and I enjoy a great conversation about life and religious issues. I love to listen to books on MP3 while commuting and discussing them later. I'm practical, serious, funny, direct, hands on and hopefully interesting. I have three great kids that live with me full time (I have sole custody of my kids) and I'm very involved with their lives (sports, scouting, etc.). I'm a confident and direct guy that is also very affectionate and supportive. I'm pretty handy around the house and can fix most things (I have a serious tool addiction that I'm working on). I'm fairly old fashioned and believe in what's fair and reasonable. My pride does not come before the woman I love. I'm lucky to live in a wonderful parish in which I'm active in and have a deep commitment to my faith. Most of my activities / interests / hobbies have been listed. I'd rather get to know each other over a nice dinner or lunch and see if we have a connection.

66, Eugene, ORCradle Catholic. K through 12 education. Four siblings." The "Good Sisters of St. Joseph" afforded, fostered and insured "Paying,Loving Parents" we would have a meaningful education..or else!! I was well educated in the "or else. After graduation from a Christian Brothers High School, I entered the Christian Brothers Novitiate at Mont LaSalle, Napa, California. A Catholic Religious order, my aspirations of "Teacher" and member of a Religious Community was realized. I loved the Community life. The Priesthood! Always on my mind.. I started to explore the possibility of "Priest." Young, impetuous and unsure, I left the Monastery before taking my second Vows to think about it! On to St Mary's College, Moraga and into the Corporate Restaurant world..the '70s, in the Bay ..San Francisco!! Pretty amazing time!
52, La Grande, ORI grew up in Los Angeles and I love Jesus and adventures in life. I served 24 years in the Air Force, then worked in Botswana Africa for a Christian mission organization as an air ambulance pilot and now live in Oregon flying for an emergency aeromedical organization. I feel deeply called to serve our Lord through serving His people. Important to me: genuine and honest relationships, humility, serving others and striving my best to be a true disciple of Christ. God willing, I desire to share life with a special woman who loves God above all and is called to the vocation of marriage and to nurture a family in the truth and traditions of Christ's Church.

25, Beaverton, ORI moved to the area this last summer for work. I like to go fishing and hiking. I have recently started drawing which has been a blast. I love being outside and active throughout the day. I like to see the good in people. I try to be the friend I would want to have. Its not always easy but then again thats probably part of the reason I try. I got most of my life together so far and would like to keep things moving forward.
64, Portland, ORI moved back to Portland two years ago but haven't met that someone special that I believe is out there. I have four grown children, three of which are in Portland. I travel about 50% of the time for business. I live on Hayden Island which I really enjoy. I like to be active and spend all available sunny days outside swimming, hiking, or playing golf. In the winter, I enjoy movies, cooking, live music, dancing, and art.
59, Portland, ORIn a nutshell, I am focused, with purpose and also like to do all things fun within my grasp. My biggest joys are family endeavors, watching and guiding my children so they may spread their wings, spend time with good friends, experience the good this world offers by God's grace, and give back more than I receive whenever possible - thanks to God's love. I am the oldest of three; I have one sister who is happily married 35 years and one brother who has never married. My parents were married 58 years; my father passed one year ago. I have been previously married, as recognized by civil law, divorced, and following discernment with the Catholic Church (now annulled) I am considered single and free to marry. Ultimately I would like to think that God willing I'm on this site in search of a woman I can spend the rest of my life with. This means that you should be able to marry in the Catholic Church ( if previously divorced, then have annulment discerned) and be open to the constant teachings of the Church in all matters.
73, Eugene, ORI get up each day looking for what will happen that day that will be a positive experience in my life and for all the people around me. Happiness and living a very honest life for me is a passion. Right now in my situation, meeting that special person to live my life with is a high priority. My life has been and still is filled by people who have had a large impact on my life. To pick the number one with out a doubt are my Mom and Dad. They influenced me to the day they died a few years ago and I continue to think back to them often. Next in my life and it is not necessarily in this order but my wife of 43 years who died last year shaped me into what I am today. She was a blessing to me and the two children we have. Leisure time is not in a great abundance at this time in my life. It is a priority I will make in my life in the near future. I do play racquetball, golf, and bowl on a regular basis. I look forward to do a lot more traveling in the future, but need to find that special person to do it with. I enjoy reading but find limited time right now. I enjoy spending time with many people in my life, be it at my home, theirs or a night out. Nothing like a great "discussion" to stimulate ones life!!!!
20, Hillsboro, ORHi, my name is Bruce. I am passionate about learning about my faith and I look forward to going to mass every Sunday. The reason is because I feel like I am getting closer to God when I go. The people that have been the most influential in my life is my parents. My parents taught me that hard work and the belief in god can take you anywhere in life. I enjoy spending time with my family, working on my families farm, and playing sports.
55, Portland, ORI have been on Catholic Match before but it has been a long time. Having someone who shares my religious beliefs is important to me and I am taking another look at the site.
