54, Leoma, TNIve been told I need to update my profile, so I am starting here. I have been separated for 7 years and divorced now for 6. It has been a long and tough journey to this point. Being married for almost 25 years, then the bombshell took its toll. I have buried my father since then, teen age children have become adults, and the babies are now 17,15,15,and 12. I first joined CM to find catholic friends locally but this never really worked out. I have since moved back to Tennessee, and have custody of two of my 4 minor children. Relocation right now is out of the question as they want to attend the local HS, but its possible in the future depending. The first annulment proceeding filed by her were denied. However at the insistence of a CM member who will remain nameless, I have sent paperwork to the Diocese I live in and am looking at filing my own based on facts I chose to ignore. Anyway, I can still be here making friends!!
24, Springfield, TNGod and my Catholic faith are the most important parts in my life. I converted in 2013. I'm studying biotechnology in college, but soon, I'll transfer from where I am to Concordia University in Montreal, Canada to study microbiology. I love animals and I am a vegan. If there is anything else you want to know, feel free to message me!
31, Cumberland Gap, TNI've just recently ended my first semester of medical school, after practicing chiropractic for the past 3 years. As always, God seems to always have greater plans for us than we could imagine at first. I enjoy all rec sports and learning more about philosophy, theology, and scripture. I am convinced that if every person truly understood the remarkable story of salvation history, they would be compelled to worship God as he deserves. I look forward to meeting someone with a passion for Jesus and his Church. A woman with a strong desire to start a beautiful and loving family as large as God desires for us.
29, La Vergne, TNI am a 26 year old single male originally from LaVergne, TN. Currently,. I am a U.S. Navy Corpsman stationed at Naval Branch Health Clinic Meridian, Mississippi. I am so on fire for God and He is the center of my life. Without God, we are nothing but walking and talking beings with no purpose or hope. I live to serve others in any way I can, it truly breaks my heart knowing that there are billions of people in this world suffering in some way. I wish there was more I could do but focusing on my prayer life is crucial to me doing all I can for others as well as myself. I love music, ESPECIALLY The Beatles and Led Zeppelin as well as Christian music. I also love watching movies and some television shows, though most nowadays are garbage. I am very very passionate about theology/philosophy and love learning and studying more and more. History is another huge interest of mine. Anyways, feel free to ask any questions that would like to know about me?
22, Goodlettsville, TNI am a Vanderbilt Law student (Class of 2019). I graduated Emory University with a double major in history and political science. I am interested in government and international law. During the summer, I volunteered at the local Legal Aid Society and at the Gallatin Juvenile Court. I like to read, golf, go to movies, sight-seeing, fishing, and I am trying to learn how to cook.
27, Knoxville, TNHi, my name is Randy and I'm new to the Catholic Church but it is nice to be home. I'm passionate about books, and politics and I absolutely thrive on a good debate. While I'm very close to my family, the men who came into my life, through scouting and school had the most impact on my formation as a man. While I enjoy camping and being outdoors, I also have no problem staying in and cooking dinner or zoning out with a good book and Netflix
58, Lookout Mountain, TNI'm passionate about living life to the fullest. I love my children and spending time with them, the Church and daily Mass, my vocation as a father and an architect. I enjoy the outdoors: gardening, walking, cooking, beach at HHI and MVY. Haven't camped, hunted or fished for years and ready to get back to it. Love live music esp classical, country and enjoy all performing arts, local sports and traveling. Sound bites don't adequately convey everything, but here's a smattering of me: Positive, prepared, pleasant, patient, persistent. Honest, loyal, hard working, trusting and trustworthy. Happy to greet each day and thankful for a cozy bed at the end of that day. Prayerful. Sensitive, considerate of others. Protector of the weak, defender of the faith. At age 30 I learned I'm Dyslexic and have ADHD...and a decent IQ. I figure they all balance, so I'm normal...a bit impulsive...yet smart enough to know and use restraint. I trust in Jesus, and that