Hi thanks for viewing my profile. I have been told that I'm funny, warm, positive and caring . My interests include dancing, sports, movies, museums, plays, good restaurants and just enjoying oneself. Look forward to meeting a wonderful woman to share life's journey as I have learned quite a bit about communicating and compromising.

I'm a warm, caring, considerate person. I value my family relationships and my friendships highly and am a person of deep personal faith in God and the Roman Catholic faith. I'm a realist with idealistic tendencies, formerly an environmental scientist, now an attorney. I enjoy nature, travel, participatory sports (especially running/track), am a history buff and restore sports cars as a hobby.

I am the oldest of six and have grown up in a wonderful and passionately Catholic family. I enjoy martial arts, volleyball, writing, and watching movies. I am a big fan of the arts, provided they are truly art and reflect the transcendentals . Most importantly I believe that becoming a saint is the most important thing in the world. Having said that I certainly have a long way to go and am looking forward to meeting someone to challenge me and help me be the saint that I am meant to be. I try to follow the words of St. Josemaria Escriva and "Act like a burning coal, spreading fire wherever it happens to be; or at least striving to raise the spiritual temperature of the people around you".

Faith, family and friends are most important to me. I'm close to all three. I'd like to think that my faith is the center of my life. I'm close with my family and realize that, in life, you also need good friends. Music is a particular passion, listening that is. You can see the music section for more on my interests there. I also enjoy sports, particularly baseball.

First off, a bit about me. I'm a bit shy at first ... that is to say that I'm a bit clumsy when it comes to talking to people the first time... Not that I don't keep trying.... Once I get out of my shell though, I'm fine! I'm like a piece of red hot metal... I form a protective oxide on the surface that periodically needs to be broken through, but inside I'm warm and ductile... albeit still a bit rigid and crystalline in nature. Mind the sparks! I try to be polite and courteous. Always looking towards the future --Next, some of my interests.-- Science Fiction & Fantasy {Alternate History, etc...}; Going to museums; Going to new places; Going to interesting events {festivals, etc...}; Walks in the woods; Surreal, goofy, off the wall humor (I changed my office sign at work to "Maniacal Engineering", MU HU HA HA HA!); Hobby electronics, science, and programming

I usually think before I act. I believe deeply in personal freedom and individual responsibility. I believe that actions have consequences, and people need to accept the consequences of their actions if they are to learn from their mistakes and grow. I believe that compassion plays a role to play in my life encouraging people to take care of themselves. In an emergency, of course, you're there to offer help and if someone has helped you out in the past there is no question about your loyalty. Whenever it is realistic, I am convinced people should take care of themselves. I devote adequate time to taking care of my own needs and wants because it makes me happy with my life and because that's what I truly believe every person should do. I cherish personal independence for myself and others. I like the way things are in my life. The ideas and beliefs that have served me well serve me still. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it," and as far as I'm concerned, "It ain't broke." I've held on to these beliefs for a long time, and held on earnestly. Novelty and intellectual experiments and "the next new idea" hold some interest for me. I like the practical, down-to-earth ways of thinking and believing and living my life that have served me so well. We're born with the capacity to feel deeply, so it's as natural as breathing to experience a range of emotions. Fear and joy and sadness, anger and shame and disgust lie somewhere within each of us. I believe I am a person who is emotionally steady. Some days I want to hang out by myself, not answer the phone ,and make the world go away. The next day I am oot and aboot. It may be the phases of the moon, or something I ate; some days are just like that and then there are the days where everything goes right - which are to be cherished as they are few and far between. To be with others or to be alone are equally good. Sometimes I am more comfortable alone or with one or two friends, while other times I like the crowd at a parade or a fair. By the way, I don't do Twitter any more and if you find me on Facebook, it's not me - I've never done Facebook. LDR is a place I can drive to and be able to do 5 dates in a week for at least 4 weeks in a row. Flying out of state is not an option.

I was a long-time gone from the Catholic Church but have come back in recent years inspired by Pope Francis' message of love and acceptance to all. While I struggle to reconcile the many problems we face in our world today, I am hopeful that the Catholic Church can provide relief, guidance and hope to others. To that end, I try to be a very open person in my own life. Politically, I am very liberal. I cannot accept divisive language and policy as representing anything other than hate, much less Christ's instructions to us. As I exist now in my 30s, I realize that I have spent very little time discerning my vocation in life. I am actively doing that and interested in meeting other like-minded people who feel similarly. In my leisure time I like to do outdoors things. I'm lucky in that I sometimes get to work outdoors too! Running is a regular activity of mine; skiing, hiking, climbing (rock/ice/alpine) when able. I'd choose mountains over beaches any day. What about you?

Hi! I am a 46 year old single man with a good sense of humor and often intelligent (have my moments). I have a crazy work schedule but it leaves me with a good amount of time off. During my down days, I live a pretty ordinary life but would like to explore more and create lasting memories. Looking to meet someone to share these memories with.

Please don't be a Trump supporter, that is currently my number one deal breaker. Also, if you don't agree with my stances with the Church's teachings below, please be willing to talk about it instead of writing me off right away. Being Catholic is obviously important enough to me and the way I live my life, that I come here to find a good Catholic Woman. The things that I don't agree with come from a series of circumstances that I've either encountered or experienced. I work in Film/Television, mostly do Camera work and lighting these days, but Comedy Writing/Directing/Acting are what I'm passionate about. The hours and days I work are pretty insane, and it makes planning/being available for most things very difficult. I hope to find a good Woman that will be understanding of that, and I'll do my best to be understanding if she works a similar schedule. I work hard and rest hard, so I'm really into my days off being pretty chill; but I do love the beach, EXPLORING, going to the movies, cooking/grilling, and roller coasters. And as you can imagine, I try to see as many movies as I can on my days off, and am a part time Netflix junkie.

Hello and thanks for viewing my profile. The best way to describe me is by saying that I am a true Scorpio at heart. I am dedicated, passionate and possess a "stick-to-it" personality. I am in search of a partner to share all things in life, good and bad. The possibility of finding that right person has me cautiously optimistic. I am looking forward to the verbal exchange that will hopefully lead to a face to face encounter. The road less traveled is the road I may be departing on as it relates to relationships and dating. We shall see.....!
