I am a recent widower. Five of my six kids live in Houston. I have a married daughter who lives in NYC. I have no plans to relocate from Houston. I am seeking a Catholic lady who is fit physically, psychologically and spiritually. I attend Mass weekly, it helps keep me grounded. I am retired after a successful career in Finance. Although not a gym rat, I enjoy working out and keeping in shape. I am health conscious watching my diet, etc. I enjoy travel having taken my family all over the US. In the last few years I have been to Amsterdam, Rome(Vatican City) Greece and the Greek Isles. I enjoy museums and seeing the Acropolis and the Colosseum were real treats. Just recently returned from a month in Europe which included revisiting Amsterdam and Rome in addition to new venues in Germany along the Rhine, Rothenburg, Austria, Italy(Venice, Florence and Cinque Terre), Switzerland, France.....took the Eurostar from Paris to London. Had a great time.

Being Catholic and trying to live within the teaching of the church. I like to attend mass on a daily basis. I also belong to several bible classes. Having been the lost sheep for approx. 20 years, I have been most impressed by the welcoming arms of our pastor. (God told me where to find him). The parish is very busy with different ministeries, witch I have been welcomed. My leisure time is used spending time with my family( 2 sons 2 daughter-in-laws and 4 grand children (3 college, 1 high school). I also enjoy fishing, shooting pool, reading, cooking, and playing with my dauchhund. god knew

I am a simple old-school down to earth, sincere and loyal person that is looking for an honest woman who enjoys being treated like a lady. I am employed full time and enjoy what I do, I have two teenage boys that spend every other week end with me and two grown up daughters that live on their own. I enjoy the outdoors, the beach, travel and family gatherings. I am shy at first but will open up once I get to know the person. I want some one to share what life has to offer.

I have had 2 entire careers and now retirement allows me to focus on the one dearest to my heart which is dance. I now give back what was given to me through my involvement with my church's concerts, summer arts camps, and I also teach dance locally here in Austin. But that is the tip of the iceberg. I love the outdoors, hiking, camping (my favorite restaurant is a campfire), hunting and fishing, gardening, spending time in my garage/shop, and, oh yes, riding my iron horse "Big Red". Not much of a joiner but I don't think of myself as a loner either. I enjoy socializing and used to have friends over regularly. Since coming to Texas I am still working on that. I have traveled to several countries at various times but I love the US and Canada. I have a huge respect for those that pioneered our country which some might find over the top. There are so many things that were known then that I would like to learn now. I think of myself as conservative but have friends of every stripe and persuasion. I like sharing my interests and like when others share with me. I would like to find a politically conservative, catholic woman who likes dogs and would like to start a friendship and see where it leads.

I am passionate for education, especially financial education, and healthy lifestyles. Looking back, I am grateful for the good influences of my parents, teachers, friends and work associates. I have been richly blessed to have had consistent and meaningful employment in productive environments. For leisure I do a fair bit of bicycle riding and look forward for opportunities to experience the outdoors.

I returned to my faith after some years of being away and in that time I have found that we all are not perfect and we have differences and communication is one of the things needed for a relationship. As for my faith it is now a number one in my list of priorities in my life, and now I hope to be able to find someone to share my life with someone else that has the same priorities as do I, I realized that with all things required some amount of effort and with time if a relationship is suposed to be, it will.

Three questions are asked: 1.) What are you passionate about? I am passionate about my Family, my Friends, my Parish Ministries, and my Faith. These four elements of my life are the reason that I get up in the morning. In giving of myself to any of these I am so blessed. 2.) What experiences and/or people have been the most influential in your life? I have a whole litany of people that have touched my life. Many of them have already joined our Savior in Heaven. Of course, my Parents and Grandparents, Dick Johnson (Religious Education Director), Father Skip, Carolyn Perry (English Teacher), my Brother Henry, and so many more. I have been blessed with amazing family and friends. As to events, the Christ Renews His Parish Retreat, the ACTS Retreat, being a Knight of Columbus, facilitating Divorce Care, teaming for RCIA, being a CCE Teacher, and spending nine years at Baylor University getting a B.S. Degree in Biology. 3.) What do you enjoy doing with your leisure time? I love to read, watch movies, try to do home repairs, woodworking projects, spend time with family and friends (this is the most rewarding leisure time event), maybe even grow something...I have started liking plants.

I am retired, a widower and in excellent health. I enjoy reading, watching sports, doing Sudoku puzzles and trying new things. I recently began taking golf lessons, and even though it is a frustrating sport, I enjoy being outside and meeting the challenges of the sport. I like going to movies, the theater and different types of museums. Eating out, trying new restaurants and travel are also favorite things to do. I am looking for someone to share life and every day experiences. If you like travel, dining out, the theater and the finer things in life, I would like to meet you. "
