There's nothing I believe in more strongly than the fact that we are made for love: to give it and to receive it; to find our greatest fulfillment in the giving of ourselves. This is the way that I intend to live, to the best of my ability, day in and day out. I am a lifelong Catholic and professional musician who loves his faith, his native California, traveling, good cuisine, and culture in all of its forms. In my work as a classical musician, I try to share my love of the faith and the beauty of music with others, and hopefully bring people closer to God through my work. I'm currently in the process of applying for a Master's in choral conducting, looking to enroll in Fall 2017. And if you're looking for some "references", here are three things said about me by some of my friends: 1) "You genuinely care about others"; 2) "You're determined and goal-oriented"; 3) "You'll give anything a solid try." I wish you the best, and may God help you to find your heart's greatest desire!

I consider myself devote catholic and practicing a number of wonderful devotions. I was never married so far and I definitely want to make that important step in the next period of my life. I graduated MSc in Pennsylvania in IT-related field. it gave me the chance to travel around the world. Coming from ex communist eastern Europe to the US, I have seen quite many societal changes happening in the last 27years. The current state of the world is everything but forever. Fatima and other sources give us a rather different picture of what God wants in the world. Hope we can have good talk on these and other topics as good friends first. I prefer informal clothing as seen on my pics. I consider it normal thing at least at home... Jesus wasn't wearing shirt fastened up to his neck either... hehe. However if you'd like to see me with suit to go to opera we can do it.

I am a teacher and educator, and I think that profession, at the university or college level, is my work vocation. Previously, however, I've worked in government in the foreign affairs area, and I have taught in that field at the graduate level. I am from central European family origins, and was raised in a small town in an old Polish-American parish. I've worked professionally on East/Central European affairs, and I have a strong knowledge of the region and appreciation for its cultures. I have some Polish and Russian language ability. My family and its history have been an important influence on me. One of my mentors at college was a famous Polish World War II hero. I enjoy reading, dining and conversing, and seeing historic sites and great art. I love classical music.

I'm most passionate about people. I look forward to learning new things and traveling the world. I am grateful for the learning experiences throughout my life. I love to read, am fortunate to love my work, and on my free time I like to swim, travel, try new foods, and spend time with family and friends. I also enjoy quiet time and meditation, so I try to spend one hour per week in adoration or holy hour. Friends and family would say I am an optimistic and patient person.

I've been a full-time single dad for 8 years, Its been the greatest joy of my life to watch my son grow and to be there everyday for him. He has been the biggest influence on my life. I'm very blessed to have a supportive family, along with some very dear old friends who've been in our lives since the beginning. I make friends and keep them for a long time. I'm loyal to those who've stood by me. The one thing that is most important to me is my faith. I'm constantly reading and searching for ways to grow and to learn the truth, so that when confronted or questioned, or when I find a person in need I am prepared to be a witness. Which often means just being present in the way Christ is present... not preaching or fixing, but listening and guiding. I listen to Father Robert Barron quite frequently on you tube and Word on Fire.org. He has been the single biggest Catholic influence on me. He gives me the ability to reason, to think, and to explain the hope that exists within me. My son asks some big questions. And I always go to Fr. Barron for an answer. In my leisure time I love to hike, long tough exhausting hikes are good for my body and my soul. I travel a lot for work, and when I have free time in a new city, I go hiking. Lately I've fallen in love with the Pacific Northwest. Although I'm not a professional, or by no means experienced, I am adventurous and athletic. I also love to read literature, theology, mysteries, biographies and history. We rarely eat out because I cook every night, which is a passion of mine. Again, I am in no way a professional. But I know my way around the kitchen. I can cook just about anything that has instructions. I'm pretty good at winging it, too. And when confronted by a fridge full of leftovers, I can usually come up with something new and delicious on my own. We eat everything, but it has to be natural/organic. It means shopping a lot for fresh ingredients, but I believe it is worth it.

I was born and raised in the Washington D.C. metro area and have been back in the area since graduating from college. This region still very much appeals to me and I have yet to fully take advantage of the many opportunities here. I particularly like the history in the city and the surrounding region. I consider my life to be a good balance between an active and relaxed lifestyle. I'm interested in staying physically fit, and do so mostly through a regular running routine, though I do vary my activities. I am an outdoor enthusiast in that I enjoy hiking and fishing, or even simply taking a walk in a park. I enjoy skiing, both water and snow, but don't go as often as I would like. Other interests include, but are not limited to, reading (I always seem to have a book going), traveling, checking out historical sites/museums, beer/wine tasting, and attending live music events. Although it can be difficult at times, I'm a loyal Washington sports fan. I'm generally curious and enjoy learning new things. Experiences are more valuable to me than material possessions. I don't stay out late and close down bars as much as I used to, but I can still rally for a good cause. Happy hour is more my style now.

I love being outdoors and active, but I also enjoy reading and watching Netflix. Hiking, biking, camping, reggae, country, classic rock, whisky, cigars, barbequeing, and cruising in my truck. I'll hold the door for you, but I don't have to pay every time (even though I'm happy to). Let's go out and get to know each other!

I love traveling long distances, specifically driving! But during a normal work week, I like to wind down in the evenings with a homemade cocktail, playing the piano or guitar, catching up on a TV show, and even occasionally exercising :) I really am looking for a relationship that will lead to marriage someday, and I guess I haven't been looking in the right places...so I gave in and am giving CM a shot.
