I'm a easy going person who likes to enjoy the life my lord gave me. I like to eat out, go to the movies, enjoy nature, especially when it rains. I like to attend concerts when I get an opportunity. I love to listen to music, especially soft rock. I enjoy watching the Dallas Cowboys during football season. I'm a big fan. I enjoy having "Bar-b-ques" and spend time with my friends and family. I'm a simple honest, caring individual, who believes in family & unity. I have a strong faith in God and his son Jesus Christ.

What can I say about myself? Well I consider myself simple but others would highly disagree. I am very close to my family, even though my family is quite large. My family is also where my friends are. And my friends are also my family. I hope that makes sense. I try to be open to the world. There is so much out there to see and experience. I'd be a fool if I didn't at least try to soak it all in. I believe in treating all people equally, my grandmother taught me that. I try everyday to be an honest person. If you ask I will tell you, all you have to do is ask. And it is that being said that I stop writing. If I were to continue what would we talk about? Haha! Any ways 2500 characters aren't enough.
  • Jeffrey, 27 from Austin, TX
    27, Austin, TX
Where to start? My name's Jeffrey. My curiosity usually gets the better of me. I like what I do (lawyer), so you'll often find me reading about international law for fun. When I'm not indoors, I like to hike and camp. There's nothing so nice as the smell of fresh air, and nothing so liberating as the lack of cell phone reception. I love a party (mostly because I enjoy company and good beer), hanging out with friends, and watching a good game. My family (includes my ever growing extended family) means the world to me. I'll leave the rest for later conversations. AMDG

  • George, 39 from Round Rock, TX
    39, Round Rock, TX
A simple man, laid back. Love my faith, family, and friends. Alittle about me, my friends both male and female tell me that I'm a good man with a good heart but can be very dorky at times too lol. I have a stable job, my own apartment, my own ride and a good head on my shoulders. I enjoy the outdoors, the indoors, dancing, weekend road trips, adventures and hanging with family or friends.
  • Phil, 36 from Copperas Cove, TX
    36, Copperas Cove, TX
Hi, I'm Phil. The most important things in my life are my Catholic faith and my family. I attend Mass at least once a week, and attend daily Mass when I'm able. I'm presently discerning a vocation to the Dominican laity. I have two beautiful children of my own(a son and daughter), who are the primary source of joy in my life. I recently graduated from a technical welding course at my local college, and I own a start-up lawn care and landscaping service, in addition to being a mechanic/machinist/welder at a garden hose factory in Waco. I love it all. I can't get enough of fixing, building, and creating things of metal, and I really enjoy the feeling of exhaustion and accomplishment after a long day of hard work. I'm an imperfect man, struggling and striving for perfection. I was far less than holy during my time in the army, and refused to listen for the "whisper in the wind". Finally, God gave me the swift kick in the pants that I needed, and led me to the realization that I was on the path to Hell, unless I made drastic changes in my way of life. I'm now far more focused on achieving holiness, and less on corporal enjoyment, though I enjoy many aspects of this physical life. In my free time, you'll often catch me reading, welding, or watching either a comedy or sci fi show(probably Doctor Who or Farscape). What do I read? Excellent question! I have very eclectic tastes in books. My literary loves range from anything by Mark Twain, Homer's Iliad and The Oddyssey, nearly any sci fi novel(as long as it's tasteful. There's no need for gratuitous sex scenes), Mary Shelley's Frankenstein(if you can correctly tell me who was the monster, you get bonus points), the Old Man's War series by John Scalzi, the writings of our early church fathers(I'm currently in the middle of St.Augustine's Mystical City of God), and much more. Oh, and I'm a fiend for OLD books with the aged smell and crinkly pages.
  • Justin, 23 from Austin, TX
    23, Austin, TX
Just graduated from Baylor University in May with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology. Currently taking a gap year to take my MCAT and start Medical School applications. I absolutely love to make people laugh, and I feel that my sarcastic choice of humor coupled by slight wit gets the job done haha. I'm super passionate about living a healthy lifestyle, and I enjoy working out almost everyday. I'm also huge music buff too, I can listen to pretty much anything, but my favorite genre's are Alternative, Acoustic, and Electronic. I'm a huge concert aficionado, and I try to go to at least 1 show a month. I'm also super family oriented, I'm the oldest of 4 and consider my siblings my best friends. I'm originally from San Antonio (Go Spurs Go!), but moved to the Lake Travis area just outside of Austin 2 years ago.
