*Just moved to Philly, PA!* So here goes: I'm a Virginia native who's spent most of my life somewhere between various parts of NY and Virginia. I am of Portuguese and east Indian mix (and technically theres like 1/16 of german somewhere in there, too). My friends would say that I'm a pretty simple and laid back guy, perhaps too laid back. I like to make jokes, and enjoy being made fun of as well (really, i do). I love to cook, but not nearly as much as I LOVE to eat. And I'll eat anything. I always tell people I'll try anything twice, and I mean that. I was big on sports growing up, particularly football basketball and tennis, and was lucky enough to be able to continue playing footballball in college. now i guess the boring stuff: i am an orthopaedic surgeon (with just a few years left in my residency training, before I can go out on my own :) its been somewhat of an up and down road. sometimes, the long hours made me question what i chose to do. but my faith really helped me with this. I guess we are all called to serve in one way or another, and my faith has helped me think of work as my calling instead of just a career. lets see, what else?... Random thoughts: I am a bit of a hopeless romantic. i believe in soulmates, and true love. I have an unnatural love for dogs, especially german shepherds, bulldogs and rotties. I have three different times in my life, finished in the top 3 of a wing eating contest. dont act like youre not impressed :) my brother swears that I cried during Finding Nemo, but im not kidding a small bug flew in my eye at the EXACT moment Nemo is reunited with his dad at the end. and I guess I am the only one on this website that took the personality test and had to look up all the words? so I guess I am phlegmatic (sounds like a lung problem) and sanguine (sounds like wine with cut up fruits in it) and I dont have cholera? and not to brag or anything, but I guarantee that I can make you laugh.. message me and Try me! Ill bet you 10 online dollars ;)

My over-simplified history should tell you a few things about me. I grew up near Philadelphia, went to undergrad there and after working locally for a while, I took a great job down South but eventually found I missed family and friends and seasons and culture and snow and everything so I moved back. I seem to be passionate about a lot of things. Truth is one of them. The faith is another one. I'm also passionate about life and about love. I'm big into family and friends and people in general. I try to love everyone and treat them like people. I like to contribute and help. I'm a patriot sailor. My family has been very influential in my life as have countless friends, teachers and mentors. Perhaps most notably, God has been very influential in my life. The details, of course, are too numerous to list here but I'd very much like to unpack them for you in time. I like spending time with our Lord and with family and friends. I am an engineer (by day ; ) so I have a pretty technical mind. I like to teach and make people think. I like to pray. I enjoy working out and I like playing sports more than I like watching them. Time permitting, I'll watch the big games. I'm into carpentry/woodworking, landscaping and home repair/improvement. I insist on keeping chivalry alive. I like to learn and read but find it difficult to make time to read. Like everyone, I like a good meal - most especially with good company. I like camping and sailing and various other outdoor activities (I'm an eagle scout). I like to exercise. I like skiing. I like pretty much everything! Everything good, that is. After all, I AM universal.

I was greatly affected by my parents and teachers growing up. I had 16 years of Catholic education, and two years in a semi-public graduate school. I was influenced by friends who were writers, and by people i worked with. For many years I was passionate about writing, martial arts, prayer, and family, but life throws you curves and you sometimes are presented with situations and revelations that make you question everything. I fell in love with an atheist and married her in a civil ceremony. It was a disaster, Because of my upbringing, I stayed until my kids were raised. I am now in the process of rebuilding. I have always liked to make people laugh. For fun I do improv, read, write, do taichi, take long walks, travel, museums. I like all kinds of music except hip hop and some pop. I like movies, plays, hikes, going out to dinner, and trying to play guitar (beginner). I have been to Canada, Ireland, France, England, China, and the Bahamas. i have also been to 18 of the 50 state. I would like to travel more.

Sincere, honest entertaining educator is searching for someone who enjoys what is most important about life. Huge fan of live music, athletic events and socialization revolving around good friends and family. Thoroughly enjoy a glass of wine and a good meal. I am a firm believer in the adage " another person cannot bring happiness to you unless you are content with yourself"

Consider myself just a regular, young minded guy with two grown sons who live nearby but have their own lives now. Family and grandchildren are important to me. I was very fortunate to have the parents I had who taught the honest values I try to live up every day. Tend to live in the "real world" with a touch or two of humor mixed in to keep everyone sane. I enjoy keeping active and I try to eat healthy but do like to dine out also. A decent movie once in a while is good and I also like watching sporting events, indoor/outdoor concerts, live bands etc. I give my best shot at dancing with (hopefully) not making a fool out of myself! I try to keep up on current local, national and world news and events so as not to lose perspective on the world we all share. Like to travel, mostly in the US but working on that "passport" thing! Also enjoy intelligent, stimulating conversation with a bit of "goofball" in the mix.

Hey! I am Peter. My faith is definitely important to me and is rooted in getting through difficult times. Family is a big part of my life. I am a big sports fan. Love watching football. I enjoy playing soccer, running, and working out. For this reason I am also a big fan of food haha. My summers are spent in Sea Isle City, relaxing on the beach or boating. Have gotten into hiking recently after living in Denver for a year. I just recently moved back east and have an apartment in Philadelphia. Occasionally, binge on a new TV series or movies on Netflix! I am committed to growing as a person and as a Catholic on life's journey.

Hey there. I can't guarantee you that we already have a lot in common, but if you read on and find out we do - you should message me! I want someone who will be upfront, honest, and I will do the same. It would be nice to have someone who would enjoy going to places, and of course trying out local eateries. There's nothing like a good dinner and then going for a walk with a great companion at sunset! But it's give and take too, and I won't complain when you take me along shopping at the mall or while I sit in the waiting room when you get your nails done. I understand that being together is the most important part of a relationship no matter what we are doing (besides communication, of course). I'd like to think I'm a simple-no baggage guy. I have a great career, and greatly enjoy it. I'm now looking for a relationship, but I'm not looking to jump into anything without getting to know someone first. I've never been married, so I'm pretty sure it won't kill me to take things slow and make sure we are compatible. If you are divorced, I'm totally OK with that. You had to leave him in order to find me right? Anyways I think I wrote enough for now. Anything else feel free to ask or save for the first date. Don't be bashful!
