34, Roanoke, VAI hate describing myself so please bare with me. My name is Tony. I am a down to earth person, what you see is what you get. I am loyal, honest, hardworking, caring, compassionate, funny, ambitious, witty, adventuress, competitive and very outgoing. I have very high standards, morals, values and expectations. I refuse to settle for less than what I deserve in life. I am a BIG family guy. I believe that family should come first. I am looking for someone that Has high standards, morals and is big into family. I hope she would have some of my traits. Such as ambitious, hardworking, sense of humor, loyal, conservative that wants something out of life and will have a good time doing it.
29, Suffolk, VAI'm a generally easy going guy - I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, going on long drives and spontaneous adventures. Definitely not the type to sit around and do nothing - rarely watch TV, play video games, that sort of thing. I really enjoy biking, sailing, skiing and I love rowing, though I don't get to do it much these days. Athletic guy (though I'm not terribly coordinated). I'm currently assigned to a Coast Guard cutter in Norfolk, VA. New Hampshire is home, I've lived there all my life, and intend to stay, though work has taken me away, for a while. Love listening to older music, rock and country mostly. Enjoy spending weekends working on my classic truck (cars are my biggest hobby), love to sit in front of the fire and read a good book. Family and religion are both important to me - I am part of a large and close-knit family.I enjoy ballroom and east coast swing dance - though I am still a beginner! I guess you could call me old fashioned - I was raised to be a gentleman, put God and family first, work hard and be self sufficient, stick to my beliefs and be honest and upright. I also learned how to play hard, and I'm just a little reckless/crazy - scars heal one day, and I've got a few.
38, Virginia Beach, VAI am a revert; I was baptized Catholic. I was later baptized Baptist, however, and raised Baptist. I returned to the Catholic Church in 1998. I currently work as a substitute teacher. At the same time, I am currenlty working on going back to school to get my teaching certificate.
33, Virginia Beach, VAI consider myself a pretty simple person. When it comes to dress I prefer to dress comfortably, but on special occasions I know how to impress. I don't need to be rich, but I will give all I have within me to strive to provide the best for my family. I'm old fashioned when it comes to the woman I'm with..I say woman not women because I'm a one woman guy!! I'm a God fearing man..my faith is a huge part of my life. I don't let things get the best of me, I just go with the flow. I'm a very loyal person. My friends and family mean everything to me, and I wouldn't be who I am today without them. I'm shy at first, but once I get comfortable I'm fun to be around (I'm kind of a goof ball, but can be serious when need be). I'm really into fitness. I love doing cross-fit, even though it kicks my butt sometimes...ok most of the time...lol!!
22, Williamsburg, VAI'm currently a full time undergraduate student in Williamsburg. I really love all things Catholic: I love mass, rosaries, adoration, Church et cetera...anything where I can spend time with God. Christ is the center of my life and I would really love to meet someone who shares the same love and passion that I have for Him. I love exploring and being outdoors. That's a very important of aspect in my life. Traveling, hiking and climbing consume huge parts of my free time. Academics are also very important to me: I have high hopes for my future and I take preparation for it very seriously. School & Stuff: I'm currently a student at The College of William and Mary. I'm working on majors in Mathematics and History with a minor in finance. I'm hoping to attend graduate school for Mathematical Finance after this year and pursue a job in quantitative analysis for investment firms.
42, Charlottesville, VAMusic, Faith, and a deep desire to make the world a less harsh, less evil place define who I am and what I try to do every day. In college, I was very privileged to study Music, and I hold three degrees in that field. I specialized in Music Theory and Composition and played trombone as my primary instrument. Today, I work as a Web Developer in Charlottesville, VA and remain active in Music by singing in the choir and cantoring at St. Thomas Aquinas. I also conducted the Gregorian Chant Schola at St. Thomas for three years. I have a deep love for the beauty of traditional liturgy (both Latin and vernacular) as well as the musical treasures of the Church, and I actively campaign for their restoration in the common practice of our Catholic Life. The reality of Beauty in God's creation has preserved my faith through the roughest of times. Communicating and living that Beauty in the liturgy stands as one of the chief duties of the Church in this world. Any small thing I can do to help fulfill that duty, whether by serving myself or helping others to serve, makes me feel like I am doing something to push back against the pain and darkness with which Satan tries to saddle the world. A thing that has really helped me in my life is something St. Augustine said. He said (roughly) that in a fallen world, God does not take the evil away, but He makes the evil less. I try to partner with God to make the evil less both by my musical life and by what I do in my working life. As a web developer, I create and maintain a tool that is used by over 250 people in my company every day--for several hours a day. By paying very careful attention to simple things like the placement of buttons or the progression of an onscreen workflow, I get to make this tool something easy to use rather than something oppressive and frustrating. (In my imagination, there is a committee in Hell that comes up with small, daily annoyances like clamshell packaging and doors that look like you should pull them when you should actually push. I like to conquer those annoyances in my work so that my colleagues won't go home and kick the dog at the end of the day.) In my personal life, I tend to be a hopeless romantic--but not a boyish or cheesy one. My ideal date would be dinner, drinks, conversation, and dancing (in my case probably a bit clumsily) to the timeless melodies of the Great American Songbook. If you think you would like the same, I would love to meet you.
42, Richmond, VAI'm passionate about the Church, my career, and my family. Spending time with friends and outdoors are priorities for me, and when I'm not out and about I enjoy reading a good book. Dostoyevsky and Waugh are personal favorites.
49, Norfolk, VALiving in southern Italy for two years gave me a love of great food and good wine. I enjoy cooking, spending time outdoors in nature paddle boarding or walking my dog, Daisy.
86, Ruckersville, VAI am enthused about the Catholic Church and it's bringing of salvation to all peoples. There are too many to mention here , both Catholic and non religious but all of high moral integrity. Praying, investing, meeting and dining with people of faith.
22, Dugspur, VAJ.M.J Hello my name is Patrick, I live in the mountains of South Western V.A. but go to church in N.C. I have finished up my associates degree from Wytheville Community College and plan to join the United States Marine Corps after I get my bachelor's degree. I like art, good music, animated films and a good story. I come from a large Catholic family and love my faith. I'm not a saint, but I do want to do God's will. My biggest faults are impatience and procrastination. I have an interest in a lot of different types of media-making processes and have some experience in each of them. Pro-Life is very important to me. I believe that life is sacred from conception to natural death and have attended the March for Life the past few years. I have made my consecration as a slave to the Blessed Mother and am a member of the Militia of the Immaculata. I hope to do what God wills for my life. May God be with you, Patrick
28, Virginia Beach, VAI'm Italian-Canadian, in VA Beach studying law. I am passionate about history, government, politics, and I like to hike, visit the beach, and camp.
