Omnia vincit amor, et nos cedamus amori! I'm vivacious, charismatic, gentle, polite, sensual, soulful, romantic, passionate, disciplined, elegant, witty with a hint of sarcasm but nothing too outrageous and rather laid back at times. I am very Victorian in my ways. I have a GSOH with a diverse personality and love a good laugh and a joke. I'm a private person and like to keep my own counsel. I'm in very good health and physical condition, the constitution of an ox and the spirit of a horse! I'm passionate about life and have enormous zest for it. As a very young child I was a gifted pianist with an extraordinary talent. I love classical and appreciate most kinds of music providing it's not of a degenerate source. I bear the traits of a typical Libran; well-balanced, even-tempered, sincere, logical, sometimes unforgiving and indecisive, hate crowds and absolutely adore beautiful things. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I attend Mass every Sunday (every day in Lent and Advent) and Vespers & Solemn Benediction. I serve the Tridentine Mass on Saturdays and attend SSPX some Sundays and somtimes 'Novus Ordo Missae' at the Oratory at the solemn Latin. I do not approve of the Vatican II with its loose reforms, modernism, and liberal errors. England is one of the most beautiful countries; boasting her ancient castles, elegant stately homes, cathedrals, winding coastline, beautiful national parks and a proud history dating back at least some 5,000 years including a wonderful Royal Household of 1200 years and fine nobility of the landed gentry - oh and not forgetting Eire too! I like nature and simplicity of the finer things of life, I adore beautiful flowers and I love animals esp dogs. I would like to take romantic strolls in the park and on the beach. I loathe abortion, contraception, drugs, freemasonary, communism, the protestant Reformation of England. I do not accept the modern evil world we live in. England/UK has become very paganite. I pray for Our Lord Jesus Christ (who is the most beautiful, loving, courageous, forgiving and extraordinary Man that ever lived) to return to us once again and bring love, peace and tranquility in this very unsettling imperfect world and put a stop to so much fighting, political and religious conflicts that cause unecessary wars and unrest. Contrary to popular belief, leading theologians and historians say that Christ will return in circa 2000 AD? If that's the case, I hope it will be in my lifetime.

I'm a fairly relaxed kind of guy and yet I do really like to be challenged, intellectually and physically. I enjoy a range of activities from playing sports such as football or skiing, to reading classical literature and playing the guitar. Am fascinated by theology and philosophy. Catholic faith is important to me.

I finished my law degree a few years ago, and decided I didn't want to be a Lawyer. I now work as an improvement Manager in a major teaching hospital on the South Coast and love it! Used to work in a London children's hospital. I've been a Catholic all my life, and have served on the altar since I was 8, and my faith has always been very important to me. I'd love to meet someone who shares my faith and interests. I like to think I'm quite a fun person; I love going out and trying new things. I love acting and singing (even if I'm not the best at it) and really enjoy reading. I also like staying in and watching films (RomComs are a guilty pleasure of mine). I'm up for meeting and getting to know new people, so if you feel like it, send me a message and we can have a chat! If you don't live in the UK that's OK, I love writing letters (getting post is always nice) and you can never have too many pen pals!

Pronouncing my name is probably an exercise in phonetic gymnastics (we should include this in the Olympics!): you can either say "Bah-bah-toon-day" or "Bah-bah-toon-dee". Most people simply refer to me as "Baba" and I hope that sounds easy enough! I was born in London and have lived in the UK my entire life. I am extremely opinionated, particularly when it comes to politics, and my passion encompasses travelling, reading, watching the news and programming. English is my native language but I can also speak German, Portuguese and Spanish and I know basic Mandarin Chinese and Polish. If German, Portuguese or Spanish is your native language, I would be more than delighted to speak to you in that! Many would say I work extremely hard and I have a good sense of wit. I am introverted but I can be outwardly assertive when necessity demands it.

In a nutshell I am a lover of languages and the eldest of six. I studied French at university, work for a large German organisation and have a military background. Despite pretty strong conservative Catholic opinions I am fun-loving and seldom let differences get in the way of a rib-tickling joke over a pint. I am happiest when deep in conversation... about pretty much anything and, when in a really good mood, have a tendency to break out in song. I'm looking for a lady with whom to share my profound love of the Catholic Faith. Someone who is kind, has a keen sense of humour and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo.

Hmm, this part seems a tad tricky, I'm never very good at selling myself but here goes. This will likely read like a plethora of clichs and platitudes, apologies in advance. I am currently an undergraduate who is passionate about more things outside my studies than I honestly have time for, I really enjoy reading about current affairs, doing pro-life work, charitable work with the homeless as well as a few pints with friends ( I like pubs but really don't like going to clubs - I prefer conversation) or unwinding at home to the sound of opera. I confess have caught the travel bug, and always love to see new places and meet new people, but it's always nice to come home. I have been influenced to a great extent by a curious mixture of the Dominican and Jesuit spiritualities, which have left me with a belief in the importance of both sound, precise thinking as well as compassion and love of one's neighbour, both of which often seem to be lacking in the world today. To live without God seems as nonsensical to me as breathing without air, and life is so rich, it seems like a waste not to enjoy and marvel at his rather wonderful creation. Not really sure what else to say here, but if you've got this far then thanks for reading, and may God bless you with a great day! :D

  • Augustine, 21 from London, GB

I really love the parable of the good Samaritan (Luke 10), Lord Jesus taught us that, it is really important to love God and then love our neighbours as ourselves; regardless who they are or where they are from. I pray to God, to make me, like the good Samaritan. Blessed are they, those who do kind things for strangers. Hi, I am Augustine. I am 22 years old, and live in London. I dont have family in the UK, therefore most my time is spent on with Lord Jesus, studying and exercising (especially, running& cycling). I am first year student at university and I work part time. Speaking with sincerity, I say following on the footstep of Lord Jesus is very difficult, painful and it is full of suffering (Matthew 7:14). However, it is worth it, it is full of holy joy and has great reward in Christ the Lord (Romans 8:18). I love reading the bible, it fills me with hope and guides me to be closer toward God every day. Lord Jesus has been the most influential friend in my life, He taught me in practice, not to be dependent and put my hope in human beings. Therefore, He is my sole hope and in Him I depend fully. I am here, believing &hoping in Christ to find humble lady who is close to the humblest heart of Christ Jesus. I also love traveling, I hope one day I will visit all the holy & educational places around the globe and to the places where the neediest people live.

My family means everything to me. My favourite thing to do is to take my 3 year old Godson out for a walk to the park (They're so fun to be around at that age!) whilst my Sister gets some well deserved rest. I'm also an avid reader and am quite happy to get lost in a good novel for hours, with regular stops to make tea of course (I make the perfect cup of tea). My Faith is an important of my daily life and sharing the gospel with everyone is a commandment I take seriously.
