  • Duane, 40 from Harper, TX
    {%action_menu%}
    40, Harper, TX
    My name is Duane. I am a little shy when it comes to meeting girls but I do warm up quickly. I tend to be a little quiet. Sometimes my honesty comes across as brutally honest and in certain situations I speak my mind. I like an honest relationship without drama and games. I enjoy the outdoors. I was raised and still live in the country. I grew up farming and ranching and work from day light to after dark so I know how to work. I have a job so I don't work on the farm anymore. I have good morals, honest, trustworthy, and loyal with a big soft heart that I usually hide. Don't tell anyone but I love to cuddle. I have a good sense of humer and TRY not to take things to seriously. I like joking around and being sarcastic. I enjoy kneeboarding, hunting, riding my 4 wheeler, jet skies, swimming, relaxing watching tv while cuddling, playing 42 and pinochle. As you can see from my pictures I like to be active and play sports but I am limited in that area because I was in a car accident that crushed my back. I walk with a bit of a limp now and struggle with balance while standing still so I'm looking for someone that can see past that and enjoy the things that life has to offer. I am far from perfect and I make mistakes but I do try to be a good son, brother, uncle, & hopefully someday husband & father. I try to be a strong catholic and I do accept ALL the teachings of the church. I don't think we can just pick and choose which ones we like. I have two older sisters, one younger brother, with 7 nieces and 3 nephews that I love like they are my own. I have an awesome family that is very loving and supportive. I have great parents that have been married over 50 years now. I am very blessed. Thank you Lord!! Thank you for reading this far and I hope to hear from you. God Bless!

Attend mass regularly. No problem getting dates, but I would like to meet someone with whom I could share that "special chemistry."

    Friends and family describe me as friendly, modest, and reflective. Here is my typical day: wake up about 5am and walk outside to watch the stars and listen to the stillness, often swim and run before work when training for triathlons, enjoy riding the bus, arrive at work around 7am, work through lunch eating a homemade meal at my desk, sometimes go to mass or confession during the week, leave work around 4pm, arrive home after 5pm, do chores or projects around the house, eat a small dinner around dusk, maybe watch some tv, recline outside to watch the stars, read the daily readings in the missal, shower then roll into bed about 9p. I also volunteer at a food pantry, Habitat for Humanity, cantor and play guitar at mass, sing in church choir, and teach 8th and 9th grades religious education. Sundials are interesting to me. Being active out in nature is very important. My son has been my focus for 24 years. He's enjoying college life, so now is a suitable time for me to search for a lifelong relationship. After being raised Baptist, I became atheist for almost 20 years and then was confirmed into full communion with the Catholic Church in 2007. I understand doubts about religion. They have strengthened my faith. Part of my attraction to the Church is to hopefully marry again if it's God's will. I want my future spouse and I to fully share in the sacraments of the church. This can help keep our marriage strong through God's love in good and bad times and help lead each other to heaven. Is this something you believe?

    Who am I? That's a great question one that I have been trying to answer for years. I imagine that it is because I keep changing with time. there are some thing about myself that has not changed that being my sarcastic sense of humor, my amazing knack for being too direct, my love of adventure, movies, art, mysteries and god. I love to feel free and happy , I am quick to forgive and forget . I am an easy going guy who wants to experience life. I like to travel, drink wine, play and listen to music, and just chill

    Update: I have moved to Texas, however I have not had the time to write a good update yet! Also, since people have been asking the chick in my profile photo is my sister. After several years of absence I have decided to return to the Catholic faith and resolved to try to live my life to the fullest. I'm very excited about living here in beautiful Colorado and very much enjoy spending time with others. To describe my identity in a few phrases: I'm a military veteran, a technician, and a certifiable nerd. :) If you would like to know me better then please send me a message! I don't want to reveal everything here because it would take the fun out of getting to know each other.

  • Phillip, 22 from Amarillo, TX
    {%action_menu%}
    22, Amarillo, TX
    Currently I'm a student at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas. I was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, and have lived here for 20 years. I have been a cradle Catholic my whole life. Recently I went through the RCIA process with someone, and it gave me a new appreciation and love for my Catholic faith. My family owns a farm and ranch Northeast of Amarillo, and I've been raised ranching my whole life. It gave me a passion for cattle, so I decided to attend WTAMU and pursue an animal science degree with an emphasis in beef cattle. I'm currently a senior in college, and I'm looking forward to getting my degree and finding a job. I've found passion in ranching, and riding horses. I enjoy hiking, hunting, riding horses, and being outside in general. I love music, and I love coffee.
  • Rachaud, 20 from Dallas, TX
    {%action_menu%}
    20, Dallas, TX
    I'm most passionate about the arts, politics and I think I'd say history as well. I've been writing for years now and hope to go down in history as one of the greatest polymaths of all time. My grandfather has been a great influence on me. I cherish his wisdom and the way he leads his life. Also, various writers have given me influence through the lessons I've taken from their works. I enjoy getting on YouTube and watching either political videos and learning or just watching comedy videos to laugh as much as possible.

    My passion since I was small was to become a meteorologist. I really enjoy watching the weather channel and learning about the complex phenomena that occurs in the atmosphere. I am currently pursuing and undergraduate degree in Biology with the plan of obtaining a Master's degree in atmospheric science. Along with this dream, I have also been involved with the church as well. I believe my parents are the main influence that have kept me closer to the church. Both of my parents are active members in the church, and I am grateful, I am following in their footsteps. During my leisure time, I like to venture outdoors, hang out with my cousins and do fun things like go bowling, movie, etc. Since I am in charge of the EDGE program (a middle school program part of Life-teen), I enjoy going to church and teaching students about the love God has for them.
