54, Bedford, TXI am a 50 year old single male. I lived in Michigan most of my life, and have been living in the State of Texas for the past six years. I have been employed with the federal government for the past 26 years. I was displaced from my job in Michigan, so I accepted lateral position out here in Texas. I enjoy what I do for a living, and also like my coworkers. I like living in Texas because the warm weather you experience year round, and that you don't have many cloudy and rainy days. I grew up in a family of seven, five sisters, and one brother. My parents both passed away from cancer, my Dad in 2003, my Mom in 1997. I have sixe nephews, and 5 nieces, as one of my sister's had three kids, and the other has eight. My family is spread out throughout the U.S. and Canada, and I am the only one living in Texas. In the last two years I have not been active in any misistry in my church, In the past I have taught catechism to 7th graders at the church I attend, and also took an 8 day mission trip to Guatemala in October 2009, where I stayed at a convent with Carmalite nuns. It was a great experience, as it opened my eyes to the plight of the poor. Right now my free time away from work is largely spent taking care of the duties of owning a home, as well as my enjoyment in playing sports. My favorite is tennis, which on average I play two or three times a week, I also have a membership at Bally's, and usually work out at one of their gyms atleast twice a week. I consider myself in good shape, but my big downfall is that I rarely cook at home, and am constantly eating out, mostly fast foods.
47, Bedford, TXI was raised Catholic as a child and attended CCD, but later went Baptist due to my parents leanings (didn't have choice). 47, Bedford, TXAttraction is rare-- and it is good that it is rare. Imagine how hard it would be to go out of the house everyday and be attracted to half of the people that you meet. Attraction being relatively narrow is a good thing. Meeting someone the thought of whom causes me to miss my exit off the highway would be a great thing-- I could really dig that. Missouri is were I am originally from-- Arkansas after that-- and the south has had it's welcome influence on me. Love the sincerity and kindness of people from the middle of the country. Been in Texas since graduating college. Looking forward to hitting the volley with ya'll.
