PLEASE PRAY FOR EMERGENCY WORKERS, AND FOR ALL THOSE DISPLACED BY DISASTERS!! I consider myself a modern gentleman that enjoys hanging out with my friends. My family is very close and important to me, though I miss them terribly living halfway across the country. Faith plays an central part in my life, and try to attend Mass more than once a week. I tend to follow the old military saying "God, Family, Country, Corps". I have a strong sense of duty to serve others, and this calling I have responded to in many ways: I help young kids develop in the Civil Air Patrol cadet program, I am a member of the Knights of Columbus, and finally I work and volunteer for my local Red Cross. I now work as a Disaster Program Manager at a local chapter. On a slightly different note, I would like to mention I enjoy singing a great deal. Not a day goes by when I don't get a song stuck in my head. I am a strong baritone and I am not afraid to sing at Mass. I've even been dabbling in some Latin Schola of late. Believe it or not, I can even dance pretty well, from Swing to Salsa. I have had a dearth of partners lately and would love to meet new people to dance with. As for my character itself, I am the first to admit that I have flaws, but what is life but a joyous struggle to deal with these flaws and become more Christ-Like. I believe that secularization of "love" is one of the biggest challenges we face as Catholics today. To better prepare ourselves, we need to read and study Theology of the Body by Pope JPII. Christopher West does an awesome presentation on this for anyone who is interested, just google it. Studying and understanding our faith is incredibly important as that is the only way we are going to move people past a superficial view of it. Once they learn how deep and engaging it is, they can't help but be drawn to it.OK, enough rambling from me. If youre interested in more info, just ask.

Retired school teacher (second career); was in banking for many years before that. Decided to retire and enjoy life. I like plays, concerts, auctions, spontaneous traveling, weekend adventures, garage sales, fishing. Seems like I am always working on a project or two. My faith is very important to me. I feel that I am a easy to get along with type person. A bit on the quiet side until I get to know you. I can enjoy a night going to a concert or play but also at home on a cold winter night sipping a glass of wine in front of a fireplace talking on any subject with someone I want to be with for a lifetime.

I am a very happy, well rounded person who is easy going and enthusiastic, treasuring every moment of life. I value honesty and truthfulness. Life is about the discovery and the unexpected, it should be a fun adventure. I am looking for a woman to share interests with, like traveling. I enjoy dining, movies, concerts, museums, wine tastings, and special events like fairs. I also like watching sports football, baseball, golf, and basketball in person; but. TV is OK too. I like to bowl and have played some golf, and I like to work out. As for musical tastes, I like Lite Jazz, 60's oldies, and some country along with easy listening contemporary. Thank You for taking the time to read my profile.

I live on five acres. My parents and I own a blue healer puppy along with a registered quarter horse that I own. My quarter horse is a retired team roping horse. Team roping is a major hobby for me. I also love spending time with friends and family. Sometimes we might saddle up the horses or we might cook some steaks on the grill and watch the game. I love learning more about my faith though. My faith has always been a top priority.

Howdy, how are y'all doin? With that first sentence in mind, I have 223 credit hours accompanied by a B.B.A in International Business with an accreditation that less than 5% of the colleges on this entire planet offer. I know where I come from, and I am entirely opposed to ethnocentric behavior. I grew up in the Navy mostly, parents are retired officers. But, I have been a Texan my whole life. Lived at all four points, but never left the continent except for the seven years Daddy was stationed in Hawaii (parents divorced when I was three). It was like really ruff and everything, but I have forgiven him. Was blessed to spend 14 months of my life there. I have a home on a farm, longest I've ever lived anywhere. I am an owner/operator of a residential tree service. Not exactly what I had in mind when I acquired my degree. Actually went to school, so I didn't have to work this hard. Like to do my own thing. I used to be good at stuff like skateboarding (still keep one) surfing (always shopping for my next board purchase; and I really like seafood), and snow skiing (just rent depending on my mood; former member NSP); but I am hardly good at it anymore as we predominantly have red clay in the piney woods of deep east Texas. Met a few fakes on here so I am pretty skeptical, but I am not concerned about the site. If you are fake, do not waste our time. Easy to figure out and I will report you. I renew my membership off and on. If you are serious you'll match me emitogram for emitogram. That's enough for now.

I am passionate about Engineering and Art. I am in the process of learning more about the teachings of the church. Have taught Faith Formation classes, but unfortunately had to stop due to school. Looking forward to meet someone who will follow me on the Lord's path.

I am passionate about The Church, and helping other people at all times. First degree Knight of Columbus, and a Catechist (I teach first communion to the youth). I play piano, guitar, and sing. I love old school metal, but many other genres as well. I work part time, on a freight receiving team. I'm going back to college this fall. In my leisure time, I am an avid musician, reader, gamer, and fine tobacco aficionado (pipes). Just signed up to take Krav Maga at a local dojo. I don't drink alcohol at all. The most influential individuals in my life have been teachers, mentors, and deacons/rcia directors. I hope to enter seminary and the deaconate after college.
