53, Austin, TXI have never been married, and desire a woman preferably of white, hispanic, or oriental origin, who wishes to have children and has also never been married. Age is not so important. I have a strong belief in God and the Church. I was brought up in an old-fashioned way and I try to live my life by the same values. I am very serious about my faith and I refuse to accept anything other than a devout, God-fearing, pro-life, church-going Catholic for a spouse.I may sound too serious for most people but I am not looking to compromise my principles here, I am looking for a lifetime partner so I am not looking for "most people", only ONE. I pretty much follow the teachings of the church to the letter. As a matter of fact, in some cases I am probablly more strict than the Church is! I would love to see the Church go back to the communion rail. I do not like "communion in the hand", I take it straight from the priest in my mouth. I do not like it when people disrespect the priest and the Church by leaving church after communion and BEFORE the recessional. I do not sit down after communion until the Blessed Sacrament is placed either behind the altar, or in THE TABERNACLE! I go to confession. I really hate it, but the Lord's Will is more important than My Privacy! Even though I still hold onto the old ways I do not condemn those who do not practice their religion as rigorously as I. I believe that as a husband, I should lead by example. I will not FORCE my strict Catholic views on my wife and family as I believe that the expression of one's true faith cannot be forced! However, I will "strongly encourage" my beliefs upon them. I believe that I am a warm and reasonable person but I definitely need a woman's counsel to fully understand some situtations before making any important life long decisions.
45, Copperas Cove, TXI remain a very happy man and going through the crests and troughs of life but maintaining a very positive attitude; keep in touch, if you would like to be friends. My attitude towards life is generally maintaining a positive attitude not being swayed peoples opinions. I am a man of my own thoughts, guided by the principles taught to me by the Catholic Church. I am glad to say I am very proud to be a Catholic of the Latin Rite.
60, Midland, TXI love life to the fullest I believe very faithfully in my religion I work a lot and sometimes don't have much time but find time. I don't think I'm a handsome man just average I don't have much but what I do have is mine because I can't take anything with me when My Lord calls me home. I am very spontanous I might get up on the weekend and take off to San Antonio or who knows, I might take off fishing or to a flea market just never know.
24, Irving, TXI'm a graduate student, studying for my M.A. in Theology. After Masters work, I hope to go on to get my Ph.D. I love being with friends and family. Strong relationships are very important to me. I like both watching and playing sports, and spending time with close friends! The study of Theology is my passion, no matter how nerdy that sounds. My Catholic faith is incredibly important to me, and a great treasure that I'm learning to appreciate more and more each day.
19, North Richland Hills, TXHowdy! I look forward to the day where all of the big questions in my life have been answered. I have had many hobbies, some of the things I've done: martial arts, writing, drawing, jewelry making and guitar.
30, Allen, TXHello my potential Catholic Matches! I'm Eric. And truth be told, I have never particularly enjoyed talking about myself, although, that might come as a bit of a shock to my friends. I consider myself to be a hard-working, ambitious, and clever guy. For a lot of my life I have been a rather introverted person who doesn't like to go out and try new things. Maybe it was due to my sheltered, home-schooled, upbringing. You know, homeschoolers never get any kind of socialization! ;) However, as of the past few years, I have found that I've really started to branch out and become more outgoing and extroverted. A few years ago I even went skydiving, spelunking, and bungee jumping. So apparently I traded in my introvertedness for some sort of daredevil behavior. I am always willing to try new things. I'm a big fan of camping and hiking, and I love to trail ride on my mountain bike. There are still some of my earlier tendencies still lingering in me, though. For instance, I really don't care for clubs. Really loud bars aren't my favorite either. Given the option to go out on the town or stay in with a movie, I'd most likely pick to stay in. However, everything in moderation! Gotta mix things up sometimes! I find myself to be humorous and have always had the ability to make myself laugh...although not necessarily other people. Regardless, I take solace in the old proverb: "Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused." That definitely applies to me! I can be sarcastic on occasion, almost to a fault, although never mean spirited, only in good fun.
