Hmm.. worst part is to try and convey something about yourself that captures who you think you are.. OK most people say I am a "Nice Guy" especially women (usually the kiss of death for a guy). End up being a big brother to many. Have a lot of good friends that I enjoy being with.. Probably to easy going at times and like to think that I am slow to anger.. Love my faith even when it is contrarian... Love to talk about politics and faith to who ever will listen... best place is in bars where people least likely will expect conversations..especially about faith and God.. Work hard and spend time in the Gym to try and stay in shape.. Love a good bike ride... Love Movies and still go out dancing to make sure I haven't forgotton how to.. will make myself the butt of a joke if it will make someone laugh.. Love people who are funny and kind... Kindness and respect for others even when they are diametrically opposed to your views is the surest way to change hearts... Love God even when I am off track... He puts me back on the rails or sends one of my friends to help out... Love telling stories.. love hearing good stories.. Life is Good!!

"Life is too short to just go through the motions. Discover your passion and do it to the best of your ability." Hi there! I am a fun-loving, ambitious, and passionate person who puts God at the center of his life and has a lot of love to share with the right person. I love to stay active, enjoy the outdoors, spend time with family and friends, and get involved to make a difference for causes I believe in (such as the pro-life movement, politics, and helping others). I have lived in the DC/Northern Virginia area since 2008 and love the area. I still love exploring all the city has to offer and really love all the opportunities the city offers. I think the Northern VA area has one of the best Catholic communities in the country and really love the vibrant young adult faith community here. That being said I grew up as a military brat, so I definitely believe that home is where the heart is and am willing to go wherever I feel that God is calling me. I also love outdoor events like hiking, biking, running, rafting, and anything else that catches my interest. I really love to travel whenever and where ever I can. I've taken some incredible trips (World Youth Day 2008 in Sydney, Australia, Italy, Greece, etc.) and have traveled quite a bit around the U.S. over the years. Lots more to see! Want to be my travel partner? ;) I love following sports and am a huge NC State basketball and football fan. Go Wolfpack! I also love following the D.C. teams and going to games...mostly the Nationals and Capitals. Still working on picking an NFL team. I mostly cheer for players in the NFL, such as the one I quoted at the top of this section. Bonus points if you know who said that. :) My faith is truly the most important part of my life and I am an active member of my parish community, young adult group, Knights of Columbus, and Legion of Mary. I graduated from law school last December and currently work as an attorney for the federal government. I have been blessed with some great career opportunities, but am most excited about being able to use my legal education to serve God and His will. I know He has some great things planned for me that are just beginning. I am very excited for what the future holds and would love to find the right person to share it all with. If you want to know anything else, just ask ... I would love to chat and get to know you. Thanks for reading. God Bless!

I love the outdoors, and enjoy hiking, kayaking, fishing, running, and cooking. I am an avid reader, and enjoy good conversation. I have a goofy sense of humor, and I like to have fun. I'm relatively new to the area, and am enjoying the things that this area has to offer-- I'm looking forward to discovering more. I prefer to walk into situations with my eyes open, rather than rushing in with my eyes closed and hoping for the best.

Hi there! I hope you are doing well. By way of introduction I suppose I should tell you a bit about myself. I'm a guy who spent the first part of his life in California and Colorado, then I ended up on the east coast. It's okay I guess, but I've found that living in the DC area is getting old because people are way too uptight, but it is what it is and I think God outs us in a place for one reason or another, and I can certainly turn it into something better by keeping a positive attitude :-D. I work in the computer security field and I recently decided to get a job that is much less demanding so that I can work on settling down and starting a family. I'm into all sorts of things such as chess, reading, sports, singing, and travelling. I also challenge you to a game of Jeopardy, I'm pretty sure I can beat you as long as you're not somebody like Ken Jennings or Alex Jacob. Just don't ask me anything about Justin Bieber because quite frankly, I just don't care and I don't care to know. Everything else is fair game and much more interesting. I'm very extroverted by nature and I enjoy meeting all kinds of people whether they be my age, much older, or much younger. One time after Holy Mass I got tackled by three kids at once which was absolutely hilarious. People are people and I enjoy getting to know them and seeing them as human beings regardless of where they are in life. Hopefully I'm influencing everyone in a positive way. in every circumstance!

