I'm using a dating website because (I assume like everyone else here) I've found it difficult to find available devoutly Catholic members of the opposite sex around London. A friend of mine recommended this site based on the success on other people, and it has also seemed to work for other folks I know, so here goes...! Details 'about' me are really things to find out over a drink sometime... but here's some basics to start off with: I work as Executive Officer of 'Right to Life' (the premier right-to-life group that works with the All-Party Parliamentary Pro-Life Group to bring about political change), and also do Catholic apologetics work, much of the time as a Speaker for Catholic Voices (a group that goes on T.V. and Radio and expounds the Gospel/defends the Church). You can check out many of my appearances, here: I like spending time with friends, reading, going to the movies... all the normal social things, really. I love Theology, Philosophy, Politics, Literature and Jazz.

  • David, 27 from Bristol, GB
    27, Bristol, GB
I'm David, an easy going 27 yr old guy. I moved to Bristol almost three and a half years ago and am looking to meet someone special! I'm passionate about football (Newcastle United), comedy and music, museums and heritage/history and natural history/geology. I like to spend my free time visiting new places, watching sport, listening to music, watching films, especially comedy films and reading, usually thriller novels, James Paterson and Dean Koontz are favourites of mine.I also really enjoy going out to eat and exploring great places for food. I like to keep fit in my spare time too, walking as much as possible and playing football once a week and squash, my job also keeps me pretty active too. I love going bowling too, I'll never turn down a bit of bowling! My experiences at university and living and working in America have been the most influential in my life. From them I have learnt the importance of being open to new experiences which has led me to doing things I never thought I would do e.g. acting in a play in New York which I got roped in to doing. The most important thing I have learnt from them is that friendships and relationships with people are the most rewarding and significant thing we can do during our lives.

I am a conductor of classical music and a singing teacher. Some of my interests include following various sports, good food and drink, theology, reading, movies, nice holidays, walking in the hills and anything to do with Italy! I love going on holiday with my friends, especially to places where we can relax together and have time for good meals and lots of conversation and laughter. My faith is the most important thing in my life. I love reading about theology and chatting about it with others. I had a conversion experience in my early 20's which has changed my life forever. I seek to live my life for the glory of God as best I can. My christian friends are hugely important to me and I am definitely looking for someone who shares my passion for Jesus Christ.
  • Christopher, 31 from London, GB
    31, London, GB
Hello, I'm Chris. I do my best to be kind, open and friendly to everyone I meet and I always try to do the right thing by other people. I'm originally from the Midlands, but moved down to London full-time for my work more than three years ago now. I am in the newspaper industry so work long and unsocial hours, but I also get a fair amount of time off, much of which I spend with my family when I can. Family is very important to me, my mother and father have been influential in my life and the older I get, the more I appreciate the upbringing they have given me and realise how lucky I am to have been brought up in a close knit and loving Catholic community. I follow various sports closely and also read a lot in my spare time - a bit of a busman's holiday I know! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

Mancunian by birth, a francophile by choice and Catholic by conviction. I am very sanguine and happiest when deep in conversation... it normally doesn't matter what the subject is so long as it's interesting. Travel has been and is a big part of my life and my faith and I've been to Australia, India and most of Western Europe so far. The eldest of 6, I went to a traditional Catholic boarding school before studying, working for the military and later in business as an investigator. University proved something of a crucible where ideas and beliefs were challenged and tested. Hopefully, I came out the other side a fairly well rounded individual but as the future 'Miss Right', you must be the judge of that! ;)

As always - does anyone really know what to write in these things? But here goes ... I am a young professional working in science/engineering. I am a cradle Catholic, but I began to engage more seriously with my faith while at university. God has blessed me with a loving family background, with a job I find satisfying and above all with many graces that have helped keep me Catholic. I hope to meet a woman who will share with me in the joys and sorrows of life in the Church, to raise up a Catholic family together and to help each other as we "work out our salvation". In more detail, I have a full time job, working fairly regular hours. In my free time I enjoy reading, watching movies, and playing clarinet and piano (very amateurishly). I enjoy classical music. I like a quiet social life - dinner with a few friends, a walk in the park, a concert, a visit to the cinema ... are all much preferable to me than a loud party or pub/club. I am an early bird. I am not very sporty but I like tennis and golf. As I mentioned, I began to take my faith much more seriously while at university, and over the last decade I have tried to learn more and more about what the Church teaches. The reason and the beauty of Catholicism have convinced ever more of its truth. A period studying abroad in a vibrant diocese was a great boost to my faith life. Having completed my postgraduate studies a few years ago, and having settled into working life I am now looking forward to the next stage of life - marriage, I hope, to someone with whom I can raise up a happy family, someone with whom I can learn to be a good Catholic husband and father.

I returned to the church about 5 years ago, life is a blessing and i have came to learn so much about my faith and the teachings of the church, my faith means everything to me and this is the very structure and foundation of my daily routine. I believe that love is action that goes above feelings and does not base itself on feelings. I believe that with Gods grace if i live my life by love then my life has not been in vain. God bless you all x

I am a twenty-six years old Italian, family- and company-loving. I consider myself a loyal person, anchored to traditional values that I deem essential, sociable, thoughtful but also a bit shy. Indeed shyness restrains approaches at first, but once felt understanding, I loosen up and do my best with irony and humor, because laughter breaks down many walls. I'm not a spendthrift, I prefer good sense in disposing of my financial resources, due to a deep respect of money and work to get it. However I do not consider myself avaricious and I always try to live with a high level of quality of life. I do have ambitions for the kind of job I have in mind, pushing me to face new challenging environments at the cost of leaving my native land, Sicily. Lastly, I love cooking for myself and friends, entertaining them with light conversation or even discussions on topics involving me particularly. I like reading books (historical and fantasy are my choices), listening to music of almost any genre, watching movies at cinemas, playing video games sometimes, traveling for short or medium periods to learn about new cultures and lifestyles, but also art and food.

Business Analyst by day, amateur photographer by night. No, wait. That last part sounded a bit creepy! Business Analyst by day, amateur landscape photographer at the weekend. Although I do plan on getting out some night to photograph the stars. Maybe you could come with me? (See, now it sounds romantic and not creepy at all!)
