67, Deer Park, TXEnjoy the outdoors, company, companionship, my friends. Believe in doing the right thing. Love children, relatives. Honorable, ethical and consistant. Looking for a lady with a good heart who is intelligent and honest. I recently retired from one occupation and contiue with my primary occupation of over forty years.
29, Houston, TXI'm ok with driving a little bit to hang out because I live in a quieter part of Houston, but my outgoing nature makes up for it. I enjoyed my time in College Station, but Houston is a great city (apart from the traffic & humidity...). I drive back to Dallas occasionally to see my parents, but also hang out with my three sisters and their families who live near Houston. I'm not too picky on music, but have been listening to Jack Johnson a lot recently. Also, I do a lot of problem solving in my job and get enjoyment from finding solutions for people. If any of that interests you, shoot me a message!
25, Royse City, TXConsidering this is the primary basis on which I'll be judged as to whether I'm a good match, I find this rather difficult to write (not to mention it seems like I'm having a conversation with myself), so don't read too much into it. I'm currently a grad student in math (Number Theory) at TCU, where I'm teaching and working on my PhD. I'm ABD (I only have to finish my dissertation) at this point, but who knows how long that will take (math is funny like that). You're probably thinking that's a dull subject, but trust me, it can be pretty cool! Teaching it is a blast, and that's what I see myself doing on down the road. Over the years, my love of math and logical way of thinking has (perhaps unsurprisingly) evolved into a love of philosophy and theology. It's so much fun to think about and debate the questions concerning God, existence, and the like. They aren't your typical conversation topics, sure, but I truly believe they are among the few things that are really worth talking about. I'm also a lover of movies (mostly the good ones - ones that make you think and feel things), both watching and discussing/criticizing them. I've been told I have pretty high standards, but just as with everything in life, I try to keep an open mind and I can usually find something to appreciate even in a bad experience. When I can, I enjoy playing sports including golf, soccer, basketball, and football. The latter two I enjoy watching as well. As far as what I'm like, I think I'm a pretty down-to-earth and mellow guy. I'm kinda introverted and not the most outgoing person you'll ever meet, but that's largely dependent upon how well I know you and what crowd we are with. I also feel like I have a pretty good sense of humor; in particular, I have a fondness for spontaneous sarcasm... and puns (some say they are the puniest kind of jokes, but not me). My Catholic faith is the most influential aspect of my life; it affects my life goals, how I think, and what I do from day to day. I'm nowhere close to where I want to be, but I do try really hard. That's probably good enough to give you some idea of who I am without giving away the farm, so if you wanna know anything else, let me know.

44, Dallas, TXPassionate about life!!! Love to travel, learn/see new things, meet new people, help those less fortunate and be a faithful friend/family man. I am a city boy with a country boy mentality.... Spent my summers in East Texas so I had a fun balance as a young person. Riding bikes in the city and 4-wheelers in the country! Who doesn't love that?!? Based on those experiences I learned to enjoy the simple things in life. I exercise 4-5 times per week. It gives me good balance from the daily stressors of life. I also feel it is important to take care of the temple God gave me. My faith is the most important component of my life. I call it the "shocks" on the car. I have made it through some ups and downs but have come out unscathed only due to my faith. One of my best learning experiences came 6 years ago. I had just returned from a medical mission trip in S. Amer. A friend asked me what I learned while I was there. The majority of people I came into contact did not have much (by our standards, things, utilities, etc...) but they were happier than one could've imagined. I returned to find so many people unhappy about the things they didn't. Truly a gift to be thankful about the things we have!
34, Austin, TXI'm not Catholic, but have been becoming increasingly interested in the faith. I was raised very religious (not Catholic) and had gradually become less religious as I'd gotten older. However, i have been reconsidering faith for the last few months. Through much study, thought, and prayer, I'm increasingly believing in the church's teachings. I have been going to mass regularly for two or three months now, and now look forward to it in a way I never looked forward to church as a young person, even though faith was very important to me back then. I've been doing a lot of reading and studying about Catholic teaching, but I still have a lot to learn. Honestly, I'm not sure whether I answer yes to all of the faith questions based on my limited understanding of scripture, but I'm at a point where I am accepting of what the church teaches as the "pillar and foundation of the truth." And as many of my former misconceptions have been corrected, I think that I will continue to understand why the church teaches what it does. While I really enjoy mass, I haven't yet made any friends there, as services end differently than what I was used to growing up and don't lend themselves to conversation as much. I've never posted a profile on an online dating website before, but as I see myself growing in this faith, I am certain that "Catholic" will soon be the number one priority when looking for someone to date. I'm planning on starting RCIA in June and would love to have Catholic friends that could help me through this process. I studied music in math and college, and have spent the majority of my adult life in the performing arts field, although I picked up an extra job the last two months at a restaurant by my house which I'm really enjoying. I love reading, travel, sports, and cooking. Let me know what else you would like to know!
65, Burleson, TXI am a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and an Optimist volunteer since 1988. I like to travel, cook, go to movies/theater, sporting events, play golf, participate in my Council and Optimist club activities and hang out with friends. I love music and sang in the Men's Glee Club in college. My time in that club made a major impact on my life and gave me some of the best friends I still have. I grew up in Jersey and moved here from Maryland, about 17 months after my wife died. No kids and most of my family is in Jersey or Maryland, but I have family and friends all over, even Texas. I have been trying to finish work on two books that I have started but, now that I have made the move to Texas, I intend to complete them. I have always enjoyed reading history's, mystery's and pretty much anything by Tom Clancy or Clive Cussler but I enjoy being active, as well.

23, Plano, TXHello, I've been a believer in Christ for around 6 years, but converted to the Catholic Church from Protestant Christianity in July of 2016. I'm interested in someone who's relationship with Christ is central to their life. In addition to that, I would want them to accept all the Church's teachings and seek to live a live of simplicity, charity, and faith. After Christ, I tend to look to people like St. Francis of Assisi and St. Maximilian Kolbe (my Confirmation saint) as role models for how to live a life of faith. Their lives of voluntary simplicity and charity before God are very inspiring to me.
