Hello, (-: ... I really would like to be called Jerry..... I have been divorced for over 20 years and I am getting tired of being alone...I am a easy going guy, I enjoy fishing to relax. If you do not have any fishing gear, that's okay, I have good and plenty enough for both of us. (-: I would love to have that one special nice lady in my life to learn the fine art of fly casting, ( I am a good teacher ) go on an adventure, catch a couple of trout, cook one, let one go or cook a hamburger and toast a marshmallow. If not, you can sit by the bank of a babbling brook or a quiet stream and keep the coffee hot or steep a pot of tea, and read a book. We can do some traveling around the country, visit Outer Banks of NC and Jellystone Park and to do some camping ( in a camper ) and some sight seeing, visit a museum. I am looking for that one special person that's down to earth, sincere, caring, fun to be with and a strong faith in God. Basically I would like someone who will share life's experiences with me...the good and the bad. To love and be loved is the greatest accomplishment man can achieve and I hope we can reach that point together. I like the outdoors and love to watch the sun come up in the morning. I enjoy dancing especially the waltz. I like feeding and watching the birds year round, I really enjoy watching the Humming birds up close at their feeders. I like walking the beach ( but then doesn't everyone ) and hiking in the woods, also canoeing, kayaking, and biking, but not alone. I like nice music, cooking for two together, romantic meals, and playing a intense game of Jenga. I like to make people smile.... (- : wind chimes, morning glories, roses, and sometimes just watching grass grow. I enjoy practicing Reiki when I get the chance. I really love doing the Platelet Pheresis at the blood center, every two weeks I get the chance to help to try and save many lives, how cool is that. I do some volunteering at the senior center because.. oh dear, that day is coming..... Sorry, )-; no photo no response, I would hope that you would expect the same. I am not a big fan of head games, I don't handle them well.

I obtain great satisfaction taking care of my children. I love my job as a high school math teacher, especially when I feel I have made an impact on a young mind. True joy in life stems from doing God's will when I am blessed enough to discern and follow it. My experiences raising my 2 boys 1 of whom is severely disabled has made the greatest impact on my life. The trials and tribulations resulting from the challenges I have faced, especially with my eldest son who is disabled, have tested and strengthened my faith helping me have a greater trust in God. I enjoy working out, riding my bike, playing tennis, going to the beach or seeing a good movie. I am currently beginning the annulment process. I am interested in friendship with someone who shares my faith and values. If it is the Good Lord's Will I would like to eventually find someone to share this life with.

I think the longer people get to know me, the more interesting, or perhaps weird, I become haha! I'm pretty laid back and usually keep to myself at work, so it probably surprises people when they find out all these unique interests I have. First off: I love being creative. I've set up a workbench in my apartment and always have a few projects in the works. I always keep up with the latest in movies and video games and get a unique view into the world of entertainment because of my job at Hasbro. I have a weird fascination for strange modes of transportation. I own a unicycle, can walk with stilts, and I'm always ready to try and master something new and fun. I'm huge fan of fishing and kayaking. My goal for this summer is to start hiking/backpacking more. I'm a DIY kind of person. I built my own computer, work on my own car, and love it when I have an excuse to buy a new tool! Flea markets and antique stores are super fun. I love to stay active, but also enjoy staying in and just watching a movie or TV. There's probably a lot more I could say, but I'd rather actually talk with you! As far as online dating goes, I'm skeptical, but hoping for the best. I hate the idea of just browsing profiles because it's not nearly as romantic as how people used to meet, but I figured I should give it a try. Still on the free subscription, so sorry if I take a while to reach out...

Friends, family, and faith are all very important to me. I love sports, the beach, traveling, reading- (especially history as that's what I teach), and real estate. I'm patient, easy going, and I really love to laugh. I want to meet someone who will enjoy sharing her life with me as I will with her and is interested in marriage.

I think I'm pretty down to earth. I think it's important to be humble. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends but I also enjoy the time I spend alone. I like being active from working out to golfing to riding my bike but I don't get antsy sitting on the beach all day either. I appreciate working almost as much as playing golf... well that might be a stretch...but I am passionate about my work. Love to travel, especially to Europe...and experiencing different cultures and peoples. But above all, my faith is most important to me.

I'm Traditional when it comes to religion. I'm a sucker who has had a lot of people hurt me, emotionally eh? I try really, really hard to put other people first, and as a result I am struggling really badly sometimes. I don't know how to put myself first, except when things get really really bad. and then I'm mean. but I have to keep on keeping on as they say.

I recently moved back to RI after spending 8 years in NY and CT. Currently managing my families horse farm and stables and I alsoI work at a university and enjoy teaching and research. I enjoy reading, hiking, camping, climbing, travelling, and exploring. While I am a cradle catholic there were periods of my life where I drifted from the Church. However I keep on coming back and for the past couple of years have really been exploring the depths of my faith and spiritual life.

God has shown me a lot of things but He's not done with me yet. I've learned a lot that I wish I knew 20 or more years ago, but thankfully life allows for new beginnings... I love (in no particular order) music, travel, cheese, learning new things, enjoying nature both on foot and in a car, children, chocolate, sports (both playing and watching), and wintertime I cannot live without air, water, food, and God. I like to laugh, to love, to be loved, to dream, and to hope.

You can best describe me as caring, fun, loving, honest, and loyal. I've always been a glass is half full type of person. I love being active and would enjoy finding someone to share things with. Day trips, vacations, spending time with friends and family, Random car rides, or enjoying a good ball game make me happy. I was an altar boy for 12 years, and my faith has always been an important part of my life. I've been blessed with two beautiful children. This may be a lot of some people to handle, and it may not seem like I am the "ideal" Catholic. Life does happen, and we learn from things we do and people we should never have been with. However, I will never regret it, as my children are my perfection. I would love to find a girl with a big heart and a lot of love to give! I usually wear sweaters or button downs in the winter and fall, and polos in the summer. I know how to rock a suit too! The White Mountains or Acadia National Park are my favorite vacation spots. I do love the snow, but I'd sure love to be on a boat out on a lake somewhere right now! I love to have long intelligent conversations especially if it's about religion or politics, and I'm always up for trying something new:) I'd love to hear from anyone!

Salve. Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.
