70, Katy, TXNormally quite and reserved but can be excitable. Enjoy serving as a lector reader and Eucharistic Minister. Love my children and grandchildren enough to lay my live down for them. Kind, considerate, lovable, generous and giving. Now having said all that, you really need to get to know me before you pronounce judgement.
43, Houston, TXHIGH MAINTENANCE WOMEN need not apply! LOL! I'm a pretty fun and outgoing guy, but I am not a fan of liberals (ie. the ones that that vote for Obama/Killary, are pro-choice, or don't believe in protecting traditional marriage). And on that note: you can NOT be a Catholic and support or vote for a political candidate that supports abortion....no matter what the Jesuits or Paulists tell you! I'll be honest in saying that I'm not a particularly big fan of Pope Francis. Just Youtube "Frank the hippie pope"....even the Lutherans get it! LOL! Aside from work...I enjoy spending my free time traveling (for fun!) around the USA and Europe. Being a musician (I can actually sing opera!)....I enjoy anything having to do with music, sports, cycling, reading books, and hanging out with family and friends. I'm currently teaching myself how to play the Cajun accordion and guitar (or "geetar" if you're from east Texas). Lol! I'm a parishioner at a traditional Catholic church here in Houston. Traditional Masses are incredibly beautiful, reverent and very solemn. Not a guitar (or "geetar") or tambourine to be found anywhere! instead....we have a pipe organ, chant, beautiful choral music, and smells and bells. Btw....I can sing some serious Gregorian chant! ;-) I've actually met a lot of cool people on this site, and all of them have said that I definitely live up to my profile. I'm a pretty funny, intelligent, and confident person and my personality is one that usually makes people laugh. The reason why i haven't married at my age is that I spent a considerable amount of time discerning the priesthood/religious life both in the USA and in Europe. I wanted to give God the first crack at me. Now that I discerned that I'm not called to the priesthood....I am now able to commit myself to finding a nice, cool, fun, intelligent, Catholic girl to hopefully marry! :-) God bless!
45, Houston, TXI am a lifelong Houstonian with the exception of living in New York City for three years after college. I am a little shy and reserved at first, but I really enjoy meeting new people and opening up. I am a very genuine and honest person. I strive to practice living out my Catholic Faith and to help share God's love with others. I am very close to my family and friends who have been very influential in helping me to become the person that I am. I love the outdoors: hunting and fishing and I love watching and playing all kinds of sports: football, baseball, basketball, hockey, golf, tennis, running, skiing, etc. I enjoy reading a good book, a nice meal out on the town, a live sporting event or an enjoyable movie.
54, Houston, TXNo more waiting until I feel financially ready or have lost more weight. A man shouldn't be alone and I know this romantic old fool could bring some joy into some woman's life. I pray all is well with you and want to be as open as possible right up front. I'm Hispanic, but grew up in a "Leave It to Beaver" type of family. English is my primary language, but wish I could speak Spanish better. I'm a very Conservative guy and an Army officer/vet from the Gulf War and see myself as very patriotic, and a strong believer in the Constitution. I'm deeply religious, but by no means perfect. I often wish I could be closer to God and even before getting married I thought of being a priest, but knew I really wanted children and felt that was my calling. I was married for about 28 years. My ex walked out on me and my 3 boys, but took my daughter ~4 yrs ago saying she just wasn't "happy". I told her I refused to give her a divorce as I didn't believe in them, as I married for life. She and her attorney let me know Texas is a No-Fault state and it only takes one person to file to get out of a marriage and they don't need a reason. I was the primary breadwinner and worked, sometimes up to 3 jobs so their mom could homeschool our 4 kids who all turned out absolutely wonderful. I don't like to lie and prefer someone who will be open with me and tell me the truth even when they think it will hurt me. I like being happy and wish the same for others. Having 4 kids, I was a Cub and Boy Scout Leader, as well as a coach for most every type of sport there was. I loved being with my kids and doing things with them. I watched Disney movies and anime with them for years and even though they are out of the house now, sometimes still watch them. I was one of the original computer gamers, I played "Pong" growing up and the kids used that to get me to keep playing all types of computer games with them though the years. Growing up, I didn't believe in dating a lot. The couple of girlfriends I did have, I stayed with for at least a year or two, usually until their dads thought we were getting too serious. My dream to marry a woman, have kids and grow old together didn't quite go as planned. I still would like to find a woman to develop a relationship with, to become friends first and after that, am definitely open to marriage. I hadn't planned on having/raising more kids, but if that was the desire of my mate, I really enjoyed raising mine, so I would welcome it.