seems to work wonders. I love woodworking, pottery, and art - both manmade and Godmade. I'm creative, inventive, resourceful and frugal. I love to work, and know how to rest when I've earned it, and love to read in front of a crackling fire. Influences: both parents had big families and each different. My grandfather, a Baptist, was my hero. He started his business in '28 and developed 6 additional stores before retiring. He was kind, gentle and loving. My father, Presbyterian, was a bit more stern. I loved him tremendously as he taught me so much about life, about nature, and God. He established an important precedent for me and others when he went back to school at age 40 with four kids in school and obtained his law degree from Vanderbilt. My mom was beautiful and filled in all the gaps where dad might have missed. Our Scottish genes go way back to Catholic Scotland and my conversion to Rome made me feel at home, at peace. Professionally I am in transition. I've worked since I was 12 (mowing yards, waiting tables, working in hardware). Worked for a large architectural firm for 6 years; worked 4 years in a Fortune 250 corporate headquarters; Construction management firm for two years; Started my architecture office 1997; interrupted that by working five years at the state Capitol in Frankfort; Now looking for a new venue - here or elsewhere, on my own or with others, while continuing here for the time being. Ideally I'll always live close to my four little girls. They need their dad and I need to be him.
19, Mount Pleasant, TNI love football. Football has been a major part of my life for over 10 years now. Maybe thats why I'm single lol. I really enjoy cooking, reading, writing and studying in my free time. The Catholic Church has been the most influential part of my entire life. I'm looking to grow in faith with someone special.
23, Knoxville, TNI'm a laid back but motivated guy that is looking for the girl that God has set aside for me. My family lives in Pittsburgh, but I'm a graduate student at the University of Tennessee now! Whenever I'm not studying or working, though, I'm probably at the gym or just hanging out with people in a calm setting.
46, LaFollette, TNHey, I was raised in a parochial catholic school, but my family wasn't Catholic in any way, the opposite really even though many of my famous ancestors played a real part in Catholic history. So after about the 5th grade or so felt abandoned, as I wasn't on a church doorstep anymore and began to wonder the wild and wooly sides of life, though always cognizant of my Catholic roots. For instance thinking divorce scary at 8 years old for no remembered reason at all (but seeing all the bad that happened to my family when my younger brother got married a second time, I'm thinking it's a state of warning no that I'm a man of science), a quiet methodical study of religions, basic forthright, seeking and service to Universal Truth and really appreciate temples of all types. A So I was setting in some den of iniquity keeping order and higher ideals in mind like only I could among the barbarians and a priest walks in and orders a BBQ sandwich and announces himself as the to Pastor at OLPH. I mention I'd been thinking about going to church (some thirty years as that's how long it takes for a priest to cross one's path). He said sure, and later he said that he heard it all the time, but no one ever followed through with it in his experience till I did and I've been attending Mass ever since. That's when I realized I enjoy the Catholic lifestyle, thinking hey there might be something like nice women, nice able-bodied able-minded catholic women. Something I really hadn't seen as I'm fairly sure grade school doesn't count. I believe in Catholic more than I believe in online sites, but thought I'd post something anyways (it's close enough to be like work, while really not work. I am a physicist by trade and education, and I realized no argument against the rediculous is needed at Catholic, sensible people already, a soothing balm to my being. So while I'm enjoying my socialite God-Parents who've game night with 30+ people. I haven't met any singles and look forward to being matriculated into the fold. I'm 45th in Catholic Trivia here on this site... I know way more than I thought I did.
30, Cleveland, TN
55, Gatlinburg, TNI'm an accountant. Contrary to popular belief, we do not spend our free time reading the tax code! I like live music, baseball, and neighborhood festivals, plus some down times of quiet evenings in front of the fire or on the deck. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I think people would say I'm friendly, loyal, and have a good sense of humor. I'm also trying hard to live a Christian life.
