Hi, thank you for reading my profile. its very hard to describe oneself in a few words in a profile like this. I'm quite a shy person until you get to know me. My most obvious characteristic is my sense of humour and ability to make people laugh. I am very honest, sincere and dependable (how my friends describe me), and can be very easygoing and laid back. Many of my friends look to me for support and advice and I always like to help whenever I can. OK what am I looking for? that's much easier to answer. I am looking for someone to share my life and faith with. Its important to build relationships slowly and base them on trust, so that we both can truly share everything. Starting off as friends is a good start, as even friendships are treasured.

I'm passionate about travel and seeing different countries during the summer. My parents have been the most influential in my life and travelling to some countries in the past has also been of great interest and experience. I enjoy going to the gym during the week and cycling a little when the weather I good, I also enjoy singing when the need arises and communicating with people. I'm also a fairly confident person when talking to people on various topics.

I had a sad break-up ten years ago in Canada. I have two adult daughters with two different women. Zoe (25) lives and works in Vancouver, BC. Ally (21), is a 'professional' student - Canada. I am 52 and at wished wished i felt my age. As a child the church was prominent in my life. Our parish was blessed with super-duper folks. Father Barry was a young father who introduced an insight to into faith. A visiting missonary gave a series of talks to various groups which recounted his ordeal or incarceration in Asia as a result of his faith. His humble missive is titled Darkness into Light, and it touched me deeply at a tender age. A TV tele-drama was also airing at the time, it was titled 'Jesus of Nazareth.' I was convinced I'd the black. Well... Faith is clearly a deeply personal life experience, it is a relationship. In my experience relationships are an organic entity. I attended an all boys Catholic school in SE London. This was a very sticking time. Father Barry booked, he fell in love and married his lady. I was furious, I was delighted for him and could understand his motivations (he was the best), I was furious because I was/am a selfish soul. St. Austins was in a word - the best of times, it was the worst times. In the middle of third year we emigrated to Canada. Our family attended a new church in Niagara Falls, ON. Things were never the same ... how much to folks waffle here ?? School is great, the essence of life is understanding and I respect the tenets of a philosophy and learning. I find it difficult to subscribe to dogma of the church, women issues, accountability etc. However, the church and faith provides an opportunity to reflect how fortunate we are, and how small and inconsequential we are are.
