I realized that I haven't updated my profile in a while, so I put up some new pics and updated some other stuff today (11/26/2016). Let's see... I am from Caracas, Venezuela. I am a nice guy that loves a bit of everything and I am always wanting to learn more. God and my Catholic faith are a big part of my life. What else? I am a pretty playful guy, sarcastic, perfectionist, but not so much to be irritating. I am pretty traditional when it comes to family. I love mine very much. Really, I just love to hang out and have fun without being irresponsible. Un merenguito, una salsita, there's nothing better. I love to play tennis, table tennis, soccer and other stuff too... I am getting back into surfing soon (They just opened an new surf park in Austin. Looks awesome!). Still working on my start-up company and things have picked up quite a bit this last year. I am always looking to make friends with good peeps... And if something more should come about, well... That's cool too! ;)

I am an honest, trustworthy and non-judgemental person. I really enjoy music and listening to live music. I play in a local band but only play about 6 to 7 times a year. I enjoy running and like to sign up and run races in the area. I'm not very fast but it's my way of fighting age. I know age will win out eventually but worth the fight! I've been blessed with a great family and many friends and they are all a very important part of my life. I'm a very hard worker and have been at my job for over 27 years!

I am 50 years old, although I have always been told I look younger than my age. Also, I have always felt and acted younger than my age. I was recently divorced in 4/2012 after 16 years of marriage. I have an 8 yo son, who gets most of my time and attention. I am unemployed, and I am unsure if I should try another field of work. I have been a mental health counselor since 1994. I got married outside of the Catholic Church. My ex-wife was Southern Baptist and we married in the United Methodist Church. I was raised Roman Catholic and in my late 20's I was very active in my church parish. At this point in my life, I am not in a place to get in a relationship anytime soon. I need to get employed again, and get established in my own residence. As I said earlier, my 8 yo son is my main focus. I do want to make friends with other Catholics, especially females. I want to marry again someday, in the Catholic Church. I will be meeting with a priest hopefully soon, to address re-entering the Catholic Church after being away since 1995. I will also look into the annulment process.

Hello my name is Matt and I am a Catholic convert who makes lovin' Jesus fun! At Texas A&M University I was very involved in the local church and in 1997 I was elected to be one of the two leaders for the Aggie Awakening Retreat which consisted of about 500 people at the time. During my involvement with the Awakening program I was asked to give two presentations on "What is a Christian" and "The Holy Spirit". I am an elementary teacher by profession so I will never be financially rich, but I am a very wealthy man in my soul. I am an Eagle Scout and love travel and being outside. I have a good co-parenting relationship with my former wife and am extremely thankful for my children. I am open to having more children if it is God's will. The lessons I learned from being 50% responsible for my divorce have made me into an excellent future husband. I live each day by the motto, "For it is in giving that we receive"-Prayer of St. Francis. Early on it was a struggle to get my cup half full each day. Now I find it overflowing. I am not perfect but am looking for a faith filled woman with a similar mindset. Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction. May the Holy Spirit guide you in finding the other side to you. Who knows, it could be me!

I am a convert to Catholicism from being an unbaptized and non-denominational Christian. I'm passionate about my faith even if I don't show it openly and I wish to raise my future children into the faith. My supportive parents, my RCIA sponsor, and my parish priest are influential in my life as well as my experiences with friends throughout my life in high school, at Texas Tech, and at my internship with the San Diego Chargers. In my leisure time, I like to read, drive around if I can, walk, ride my bike, pray, and sit alone and think about things.

Please note that I am NOT interested in distance relationships.........not looking for correspondence / pen pal relationship. Important that you are 15 to 20 miles of 78727 zip code, I say that not to be harsh but I've received correspondence from all over the world on another site. Have had a good Catholic upbringing and brought up to be a gentleman turned out to be a gentle-man. I long to have a mate to share my faith, my love and my life. I attend Mass weekly at St. Williams in Round Rock. New here so there is more to come.

I love to have adventures, but I also like to have down time. Most of my professional life has been as an independent contractor, but after moving to Austin, I thought I would see about getting a degree. To that end, I was accepted into the University of Texas Electrical and Computer Engineering program. After one semester, one of my contracts wanted to hire me full time, so after some negotiations, I am now a part time student while working out of my house for them. It is busy, but also good to be wanted. I like to see a good show, whether that is a band, an art museum , or a musical. Adventuring and exploring are great activities for me in rural and urban settings. I have lived in a small ski town like Telluride, Co and spent my time snowboarding. I have also lived in NYC, spending my time eating sushi and hanging out with friends at smaller bars. I think fun can always be found if you look for it. I am a Texan going back on both sides of my family to, I believe, the 1800s. The current generation seems to have lost the desire to have a large family and be connected to our more rural roots, but I am willing to change that if someone wants to join me. I am close to my family, who lives in Austin and we have holidays, vacations, and general good times together.

I grew up in central Texas and have always had a passion for reading and hearing stories about adventure. The classic story lines of an individual overcoming hardship and adversity through ingenuity and hard work is something I really love because I was always told that hard work and determination tend to pay off while I was growing up. My family has been the largest influence in my life. Since I was the middle child out of the three I was fortunate enough to have an older brother as a good role model. We had enough petty arguments between the three of us to learn that being patient and flexible was always a good standard. Attending Texas A&M University for my undergraduate physics degree also helped guide me towards a friendly and welcoming demeanor. During my free time I enjoy bowling, reading, learning to bake and enjoying coffee or drinks with friends.

I enjoy staying active in my free time, but I am just as happy to marathon on Netflix of you would like to. I was raised Catholic, (son of a Deacon). I love a good laugh! I am big on communication, transparency, affection, showing appriciation, and working together through the hard times. I am looking for someone that is down to earth, sweet, and looking for the real thing. I am shy at first, but cherish it while it lasts because I'm also a bit out there.

I recently moved to Austin from Orange County California. I like to cook, it's not something I am very good at but I still enjoy experimenting with different spices and meats, finding what works and what doesn't, mostly what doesn't. Hiking is another thing that I spend my free time doing. I like walking along the Pedernales River and the streams that flow into it.
