27, Manchester, GBHey there! I'm Jon - nice to meet you! Ah, I know what you're thinking, and, no, I'm afraid I'm neither a croupier nor a secret agent (just lost a bet at work today and thought it'd make for an interesting picture!) Introduce myself? Well, let's see... Alright, I'm 27 years old, Manchester born-and-bred, and was received into the Church about five years ago whilst a student in Liverpool as the only convert in a non-religious family (a very long story which I think I'll save for our first meeting!); to say it's the most wonderful decision I could ever have made is an understatement, and, although the subject still leads to some, ahem, extremely interesting conversations, I know my family would love nothing more than for me to meet someone who shares the most important thing in my life. I've a wide variety of much-loved hobbies and interests apart from deepening my faith (literature, politics, poetry, languages, running, classic TV series, cinema, music, football, etc., etc.!) but am always ready to try new things too so please don't be shy if you've an original first-date idea!
48, Nurnberger Land, DESingle American Traditional Catholic living in Germany is looking for a Traditional Catholic Lady. My favored hobbies are reading books, listening to music and travel.
19, Metairie, LAMy name is Jared, and I am extremely passionate about liturgical music. I am an organist and cantor at several local churches, and I am also a parish and high school choir director. I also am a high school catechist. Mother church and her teaching are a huge part of my life as a member of the body of Christ. I am studying to acquire a major in theology, and I plan to be a high school religion teacher.
27, Newbury, GBMancunian by birth, a francophile by choice and Catholic by conviction. I am very sanguine and happiest when deep in conversation... it normally doesn't matter what the subject is so long as it's interesting. Travel has been and is a big part of my life and my faith and I've been to Australia, India and most of Western Europe so far. The eldest of 6, I went to a traditional Catholic boarding school before studying, working for the military and later in business as an investigator. University proved something of a crucible where ideas and beliefs were challenged and tested. Hopefully, I came out the other side a fairly well rounded individual but as the future 'Miss Right', you must be the judge of that! ;)
22, Geneva, CHAbout me: I'd describe myself as a fairly conservative, traditional person. I enjoy the traditional latin mass more than anything--it's what brought me to Catholicism! I find a lot of joy in a Church community, and in Christ centered friendships and relationships. My friends describe me as "bookish," and I'd say the description is accurate; I'm a naturally curious person. Due to my intrinsic curiosity, I am fairly talkative with people I just met; I like getting to know people, so be aware of that (haha). I love exploring and being outdoors. That's a very important of aspect in my life. Traveling, hiking and climbing consume huge parts of my free time. Academics are also very important to me: I have high hopes for my future and I take preparation for it very seriously. School & Stuff: I'm currently a student at The College of William and Mary in the United States, where I'm a mathematics major with minors in history and finance. (I'm taking a semester off to practice my french living abroad with my aunt in Geneva for a few months.) Please feel free to shoot me a message, even if it's just for chatting! I love talking to people. I also prefer getting to know somebody more than I do typing info in a description box.
62, St Marys, KSMild-mannered; affectionate; passionate - and especially so about the Latin Mass. I enjoy: dining out and being a gentleman to a lady, holding doors and hands, museums, antique window shopping and setting on the porch in the evening. Christmas movies are a favorite, as are good suspense movies. I love the outdoors and the cool Fall season...my open windows let it all in - Thank God for sweaters! Walking while saying the Rosary is a favorite spiritual sport. I'm a believer in unconditional forgiveness and non-reciprocal love as Christ preached and gave us example, especially from His Cross. I do my best to live each day as Our Lord reveals it to me. I say the Rosary daily and have done St. Louis de Montfort's Consecration to Our Lady and do my best to live its ideals. Daily Mass is my so-far unrealized ideal, but most always you'll find me there each Saturday to start the weekend off right. My checkbook balances each month; I am able to save weekly and tend to stay on budget (most of the time, anyway!) I don't mind leading the Rosary, making hard decisions or apologizing for my mistakes. I try and stay fit, so I walk a lot, both during work and after. My High School Senior son is big on health and exercise, so cooking and feeding him (and me) the right foods is always a challenge. I try to follow a low carb/meat diet as much as possible. I'm no vegetarian, but I do enjoy a good salad... My eldest son also lives in Kansas; the other kids live in Texas. Don't let the tribe scare you...all but one are over 18 and lead their own lives. I'm a blogger...It's small, but does have readers worldwide. Family Genealogy research is also a favorite pastime. My Dad's English ancestor came to Virginia in the late 1700's; My Mom's Fraternal German ancestors and my Dad's Maternal ancestors both originated in Western and Southern Germany.
26, Mt Vernon, VAI'm a full time graduate student, pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology, with a special focus on cognitive assessment. When I'm not plugging away at my dissertation or working at a psychiatric hospital, I enjoy spending time with my friends, playing guitar, and reading. I'm an introvert, in the sense that I find parties and group activities tiring; but, I've recently determined to develope my sociability. So far so good ;) .
18, Maple Valley, WAIf you're reading this far, then I guess I've passed the hardest test--getting someone's attention. Good so far. I want to get the most out of my life and believe that can't happen until I find a person to share it with. I come from a family of eight, and have one younger brother. My parents have been hands down the greatest influence in my life. Their unwavering dedication, sacrifices and all that they have done for me and my siblings never cease to impress me and bear witness to their real love for us. I enjoy the natural environment, going on hikes and adventures, Spanish and exercise (although I'm not super fit). I just graduated from high school in June and am attending a local college.
22, Phoenix, AZI'm passionate when it comes to personal fitness and my family. Regarding personal fitness side of things, I feel that it's important for a healthy mind to have a healthy body to go with it. Now I'm not a person who is pushy when it comes to others going to the gym and I don't go to the gym every day of the week. I do it a few times a week to help keep my body and mind disciplined and healthy. On the family side, I'm number four out of eight children. My family means everything to me, and I spend the majority of my free time with them. Along with my faith they're the most important things in my life. I'm currently attending a community college to get my basic classes out of the way then I will be transferring to a university to get a bachelors degree in economics with a minor in political science. I plan on going to law school to become a lawyer. In which field of law I don't know yet. I'm politically aware in the sense that I like to keep myself informed about the goings on of our political (circus) sphere. I find it all fascinating and yet frustrating. On the faith side of things, it's the single most important thing in my life. I go to Mass every single Sunday. If it wasn't for my faith, my life would seem meaningless. I'm a firm believer that with God anything is possible. If you're interested in talking with me feel free to message me. I'm a little shy at first, but once I get to know you, I'm more outgoing. I like to joke around and have a good time. I'm laid back and I try my best to be as accommodating and considerate as possible. I look forward to speaking with you and getting to know you.
