32, Knoxville, TNBlessings to you all on this journey called life! I relocated about three years ago to the Knoxville, TN area from the true dairy state of Wisconsin to take a job as a leadership instructor in the military. I love being next to the Smokey Mountains and being out in nature when I can. Also, I have to testify, and agree to the saying, "there is nothing like southern hospitality". In my free time I enjoy many things; socializing, hiking/camping, boardgames, road trips, movies, working out, etc.. pretty much go where the wind goes for the day. Pretty chilax. Currently I am also working on my bachelor degree in Business Administration. I am very active in the church community. I am small group leader for Confirmation classes, have taught high schoolers religious ed groups, and now I really enjoy teaching 2nd graders in preparing to receive Holy Communion and Reconciliation. Their thirst and love for Jesus brings such great joy to my life. I am also a leader in our local Young Adults group called "The Frassati Fellowship"! I recently went on my first 5 day silent retreat and loved it! Highly recommend it to everyone at least once a year to make a retreat. Already planing my next one! If you would like to know more just ask!
29, Chattanooga, TNI have never been very good at writing these things. I recently moved from Nashville to Chattanooga for a change in careers (still trying to figure out how to update my profile to say Chattanooga and not Nashville. If you see it changed, you should message and congratulate me because this was definitely a struggle). I am working as a construction manager and absolutely love it so far. I like a challenge and this has been a big one so far. Overall I am very laid back and am looking for someone that is similar. I enjoy hiking/camping, running, traveling, and sitting on my couch with a good whiskey. I am told I always pick terrible pictures for these things, but it has become tradition, so why change now? I really want to get a dog but sadly my apartment won't let me keep a German Shepard here. Still trying to sweet talk the girls at the front desk but my sweet talk game is about as good as my picture picking out game...
34, Knoxville, TNHello. I am a graduate student at the University of Tennessee. I was born into the Faith, fell away in my early twenties, and was converted back about eight years ago. Like most converts/reverts I am a very passionate defender of her eternal truths. I love to learn about the world. History, science, philosophy, math, technology. I am interested in it all. There is so much to learn about the world we live in, and I am constantly amazed about how much I do not know. I am a very avid reader of novels. I try to stick to the "Great Books"; but, I am also a sucker for science fiction and fantasy novels. I also love the cinema. My tastes are similar for films. I try to watch 'artsy' films and the classics; but, I am also a sucker for spectacular action films where things go boom. I am very close to my family. I live with my sister and her husband now. It is very convenient while I am in school. My parents live in Nashville and I see them often. (Although my mom claims not often enough.) I am not from an especially large family (I have two sisters); but, a large family is something I desire very much. I played tennis competitively when I was young. I still enjoy to play although I have not found much time for it recently. I love coffee, any kind of competitive game (board, card, trivia, sports, etc), chocolate, ice cream, the Great Outdoors, and dogs. I try not to be too earnest. I have a weakness for bad puns and quick witticisms. I love a good joke and I think making a joke about something is a good way to say things which might otherwise be awkward to talk about. I am also prone to randomly breaking out into song, making up new lyrics along the way. If I can combine a good song with a good joke I am in hog heaven.
59, Johnson City, TNgreetings.., "birds don't fly they ride the wind--- fish don't swim; they're carried by the water" my daily prayer is to do Gods will... not force my plans upon the journey that He guides & directs. albiet a bit unconventional:).... i begin with 1-1.5hrs. each AM: in prayer, reading, study & meditation. most folks find me a bit "enthusiastic" about everything i do. Delving into scripture, riding my bicycle or sanding on a piece of wood. If you don't have passion.... why bother.
36, Sweetwater, TNHey, I like to have fun! I am usually introverted, but that does not mean I am not paying attention....I listen well, I tend to think deeply on matter of importance....I try to live each day for what it is, and embrace it..... I am a hopeful romantic, I try to be a gentleman first, and treat others with respect...I hope to have a family, built around the church and God's Idea of marriage. I have a huge laugh and usually have fun with friends....I am passionate about work, and doing things right...... I have been through a lot in my life, from losing family members and close friends, to seeing the world and poverty..... I hope to be a good witness of the holy church and a Christian person. Really excited on what Pope Francis is doing with in the church and the world..... Lets be Saints, God Bless
45, Harrison, TNI'm an outdoor lover, Gods gift to us here on earth! Love kayaking, hiking, festivals, and vacations! My leisure time is a conglomerate of outdoor and indoor, depending on weather.
46, Knoxville, TNI am passionate about life and what God has done with my life. I admire my parents for the way they raised my 5 siblings and myself. They have been married for over 50 years. I enjoy golf, hockey, exercising, and reading.
33, Knoxville, TNI am from a large homogeneous, conservative, southern, Catholic family that has deltaed into a variety of individual personal expressions- including both very religious and overtly modern views. I came out somewhere in the middle. I hike, I snorkel, I run, I ski. Sports have always been a keystone to my life. I love living. I believe in being over having and that translates into being there for others rather than having all the answers. I have many goals and ambitions in life. I would love to have my highest purpose the happiness and dreams of someone else. I am the most normal man I know. I deem myself a considerate, patient and even-keeled individual. I make more than 7 mistakes a day and try to learn from them. That is, more or less, me!
47, Maryville, TNI grew up in a small rural farming community in Wisconsin. I am the oldest of 5 sons, my mother and father are still well and happily married. I have two really great children, a son and a daughter, and one granddaughter. I grew up where hard work and close family ties are a way of life. My grandparents taught me a lot about everything from family, honor, integrity, subsistence living and enjoying life. My earliest memories of visiting my grandparents were working in a very large garden, a house with no running water and little heat. I loved visiting them. I am honest, trustworthy, hardworking, faithful and forever an optimist. I have many skills and interests. I really enjoy being outdoors, camping, hiking, traveling, beaches, dining out, doing adventurous vacations. My occupation is a computer programmer, but I have done many building projects, new houses, remodeling, roofing, siding, new additions, decks, tree removal , landscaping etc I visit the gym often and volunteer many hours to church related activities. I have many other interests like gardening, cooking, board games, puzzles etc. I can even crochet. I am really good with children and for most of my kids life I have been the single parent. Mr. Mom and dad. As my son was growing up I volunteered as an assistant baseball coach for his team. What I really enjoy most is spending time, (holding hands, snuggling, cuddling up to watch a movie) with that special someone which I am missing in my life right now.

20, Cleveland, TNI am an engineering major. I want to make something that saves lives in the future. Safety for all people is needed. I plan on becoming a mechanical engineer in the future. Some of the most influential experiences for me have been going to college and experiencing the Air Force Culture in ROTC. I'm not in ROTC now, but I've taken some values with me such as strong integrity and teamwork. Religion at college has been a breakthrough for me. I've come to rely heavily on God every day. Yes to all faith questions is preferred and a strong following of Church Canon is required. In my free time I run, bike, read, paint and play games once in a while. I love hiking but never have enough time to go out and enjoy some time on an 8-mile trail.
