47, Virginia Beach, VAHey! How you doin'? ;) Thanks for checking me out. I'll do my best to give a brief synopsis here, but the best way to get to know me is to talk to me. I am deeply devoted to The One True Catholic Faith...but, if I'm honest, I wasn't always that way and took my faith for granted in my youth. I was blessed to be born into the Catholic Church and attended school where the sisters wore habits and wielded paddles (my father encouraged the sisters to use them liberally). However, there was a rebellious desire that rose up as I approached "adulthood," i.e., what I thought was adulthood...yada, yada, yada,...by the grace of God I experienced my 'prodigal son' moment and realized my need of repentance. That was late 2000 or early 2001 and it wasn't a miraculous, total and instantaneous change, but has been a long road with many challenges. I still have a long way to go, but have come a long way from the bartending/party-like-a-rockstar/Animal House lifestyle I once embraced. In 2005, I began attending daily mass and in 2007 I found the courage to attend a traditional latin mass, which is when I really began to deepen my knowledge and understanding of, and true devotion to, The Faith. In '08 or '09, the newly assigned pastor to my parish agreed to be my spiritual director and has helped me immensely since then. I learned to serve low mass, and do so often during the week, unless a change in the mass schedule or my work schedule prevents it. I posted some pictures of the pilgrimage to Italy I accompanied my spiritual director on in 2015 where I was privileged to serve mass in many beautiful churches throughout Italy. It was truly awe-inspiring and I treasure those memories. The only thing missing was a spouse who shares my passion and enthusiasm for the Catholic Faith, culture and traditions. In 2015, the property next to my parish became available, so I seized the opportunity and now I can walk to church in a little less than 200 steps (if I take the long way). I did the best I could to find duck-blind draperies that matched the camouflage pattern wall paper, but the house could still really use a woman's touch. Can you finish taming the beast? :)
34, Warrenton, VAI'm 31 years old and live in Warrenton, VA. I work as a firefighter and EMT, which keeps me pretty busy. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, biking, or kayaking, basically any activity that gives me an excuse to spend time outdoors. In the summer I like going to baseball games, and I also play on a fire department baseball team. Other than that, I seem to spend way too much time working on remodeling my house.
27, Virginia Beach, VAA little bit about myself, my faith is definitely a priority in my life. I am very passionate about youth ministry and giving back. It is so rewarding to be able to share my faith to the next generation and to watch hearts be given over to God for the first time. I play guitar, so praise and worship has been a huge factor in my faith. It has been the vessel in my conversion and how God reveals to me His love. Otherwise, I am pursuing my career to be able to support a family. I am dedicated to creating a foundation for myself that I can use to help others.
23, Front Royal, VAGod and family is a essential part of who I am. My Catholic faith is very important to me, and I wouldn't give it up for anyone or anything. I love to laugh, tease, and have fun with others. I am a firm believer in high quality food. That is why I also enjoy gardening and learning about wild edibles. I am currently learning how to cook, for food is good. Writing and reading is a great passion of mine. And I am currently working on a writing project with help from a friend. And honestly, it's quite fun to mess with your characters lives and control their destiny. You have to be careful not to let such great power go to your head. Or it's angst for days!
55, Fredericksburg, VAI'm 55 widowed I lost my wife 20 months ago. Good marriage. I recently retired from my union after 32 years . I like to garden go for walks travel go to the gym go out to dinner sometimes . Go to the movies cook outside . Spend time at home
46, Centreville, VAI am fun, funny, caring, and giving. I give completely of myself to those I love and to those I minister to. I love to cook, sing, and play tennis when I find the time. I love photography and attending the live arts. I am a huge Redskins fan! Hail to the Redskins! I love hanging out with my family and friends. Other than my Catholic faith, my family is most important in my life. The two biggest heroes in my life are my Dad and St. Joseph. I've told my Dad that if I can be half the father that he is, I will be an awesome Dad! And with Mary's intercession, I pray that I will someday come close to being like the greatest husband and father who ever lived, St. Joseph.
27, Arlington, VAI enjoy all things accounting and finance-related, and am currently working full-time as an internal auditor at a leading media/news organization while simultaneously working with a childhood friend on an investment-based startup. I have also developed a passion for distance running over the past few years, despite never having been on a track team in high school or in college; I currently have two marathons and three half marathons under my belt. I have found over the past several years that I love vacationing in/around Colorado, Nevada and Utah. Lastly, I am an Eagle Scout and I have a love of the outdoors.
21, Arlington, VAI am passionate about life, living in the moment, taking risks and chances, and I could go on and on but what I really live for is Christ. I live for him in the form of the Blessed Sacrament and I live for him as my Lord who gave everything so I could have everything, I can't count how many times Jesus has held my hand and guided me back to the path that is his will for me when I was teetering on the edge, lost without any real direction. To be upfront I take my faith outside of weekend mass, well outside of it, I am dedicated to the sacraments and to a rich and deep understanding of Christ's Church and now that I have discerned my vocation to be a husband I know that I cannot date someone unless they challenge me to love God more deeply, to take the focus away from the both of us and put it on the Eucharist as the center. I am so in love with being a devout Catholic man and I love answering God's call for me to take my faith that much further where others stop because they have selfish desires in their heart that hold them back from truly digging into the richness of God's love and goodness. I am by no means better than anyone else because I go to adoration more often or because I go to weekly reconciliation, if anything the closer my heart's desires reflect the Lord's will the more aware I become of how broken I actually am, and I turn to God in an ever ending cycle of me loving him more because I need him. (BTW excuse my misuse of than and then, I can't for the life of me use them correctly, I'm trying lol) To take a break from my spirituality I am an extremely honest, upfront, spontaneous guy. I love hiking more then just about anything, which includes backpacking, hammocking, mountaineering, bouldering, camping, etc. So if you like outdoors stuff and need someone to hike with and go to adoration afterwards then...well if you do those two things then your probably the coolest person ever haha. I know what I want in a women, but I know God knows even better so I'll let him have the final say. I love dressing nicely, it's a prep school thing haha, I love wearing a suit and skinny ties. I also love shopping, which means that clearance shopping is a definite yes for a date idea. When it comes to people I deem valuable and worth it, I give myself and any time or energy I have. I have now realized not everyone deserves my time and effort, relations = 2 way streets.
