27, Porto Alegre, BRHello my name is Jonas, I am here because I believe that God may have put the right person for you in any part of the world not just in your neighborhood or city. The Church is the compass of my life, I try very hard to follow the teachings of our Lord Jesus and the Saints. One of my life goals is to live in the closest way possible as Jesus taught us to do. I think that with other person with you that goal gets easier and with more joy on the path of both. I dream of someday building a big and happy Catholic family. I'm also a very active person, I enjoy workout and outdoor activities like running, mountain biking and camping/fishing.
25, Nyack, NYThe most important description which I can offer here is that I've always had - and to a healthy degree still maintain - a general aversion to anything in the realm of "online dating." I believe firmly that the pursuit of a sincere, Catholic relationship -with the possibility of developing into a Catholic marriage- should be undertaken with the utmost honesty, respect, and chivalry; anything less simply isn't my style. God only knows how much I yearn for an organically wholesome encounter, akin to the way Chesterton or Belloc first came upon their wives. Online dating has never been my idea of an earnest or heroic courtship; but even I've come to understand (or rather concede) that as Catholics, we're living in a time with unique and unprecedented challenges to marriage, which do demand beyond ordinary action. If marriage is the vocation we ultimately are called to, we have an obligation to rightly utilize the resources which God lays before us. I place entirely all my trust and confidence in the Holy Spirit, and my hope in the hands of the Blessed Mother, if indeed, against the wildest odds, that through her Son I might here find the woman I was meant to give my life for. Yours In Christ, DLD
33, Epping, AUHello, I am a devout Traditional Roman Catholic. Most of my spare time is spent reading or in prayer. I guess you might say I'm the quiet/ introvert/ phlegmatic personality type. I'd say I'm 'even-keeled'. I don't start conversations very well but I can keep them. You can trust me when I say that when I do speak, I mean what I say, and hopefully say what I mean. I don't like wasting my words. I probably speak better in writing than I do in person. Its not that I'm shy, its just that I have man-brain. I do watch TV/youtube/Netflix on occasion, although I am trying to minimise that also so that I can give more time to God and to study. I have had some health problems throughout my life, which I've had to work around, so I'm not hugely travelled or experienced or accomplished or qualified in as many things as most people seem to be these days. God-willing - I think I'm more a man of good character than achievements. I don't have huge circles of friends or a very active social life. My family, my brothers and sisters, are my friends. I HATE pubs and clubs. I can't think of anywhere else more disingenuous. I don't drink. I don't smoke. I'm not going to beat around the bush. I come from a large family and I intend, again God-willing, to have my own large family. Im not desperate to dive into marriage but I'm not going to walk the plank forever. I would say the realistic steps are; Friendship - Courtship - Marriage.
40, Orlando, FLHi there, I have been thinking about what to write about myself and believe me when I say that this is too hard, where to start? Where to end? So, if you are taking the time to read this, I would like to thank you for your interest and I will also extend you an invitation to ask me as many questions as you like to know me. But in general let me just say for now, I am a honest, humble, shy and very respectful guy.
26, Mt Vernon, VAI'm a full time graduate student, pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology, with a special focus on cognitive assessment. When I'm not plugging away at my dissertation or working at a psychiatric hospital, I enjoy spending time with my friends, playing guitar, and reading. I'm an introvert, in the sense that I find parties and group activities tiring; but, I've recently determined to develope my sociability. So far so good ;) .
18, Maple Valley, WAIf you're reading this far, then I guess I've passed the hardest test--getting someone's attention. Good so far. I want to get the most out of my life and believe that can't happen until I find a person to share it with. I come from a family of eight, and have one younger brother. My parents have been hands down the greatest influence in my life. Their unwavering dedication, sacrifices and all that they have done for me and my siblings never cease to impress me and bear witness to their real love for us. I enjoy the natural environment, going on hikes and adventures, Spanish and exercise (although I'm not super fit). I just graduated from high school in June and am attending a local college.
24, Des Moines, IAAs funny as it sounds my mom convinced to sign up and now I'm here.. I'm Rudy 24 years old. Live in Des Moines Iowa. I love sports and very competitive anything else you want to know just ask.
53, Oxford, GBThe most influential experience was my conversion to the Faith as an undergraduate at Cambridge, the most influential person, my friend there who introduced me to the concept of meeting Our Lord in the Mass. The most exciting and satisfying job: Research Assistant (+ Speechwriter) to an MP. I am passionate about helping homeless people (having been invited to speak on BBC Radio recently on 3 occasions), defending the poor from unjust welfare and employment laws and business practices, not stigmatising people for any reason, defending victims of injustice and tyranny e.g. people condemned to death, especially if innocent or mentally ill (by at least signing petitions on their behalf), - although I oppose the death penalty in principle and practice anyway - treating animals kindly etc. I am also a firm believer that both as a duty of charity and in order to make progress, the pro-life movement, which I support, must emphasise and offer its help to pregnant women in trouble. In a different way, I am passionate about good food: usually the simpler the better, and let it be fresh! I can also enjoy cooking but results can be hit and miss! A life-long passion which has occasionally achieved publication (most recently this February), is writing and editing. Subjects include history and the state of the nation, as well as fiction and poetry. For leisure, I greatly enjoy the company of an intelligent conversationalist over a simple dinner with a glass or two (pretty much my preferred limit) of wine or beer - or while strolling in the countryside or a public park or garden. Topics of conversation could include history, legal matters, literature, politics, Church matters, scientific developments, philosophy or what you will. I also greatly enjoy sharing the pleasure of a good film on DVD (favoured genres include: biopics, classic comedy [carefully selected], classic drama/thrillers, courtroom drama, history/historical drama, Catholic devotional, Shakespeare etc - but will tolerate a modern romantic comedy if you insist! Actually, the best are good fun). Cinema or theatre also occasionally enjoyed. PS I put 'no children'; I have a son who is a 27-yr-old adult. NB although I attend old rite Mass when I can, most Sundays Latin new rite, said and sung with great beauty. It is more convenient.
32, Allegan, MII'm Joe, I'm currently working in QA for a large Pharmaceutical company in West Michigan. I'm a rural outdoor type of person, I like to write and read about theology, and play blues guitar. My idea of a fun Friday night in the city is eating Indian food, or other ethic food, getting a couple drinks and dancing swing/hustle/salsa.
19, Tultitlán De Mariano Escobedo, MXMy name is Enrique I'm 19 year old, I'm from Mexico. I'm a electronics engineering student and a great Catholic devout. I study that degree because I want to know the marvelous world that God created. I like to play guitar and harmonica. I'm a great blues, country music and norteno music fan. I pray to Our Lord every day, for the conversion of the people and their way to sanctity. I like to study the great Mystery of Sacred Trinity . I like to pray in Latin, and to listen Greogorian Chants. Specially I love to read the Sacred Scriptures in the Vulgata. I love to read History, after music this is my favorite hobby. I read a lot of books of historic revisionism.
