34, Richardson, TXA college student who's trying out this online thing more for kicks and giggles than anything else... I've been at my particular university for 4 years, and it being a private Catholic institution, there isn't a whole lot of girls here I don't know- and I wouldn't want to have a relationship with very many of them at all- That and the fact that most of the good picks are engaged by now. Tried to date someone here several times and discovered that a relationship in such a small community is not the greatest of ideas, unless both parties are particularly mature and don't really care what other people say about them. A recent update (as of May 2004): I will be shipping of to the Army to do four years of communications work in July. I leave July 20th, and BTC, or boot camp, starts approximately 10 days later. This decision came partly because I have always wanted to join the service, and partly because the Financial Aid Office at University of Dallas- the school I attended- decided in my 4th year that I was not the type of person they wanted attending UD, and refused to process any financial aid in my behalf. In my defense, I must say that it is only this office that does not wish my return. Most of my professors and the rest of the administration know me by name and are sad to see me leave prematurely. A more recent update: (December 2004) I am currently in the army, having survived boot camp and half of my job training (I return to Ft. Gordon, GA on the 2nd of January 2005 to resume my training, which will last until the middle of June). What can I say about my life right now? It's completely different... nothing could have adequately prepared me for life in the army. I'm still not entirely sure that I will adapt to life in the military... Sadly enough, people in uniform routinely prove to be much less trustworthy or companionable than those who are not- and when you are in such an occupation as I, those two things are of vital importance. If the army does not work out for me, I will undoubtedly look for some other similar service (FBI, Police force) to join. I know my life will always be about protecting others, and that I never feel more fulfilled than when working for the public good; I just haven't figured out the detain yet. They say that is where God resides.

33, Richardson, TXHello there interwebs! My name is Richard and this is the first time I've tried the online thing. So go easy on me ;) I have lived in Dallas for just over 5 years now and have done virtually everything. There are some things we can probably agree on and do numerous times, and others I'll stay away from. :) I enjoy the outdoors and am very active! I work out and run nearly all week when I'm not working on my house or travelling for work! The travel aspect has gotten in the way of past relationships and hopefully I can meet someone tolerant of it. I am gone nearly 3-5 days a week as of late, but I can let loose when in town and you get to know me! I'm fun, but sometimes can say the wrong thing, I mean "mean" the wrong thing. It's all how you interpret things. :) Anyway. If you would like to know more, i would like to meet you, let me know! I just will not do the typical Dallas thing and make bed buddies! So, be classy and show me what you really want, in life and relationships! :)
31, Richardson, TXHi there! First and foremost, God has been a HUGE part of my life. It has taken a while for me to understand this, but I have been in love ever since! I am passionate about my work and family which fortunately too live in the same city as I do. It is them that highly direct my actions and to what I hope to be virtue. I often keep my small tent in the back of my car just in case I feel an urge to prepare a spur the moment campout trip. I enjoy listening to people's stories and where life has led them. As you can tell, I love anything outdoors including running, parks, and getting lost in the wilderness.....by wilderness I mean your local park.

And sentence fragments. Terrible sense of direction, good sense for people. Finance professional secretly wishing to be a theologian. Valuer of honesty, humility, zeal, and prudence. Let's talk!
