54, Vienna, VAIT engineer who likes to discuss scripture, lift weights, see movies, cook, eat, run and socialize. My occupation is project oriented so my schedule can at times get hectic,... this includes weekends. Unfortunately, I have had to make priorities so exercise and socializing sometimes get neglected. Enjoy attending daily Mass, confession, and adoration!
49, Falls Church, VAI fall somewhere between an extrovert and an introvert. I enjoy the outdoors, sports (cycling, soccer, golf, football), theater, good music, museums and an evening at home watching a movie while attempting to cook an edible dinner. On a recent Saturday afternoon, I went to a chili cookoff and during the evening took in a chamber orchestra. Another weekend there was an art festival, baseball game and jazz concert.
49, Sterling, VAI'm a cradle Catholic and cradle conservative. Strong bonds begin with a great friendship. I love to read and discover new things. I love to live life to its fullest each day. I have high standards and values and a warm heart. I love to laugh and have a good time. I love sports of all kinds even though I'm not good at any of it. I try to find humor in everything. I am a caring, sincere, and honest person. I like to stay in shape by working out and eating right. But I've had to scale back a bit recently due a ruptured appendix. God was watching out for me. My daily goal throughout life is to live today better than yesterday and don't forget to stop and smell the flowers. Enjoy life. I can be spontaneous, mysterious and a good motivator. Family & friends say I'm a man of few words. I guess that makes me a good listener. I'm very adaptable to anything. I also have a big heart. No drugs or smoking please. Also, I believe that complete happiness is absolute comfort. Comfort in who you are, mind/body; comfort in your job/career and where you live; comfort with your friends, family and comfort in life. If youre interested, send me a note. Maybe we'll become friends and establish a great foundation for something wonderful later.
47, Virginia Beach, VAHey! How you doin'? ;) Thanks for checking me out. I'll do my best to give a brief synopsis here, but the best way to get to know me is to talk to me. I am deeply devoted to The One True Catholic Faith...but, if I'm honest, I wasn't always that way and took my faith for granted in my youth. I was blessed to be born into the Catholic Church and attended school where the sisters wore habits and wielded paddles (my father encouraged the sisters to use them liberally). However, there was a rebellious desire that rose up as I approached "adulthood," i.e., what I thought was adulthood...yada, yada, yada,...by the grace of God I experienced my 'prodigal son' moment and realized my need of repentance. That was late 2000 or early 2001 and it wasn't a miraculous, total and instantaneous change, but has been a long road with many challenges. I still have a long way to go, but have come a long way from the bartending/party-like-a-rockstar/Animal House lifestyle I once embraced. In 2005, I began attending daily mass and in 2007 I found the courage to attend a traditional latin mass, which is when I really began to deepen my knowledge and understanding of, and true devotion to, The Faith. In '08 or '09, the newly assigned pastor to my parish agreed to be my spiritual director and has helped me immensely since then. I learned to serve low mass, and do so often during the week, unless a change in the mass schedule or my work schedule prevents it. I posted some pictures of the pilgrimage to Italy I accompanied my spiritual director on in 2015 where I was privileged to serve mass in many beautiful churches throughout Italy. It was truly awe-inspiring and I treasure those memories. The only thing missing was a spouse who shares my passion and enthusiasm for the Catholic Faith, culture and traditions. In 2015, the property next to my parish became available, so I seized the opportunity and now I can walk to church in a little less than 200 steps (if I take the long way). I did the best I could to find duck-blind draperies that matched the camouflage pattern wall paper, but the house could still really use a woman's touch. Can you finish taming the beast? :)

67, Alexandria, VAThank you for viewing my profile. Please know that I am praying for your success in your search -- perhaps you'll find it here. One thing is for sure: We're all in this together. I am positive, active, and happy with the simple things of life. I am loyal to people and to my commitments and pursuits. I try to be kind, gentle, and respectful to all of God's creatures, children especially. I have a serious, introspective side, but I appreciate and enjoy humor. I love a good, hearty laugh, and I can laugh at myself. I like to play and to be playful. I have been active for years in many church-related and other volunteer activities, and am strongly pro-life. My intellectual interests are many and varied -- art, literature (poetry, drama, history), math, science, computers, and mechanical things. I love to stroll through cities, old towns, woodlands, the outdoors, and art galleries. I realize that, having never been married, I am on the road less traveled, and you may be on a different road. Even so, I hope you will at least consider me for the journey ahead.
