44, Roy, UTHello fellow Catholics! My moniker is "Jack of All Trades, Master of Most" because I like learning and gaining knowledge personally about various subjects, vocations and hobbies. After being away from the Church for a long time, I've recently returned with renewed vigor, all because of Christ our Lord through the Catholic faith that I was baptized into as a child. After recently separating from the military, I continue my long career field in Information Technology, but it is the arts that interests me the most and my passions are there, and someday I want to use that avenue fully instead of part time, to glorify God and spread His word and hope for converts. I like studying, reading and listening to good music on my days off, as well as going out to network with people in the film industry. I enjoy videogames, movies and TV shows, though I've put off videogames for Lent ;-) I like writing, particularly fiction but I'm very astute and experienced with non-fiction. I love singing as well, maybe I'll even join the choir during Mass someday! We'll see. I also like cats (even though I never owned one. lol)

48, Riverton, UTWhen not working, I enjoy the great outdoors. Camping, fishing, hiking, exploring new places. When home, I enjoy working on projects around my home. Bought a little bit of a fixer-up-er, and it gives me the opportunity to make my home the way I want it to look/feel. I am in regular contact with my family, however they live in another state, so I dont get too much time with them. But when my brothers do come and visit, we usually spend quite a bit of time camping. Always good to see them. I would like to think people recognize that I am friendly and intelligent. I am looking for someone who is adventuresome, loves the outdoors, smart, caring and honest. I guess that covers a lot, but I enjoy a good conversation over dinner too.
39, Salt Lake City, UTI have incredibly varied interests and passions ranging from hiking/camping/backpacking/canoeing/skiing to ballet/opera/art/poetry to economic history and Keynesian macroeconomics to Ignatian spirituality to baseball and NCAA football (can tolerate NFL . . . barely). Terence said it best, "Homo sum, humani nihil a me alienum puto." I'm the son of a factory worker who got lucky, and can usually fit in as well in a working-class dive bar talking hunting and fishing as at the ballet discussing Balanchine or a wine bar discussing the stock and bond markets. Nevertheless, I've never forgotten my proletarian roots. I'm not the best at practicing it (mountains on Sunday often win out over Mass, and my doctrinal views are a bit heterodox), but being Roman Catholic is very important to me. And I'm a Midwesterner through and through . . . but the real Midwest (the lands of the old Northwest Territory between the Ohio and the Mississippi rivers--none of this Kansas and Nebraska "Midwest" stuff). My political views tend to be conservative, but I've never fit neatly into either party. I love my family and ADORE my nieces and nephews, but don't get to see them very often.

50, Riverton, UTHi - still fairly new to UT and branching out to a more stable platform in meeting people that were born and raised in my faith as a catholic, while growing up back East. I'm a technology professional of 30 years, a Marine Corps veteran, an avid fly fisherman, and I love to cook and show off my Caribbean dishes from time to time. Between my job, working out, and trying to live a simplistic life - I wouldn't mind meeting people to socialize with that have similar interest. Even if no connection should exist , just meeting folks would be just as fine as well. Thanks for reading - good luck and well wishes to all of your searching, no matter the goal in mind - RR