46, Hereford, TXI'm passionate about my Catholic Faith. I'm a Knight's of Columbus and I work for the Roman Catholic Diocese in the City of Amarillo. The coolest part of working at the Pastoral Center is being able to attend Mass every single Friday. I enjoy smoking cigars, drinking dark beers and good bourbon. I really love my DRY RED WINE (Seven Zins to be exact)....I also really like to play golf with my KC Brothers. I read a book a month. Everything from Scott Hahn to Harold Burke to Dan Brown and Stephen King or JK Rowling...I love it all.
26, San Antonio, TXI enjoy reading, writing, debating, intelligent conversation, training martial arts and gardening. I enjoy reading Italian and Spanish poetry, Catholic theology and literature from antiquity to the 20th century. Love discussing history, and I LOVE to cook from all sorts of cuisine: oriental, Italian, Spanish, Mediterranean ... cooking is one of my great passions.
36, Copperas Cove, TXHi, I'm Phil. The most important things in my life are my Catholic faith and my family. I attend Mass at least once a week, and attend daily Mass when I'm able. I'm presently discerning a vocation to the Dominican laity. I have two beautiful children of my own(a son and daughter), who are the primary source of joy in my life. I recently graduated from a technical welding course at my local college, and I own a start-up lawn care and landscaping service, in addition to being a mechanic/machinist/welder at a garden hose factory in Waco. I love it all. I can't get enough of fixing, building, and creating things of metal, and I really enjoy the feeling of exhaustion and accomplishment after a long day of hard work. I'm an imperfect man, struggling and striving for perfection. I was far less than holy during my time in the army, and refused to listen for the "whisper in the wind". Finally, God gave me the swift kick in the pants that I needed, and led me to the realization that I was on the path to Hell, unless I made drastic changes in my way of life. I'm now far more focused on achieving holiness, and less on corporal enjoyment, though I enjoy many aspects of this physical life. In my free time, you'll often catch me reading, welding, or watching either a comedy or sci fi show(probably Doctor Who or Farscape). What do I read? Excellent question! I have very eclectic tastes in books. My literary loves range from anything by Mark Twain, Homer's Iliad and The Oddyssey, nearly any sci fi novel(as long as it's tasteful. There's no need for gratuitous sex scenes), Mary Shelley's Frankenstein(if you can correctly tell me who was the monster, you get bonus points), the Old Man's War series by John Scalzi, the writings of our early church fathers(I'm currently in the middle of St.Augustine's Mystical City of God), and much more. Oh, and I'm a fiend for OLD books with the aged smell and crinkly pages.
28, San Antonio, TXHi I'm David, I just graduated from UTSA with my Bachelors in Civil Engineering. While in college I become very passionate about the Sanctity of Life from the moment of fertilization to natural death. Now that I'm out of school I'm looking to explore life and see what the Lord will place before me. I've been a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 5years. I've done teen ministry in the past and want to find a parish were I can aid younger members of our faith to grow and seek God as the enter the college scene where I feel a lot of people lose sight of Christ. I've been a cradle Catholic all my life, I have grown closer to Christ and his purpose for me as I've been discerning my vocation for 6years now. I feel a calling to something in Life, Marriage is a vocation and I'm very excited to see where God leads me now that I've graduated college, I'm seeking new adventures and I'd love to have someone to share this exciting life with. So if you'd like to share and meet up, let me know.
34, Katy, TXI've lived in Houston for all except three years where I lived in Colorado. I like the warmth of both Texas and of home. With my life going, I long for a woman by my side to share it with. I currently work in HR, fielding questions about employee benefits (health insurance, paid time off< etc) I live close to one parent, a sister and my nephew. I reverted back to the faith after taking a serious look at my life and seeing how empty it was. Now someone would be hard pressed to find a bigger advocate for the Faith. I attended the University of St Thomas in Houston and was once part of the same group as Cardinal Daniel DiNardo. I've attended several different Mass forms, and I fell the most in love with the Tridentine Mass as celebrated by the FSSP. (though I will not object to going to the current Mass form, and I'm not the sedevacantist type). I'm looking for a woman who has never been married, has no kids, is close to her family and who wants a man in her life to help her come close to God.
27, Bryan, TXI enjoy pursuing the truth however it manifests itself, and I also enjoy teaching that truth to others. Because of this I often study of theology, philosophy, mathematics, etc. I am most at home when I am reading or intellectual discussions with others. I also love music and playing games. Also, I love to laugh and to make others laugh.