40, Houston, TXI started this profile back when my girlfriend of 5 years made it clear she was not interested in Catholicism. As things have deteriorated and she has expressed that we move on like responsible adults, I decided to check on here again. Me looking at your profile means very little. Therefore, if it makes you a little insecure that I have not reached out to you I'd like to first say, don't be insecure. All it means is that I haven't paid for a subscription yet. My girlfriends/friendgirls have expressed that I should not date now for 5 years. I think that is excessive so I think I will instead just look for a few types of dating situations that I can divide my time up equally. That is to say, until I feel I'm ready to pursue anything serious again. First, I'd like one friend to go to the movies with. Second, I will probably need to have another friend to exercise with. Third girl should meld with me professionally and have some business connections that will make me rich. Okay I'm kidding about the third girl. So about me: I'd rather go to the movies than go to dinner. I'd rather go to dinner than go to a popular bar. I'd rather go to the vineyards with a group of friends than go to a popular bar with a group of friends. I'd rather spend time with family than spend time with friends. I'd rather go on a pleasant walk than watch the TV. I rather go on a brisk 2 mile run than walk. Unless the weather is super nice then a walk is good for me. I don't like people who play games in a relationship, better than I do. On Friday I like to sneak bunch of booze into work using my stomach. On the first date I usually perform "Jim Carrey's The Claw" and I chase my horrified date through the restaurant and tickle her until she wets her pants.
30, Houston, TXIf you've made it this far, I'm going to make it worth your while. I'm a man for all seasons, but don't hold me to St. Thomas More. I'm a high school teacher that enjoys philosophy and history. I studied abroad in Scotland and hitchhiked across London. I've also traveled to Turkey and checked out many cool historical sites. I love to eat and explore cuisines of all different places. I'm a goofy guy, and my students love my class. I like to cook. I love water-related activities like kayaking and canoeing, but I'm open to new experiences. I'm ready to start the next adventure of my life!
36, Houston, TXThank you for visiting my page. I am not sure what to say about myself, except nothing I say will truly replace actually communicating with me. Yes, I am a stubborn Catholic man. This is not necessarily a bad thing, because it means I dont bend on my faith or my feeling for another. Lol. I enjoy playing music, genealogy and southwest Louisiana culture. My family is important to my and has provided me with a truthful understanding of how a man should act and carry himself. 100% Louisiana Creole. I am not the most talkative person, so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. It's hard to sum up your life in this little box.
27, Houston, TXTraditional Catholic guy who also enjoys going out and having a good time with friends. I love playing any sport especially volleyball. Faith, Family, Friends, and Texas A&M.
44, Houston, TXHi my name is jose everyone call me joe. I currently live and work in houston tx. Here I am trying this new venture in life to find new meaningful friendships and GOD willing a wonderful loving life partner.
73, Rosenberg, TXI am an avid photographer, I photograph, landscapes, old buildings and flowers. I look forward to the Bluebonnet season every year, especially after a wet winter. I love the beauty of Gods creation. I enjoy working on the photos to put into albums to catalog my different travels. I also like fishing, hunting and trips to the range.
21, Pearland, TXHey! I'm Walter, I'm originally from Pearland, Tx. I'm 21 years old and I'm currently a junior at the University of Texas at San Antonio studying mechanical engineering. About myself: I'm into working out, mainly powerlifting and staying in shape. I'm energetic at times and reserved at times and I can talk about anything. I love sports, watching movies, and talking politics! I'm a very conservative person who loves America! And also the most important thing in my life is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and my Catholic faith.
34, Katy, TXI've lived in Houston for all except three years where I lived in Colorado. I like the warmth of both Texas and of home. With my life going, I long for a woman by my side to share it with. I currently work in HR, fielding questions about employee benefits (health insurance, paid time off< etc) I live close to one parent, a sister and my nephew. I reverted back to the faith after taking a serious look at my life and seeing how empty it was. Now someone would be hard pressed to find a bigger advocate for the Faith. I attended the University of St Thomas in Houston and was once part of the same group as Cardinal Daniel DiNardo. I've attended several different Mass forms, and I fell the most in love with the Tridentine Mass as celebrated by the FSSP. (though I will not object to going to the current Mass form, and I'm not the sedevacantist type). I'm looking for a woman who has never been married, has no kids, is close to her family and who wants a man in her life to help her come close to God.
