I am an easy going kind of person. I am level headed, and don't let things bother me. Life is to short to let something get you down. When I first meet someone I am some what reserved, but once I have gotten to know someone I tend to be much more open. A good relationships takes time. I think the best relationships start out as friends and build from there, every loving relationship needs a base to build from. I enjoy traveling(mostly in the USA so far), golfing, hiking and going for walks, playing cards, reading a good book, going to the theater or concerts, Kona coffee, and trying new things. I don't want to spend my life waiting for love at first sight, although I know it can happen it is rare. I would rather take my time and get to know you, than hope for something that may never come. I like to think of myself as eclectic, not limiting myself to only what I know or have done already.

Always on the go; looking for new and exciting things; but above all looking for that special person to share all the things I like, and looking forward to sharing all the things she likes. Nothing finer then relaxing in front of a fireplace after a hard day or if it's summertime; having a cold brew on the deck. If your REALLY active (especially like to run or bike), really want to try new things, like being outdoors in the sumertime and especially like to be with a guy that really hates to just "sit around" drop me a line. So in other words; looking for that "spark" that will ignite a GREAT relationship. Profiles with pictures only please. After all, if my picture is "out there" I want yours to be as well. Have a great day!!!

All of my photos are within the past year. I'm an out going person, enjoy conversation, I'm in very good physical condition and I have a wonderful relationship with God, I take the time daily to be quiet and meditate, it is an amazing time for me. I love God dearly. i walk the beach/harbor 3-5 miles every day and I'd like to have a special lady walk with me. I enjoy dining out, I really like fine restaurants, however I also enjoy a good taco stand. There is a little place here in Oceanside at the harbor, best burgers in the world!!!! I enjoy going to movies and out to eat afterwards. I like to have fun, I firmly believe that laughter is the best medicine. I'm looking for a romantic catholic woman to share my life with,,,,,dancing, dining, laughing, talking, sharing.....and especially praying together. I know that the best way to maintain a good loving relationship is open conversation. Having a partner, soulmate, confidante is the structure of a romantic relationship. I am passionate about doing, being, and becoming that destiny God chose for me. This passion came into focus over 25 years ago when I left what I call the "rat race" of greed and materialism and devoted my life to discovering what my role would be: "To do what I could do to help the most people." At that point and as a man of science, my gut was telling me that my role would have to go much deeper than just science. I would have to enter the depths of my soul, searching to find these answers. I knew I could find some good answers. I could feel it coming from depths of my body, my soul and my spirit. And they came, answers to questions I perceived God was asking me to consider namely: 1. Who are we? 2. Where are we now? 3. Where have we been? 4. Where are we going? By searching and researching with meditation and prayer answers began to emerge and converge. This revelation unfolded as an integration. The integration of science and soul evolving as a unity of the two and becoming a non-dual spiritual union focused on working together with God. It became clear to me that we needed to become more involved in seeking wholeness and healing not only personally but together with others. My personal transformation began in my mid thirties as I began reading scripture as a lector and then in depth using the Jerusalem Bible as my guide. As a scientist my hero was Albert Einstein. But the real fire in my belly was ignited as I began to read the works of the Jesuit Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. In concert with this effort the work of Carl Jung the noted depth psychologist played an important role. But the major influence in my work was a deep desire to more fully understand the mission and role of Christ Jesus. The seeds having been planted, by my late forties, growth and fruitful ideas began to emerge . I began to travel, interact and share the results with those who might listen or resonate with them. Writings in journals, stories, prose, poetry, and a multitude of research reports began to find their way on the internet. The essential message of my work is unity a unity based on a deeper understanding of the Archetypal Christ. Today, I am moved everytime I hear Pope Francis speak because the base of his message in my opinion is unity. Yes, I am a serious person with a serious mission. But I deeply love people and enjoy their company as well. I celebrate the reality of Christmas everyday. Looking for that special someone to share my joy!

My marriage ended in February 2016. I am just now beginning to turn the page and I am seeking a serious long term relationship leading to marriage. I cannot marry again within the Church, but I am otherwise an active Catholic. I was married for 35 years, and I have nine children, none of whom live with me. I love children and I am open to having a few more...but not more than three. I cannot go beyong the Biblical dozen! By the way, I'm not yet divorced (the CatholicMatch page does not allow the term "separation" which is my case) but I plan to carry out the papers as soon as legally possible in early 2017.
