    I am a cradle Cathoic from Montana. I am not looking for a relationship yet. I have been divorced for over twenty years. I am still working on an annulment. I am looking for a companion for dinner, a movie, play, concert or museum trips. I am involved in Church and sometimes go to the Tridentine Mass - which I used to serve as an altar boy. My youngest son calls it "old school" Mass. I still say grace before meals and bow my head at the Holy Name of Jesus. My two sons are grown. However they know that I am there for them. My youngest son got married about three years ago and I really like his wife. They had my first grandchild. He is so cute! They moved in with me last year. I am a single father and I think that, with God's help, I have done a good job in raising them. I am proud of both of them. They have good jobs and are doing well. However they both have left the Church. So I am in "St Monica" mode and praying them back in! In March of 2015 I will become a first time grandparent. I am really looking forward to that. And I will admit to wearing my heart of my sleeve.I love to cook. I am funny and fun to be with. I like to make puns which my youngest son called "dad jokes." I have been involved in the Church. At St Thomas Aquinas Parish in Sugarland I worked with the RCIA for three years as a sponsor and teacher. I was appointed as facilitator for the next three years . After moving to Round Rock I have been involved in the RCIA as a sponsor at St William parish. I belonged to the 9:30 choir for nine years at St Elizabeth of Hungary in Pflugerville. I was a guitar player and the "choir dad." I belong the Knights of Columbus (4th Degree) at St John Vianney parish in Round Rock and serve as an Usher there at the 8:00 Sunday Mass. Since I have retired I am now more involved with my Church. I attend daily Mass. I am a Sidewalk Counselor for 40 Days for Life and a substitute RE teacher in my parish. I am trying to make good use of the gifts that God has given me. As a Knight I am involved with the Lenten Fish Fry and our annual Vianney Fest every fall. After all, we are our Pastor's right arm. I had planned to sell my house in a year or two, however I just found out that I will be a first-time grandfather in March of 2015. I was going to move back to MY Montana but I will stay here for several more years to do the grandfather thing: spoiling the child and then giving it back to his parents!

  • Rey, 25 from San Antonio, TX
    {%action_menu%}
    25, San Antonio, TX
    My name is Rey. I'm 25 years-old and, admittedly, I am still trying to work things out. I studied Philosophy for a few years at the University of Texas at San Antonio. The plan was to go to grad school for theology, but things change. I stopped taking classes a few years ago. I'm currently working on getting back to school to finish and start teaching. I tried running away from teaching as a profession so I could get rich doing something else (anything else?), but I've come to realize what most people who know me have been saying for years: I'm really good at teaching. It comes naturally to me and I love it. I guess I'll just have to marry rich. I've worked in youth ministry since 2010. I started at the parish where I grew up. It was a wild ride. I started the job as a nineteen year-old who probably shouldn't have been doing it. I grew so much as a person, as a Catholic, and as a teacher during my time there. That gig ended in 2015. I spent some time working elsewhere teaching music, working in a library, and selling guns. I couldn't stay away from parish life too long though and this past February I accepted a job working at Saint Louis parish in Castroville. Things are different out there, but I'm learning how to work in that community and I'm excited for the future. I'm a musician. I play in a band and I do solo gigs. People tell me I'm a "singer/songwriter," but I feel like that sounds pretentious. I write mostly about love and G-d because those are the only things interesting enough for me to write about. My favorite band is Rush. If you're a Rush fan I just need your ring size and your father's phone number. I'm a little chubby, sorry. I am working on it. I love dogs.

    I'm looking for someone who can me make better. I do exercise regularly and try to live a healthier lifestyle even though I enjoy food. I've been in Houston for a little over a year and studying cyber security and doing a MBA course via distance learning with a Canadian University. Ultimately I want to travel the world and working from anywhere with Internet connection. Trying to be a lifestyle entrepreneur. I'm of European and Asian ancestry and my family has been Catholics for a few generations. I love travelling and trying new types of cuisine. Sometimes I prepare my own food after watching videos on Youtube. I would like to meet someone who shares the same passion with me. Get to know me first before you decide to say no :).

    We learn through the experiences we go through in life, whether they are good or bad, we can become a better person. Life is very fragile and we don't know when our time is up so I make the most out of each day. Spending time with family and friends is very important to me. The woman I'm on search of is faithful, loving, kind, smart, witty, and loves the Cowboys:)
  • Austen, 19 from Greenville, TX
    {%action_menu%}
    19, Greenville, TX
    My name is Austen, and I am a 19 year-old Texan Catholic. To me, being part of this online community means discerning my vocation seriously, and I pray that God will lead you and I to where we both need to be! To start, I see myself as a sort of blank slate when it comes to things like relationships. I have never dated before, so I suppose that means that I don't have emotional baggage from other relationships to throw at people at random intervals. Still, I'm new to this, so I hope you don't mind if I carry around a list of questions and maybe a teleprompter should we meet some time. Just kidding. Teleprompters are expensive. In any case, I should let you know beforehand that I consider myself a history and political nerd. I love reading books, although I'm a slow reader. I especially love reading about the founding and frontier generations of the United States, the history of the State of Texas, and the industrial revolution era ruled by individuals like Rockefeller and Carnegie. Politically speaking, I am a Conservative Libertarian firmly in the Ron Paul camp. I could talk your ears off about the inefficiencies of the levels of government as they currently stand, and I love to hear about Free market solutions to hard problems. To put it simply, I believe the proper role of government is to protect life, liberty and property without infringing on those same rights as much as possible. My biggest heroes in life are my God, my father, and my priest. God is always there for me during both the great and sorrowful times of my life. My belief in Him is something gained through personal struggles, and I hope to spend eternity with Him in Heaven. My Dad has always had my back, and has always been ready and willing to listen and to guide me. My priest is very outspoken about the Catholic faith, including those parts in our Traditions that are controversial. He is incredibly Pro-Life and Pro-Family, and he always performs Mass in a reverent and fitting way. Apart from reading, I also love listening to music (Lindsey Stirling is awesome), learning from podcasts, playing a video game or two, writing, and taking quiet walks whenever I have time. Thank you so much for reading though all of this and God Bless! Austen