Moved to DC from SC. Work in international business, like to stay in shape and work on my investments, have a master's degree, love my family, and treat others well. Don't take things too seriously, know the difference between your and you're, and don't think chivalry is dead. Things I cant live without: Windshield Wipers. I think balance in life is important ... like to stay active, work out, work on my investments, stay in touch with family, go out, stay in, travel, weekend trips, sports, movies, afternoons walking around. I played sports in college and like an athletic girl, but it's definitely not a deal breaker

Just back after a hiatus, will update profile shortly (12/6/2016) I tend toward the creative side and like to be involved in activities in which people can participate. When I have parties they usually have some way for this to occur; whether it be a script reading, playing music by a fire pit, learning a dance or even a bean bag toss tournament going on while others just enjoy the night. Theology and spreading the faith is important to me. I recognize that we all have our different ways of doing this though. I work for a small national Catholic non-profit and am an RCIA director at a downtown DC parish, though I live in Virginia. I like being active and engaged more than hanging out at the house watching TV, though I do certainly enjoy watching a good flick occasionally and relaxing for a night in. Music is a big part of my routine. I've played guitar for 20 years or so, I play in praise - prayer groups a couple times a week. I find that if done well enough, people encounter God in the musical prayer form, and so I throw a lot of effort that way. I have been working on praise and worship songs for a bit. I'm kind of a DIYer when it comes to projects around the house. I definitely enjoy the home improvement stuff. I'm not a rich man though. If that is a particular value to you, you would probably do better for both our parts to look elsewhere. I am pretty laid back as well, and seem to have good timing with humor. I am looking for a relationship with a natural playfulness, good discussions and a creative spirituality that is hopeful. P.S. my temperament test says that I am sanguine, choleric. All my life I have tested as melancholic, phlegmatic. Go figure... I am pretty laid back, though engaged in a lot of initiatives. Couple of booklets, songwriting, voice lessons, RCIA, putting together a series of live events for singer-songwriters with hopefully recordings to come from it, and some efforts at fostering new prayer groups. Lots going on! :) I am comfortable with folks who are at peace with themselves and able to extend that to others.

Hello, my name is Erich. I did CM a couple of years back and it worked out pretty good, but obviously not that good if I am still on here, right? Ha! I have always been open to dating women of alternative Christian denominations, but I would prefer to be with somebody who shares my religious affiliation; hence, CM has my business at least for 6 months. I am loving the D.C. Metro area and look forward to exploring with like-minded women. I am a writer by trade and I can go on forever, really. So drop me a line if you want to know anything more, and you can rest assure I will do the same.

Hi - thanks for visiting my profile! I'm a Catholic man trying to live as virtuously as I can and hope to use this site to meet like-minded women who I might otherwise not meet. I'm a very active person and always like to be engaged in something. Rather it be chilling with friends, exploring a new neighborhood, reading, going to Adoration, hiking, carpentry, watching sports, running (currently training for a half-marathon), visiting a museum, going to concerts, volunteering, traveling, or learning something new. If I could do them all in a day, I would. Since that list is pretty banal without context, feel free to read on below -- or say hello and ask yourself!

I'm originally from Vancouver, Canada (so exotic, I know), but I went to college at Notre Dame and have just moved to the Washington, DC area. At Notre Dame I studied my passions: political science and theology. I'm intensely passionate about my faith and about trying to make the world a better place - right now I'm trying to figure out how, given my values, I might help elevate the lives of others. I'm also a big fan of travelling and getting to know other cultures - language learning is actually a pretty big hobby of mine, and over the years I've learned French and now have moved onto Italian. There's a quote from Into the Wild that I think captures a lot of my guiding philosophy: "The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun." I think that there's so much beauty and richness out there in life, just ripe for the taking, and I want to seize it. But more than that, I want to give it away: I want to share all of the joy, and beauty, and richness of life with everyone with whom I cross paths.
