52, Bristow, VAHi from Virginia! To introduce myself, I would say that I am passionate about God and his creation, my Catholic Faith, my family, my friends. I enjoy my work and want to do it well, but I wouldn't say I'm passionate about it. I look forward to doing other things outside work. Those "other things" include excercise and hiking, spending time with good friends, leading a Bible study, attending lectures and talks. I am blessed to live in an area that affords me with wonderful opportunities to learn more about my faith and to participate in cultural activities (lots of museums are nearby!). What I look forward to the most is finding and marrying the love of my life, although I am very aware that only God will truly satisfy my heart. I recently purchased a house very near my work and I have been busy getting settled. I am excited about learning the art of hospitality. I look forward to having family and friends over. The people that have been most influential in my life would have to be my parents! In addition I've been blessed to know some really great people through FOCUS and one of my best friends is now a catholic priest in Arlington diocese. With my leisure time I enjoy working on my house, hiking the many beautiful trails and mountains in Virginia.
36, Richmond, VAHello, and thank you for viewing my profile... I'm somewhat of a shy person, but warm up quickly and am affectionate with the people I'm close to. I consider myself a romantic...am generally laid back, joke often and tend to look on the bright side of life. I have a soft spot in my heart for Little Ones and animals of all kinds. God, my Faith, Family and Friends are most important in my life, and I hope to share them with someone special. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading and learning (try to read the Bible daily), bold coffee, watching movies, drawing and art related projects, wandering through museums, golfing, bowling, playing music (bass guitar), exercising (although I'm just now slowly getting back into it), and sipping on a nice glass of dry red wine or indulging in the occasional, but not often cigar or pipe with friends, etc... Would really like to take up snowboarding during the snowy wintry months... Lastly, I put 7 out of 7 because the Church teaches Truth - however, that doesn't mean I don't or won't struggle with the want of intimacy. I've failed in this area before. I'm hoping that my partner and I can help each other stay strong, because I know that realistically it's tough in this area.
23, Charlottesville, VAAfter 22 years, I still don't know enough about myself to know where to start! I just don't like talking about myself. I'd rather learn about others! But I do know and am proud of the fact that I am unashamedly kind, loving, respectful, creative, conservative, and Catholic! Self-employed economic researcher and published fantasy author who in enamored with history, philosophy, art, literature, music, and food! My leisure time usually involves reading a good book, playing the piano, or having lunch with some friends when we can get together! Looking for someone Catholic who is willing to share the good and bad and enjoy life as a whole. I'm part Spanish, Italian, and Cuban so food, wine, and family are the pearl in life's little oyster. Huge fan of classical music, film music, reading good books, swimming, playing tennis, and hammering out on the piano! I would love to call myself an "amateur" composer but I'm afraid I'm not even good enough to qualify as that. Nevertheless, I still love to write music! O and I also make killer homemade ice cream... just a passing thought... Otherwise, life is just an experience you're willing to live! Would love to hear from you!

28, Newport News, VAHi, my name is Nathaniel. The section about carriers on these sites is always hard to fill in. I am a Metrology Technician. That's why it says, "Other." I am the oldest of six. I grew up in Gloucester. I am a closet nerd. I like movies, most of the music that exists, and I love food. I mean I can cook pretty awesomely.
25, Fredericksburg, VAI currently work on the southside of Richmond. My hobbies include reading primarily about the history of Western civilization and politics. My current occupation keeps me in school part time at least for now.
24, Alexandria, VAI am mostly passionate about singing! Singing anything! My mother and father have very fond memories of me singing quietly to sleep as a little child. I was singing before I was talking. I always look forward to opportunities to sing more. One of the strongest influences in my life has been one of my closest friends. He was the first example of a man, besides my father, who put himself out there for people. He inspired me to more vulnerable. I also cannot leave out the profound influence my mother had on me. Throughout my whole upbringing she pushed me to do things I was not comfortable with, and she also helped me find out what I was good at and what I wanted to do, which was to pursue a career in music. In my leisure time I like to laugh, improvise on the piano, take a walk outside, and make small talk with my roommates that turns into big talk. I also occasionally like to take less traveled routes home when I'm driving. The same way all the time bores me. And last, but definitely not least, I love to sing in my leisure time!
76, Portsmouth, VAI am passionate about doing, being, and becoming that destiny God chose for me. This passion came into focus over 25 years ago when I left what I call the "rat race" of greed and materialism and devoted my life to discovering what my role would be: "To do what I could do to help the most people." At that point and as a man of science, my gut was telling me that my role would have to go much deeper than just science. I would have to enter the depths of my soul, searching to find these answers. I knew I could find some good answers. I could feel it coming from depths of my body, my soul and my spirit. And they came, answers to questions I perceived God was asking me to consider namely: 1. Who are we? 2. Where are we now? 3. Where have we been? 4. Where are we going? By searching and researching with meditation and prayer answers began to emerge and converge. This revelation unfolded as an integration. The integration of science and soul evolving as a unity of the two and becoming a non-dual spiritual union focused on working together with God. It became clear to me that we needed to become more involved in seeking wholeness and healing not only personally but together with others. My personal transformation began in my mid thirties as I began reading scripture as a lector and then in depth using the Jerusalem Bible as my guide. As a scientist my hero was Albert Einstein. But the real fire in my belly was ignited as I began to read the works of the Jesuit Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. In concert with this effort the work of Carl Jung the noted depth psychologist played an important role. But the major influence in my work was a deep desire to more fully understand the mission and role of Christ Jesus. The seeds having been planted, by my late forties, growth and fruitful ideas began to emerge . I began to travel, interact and share the results with those who might listen or resonate with them. Writings in journals, stories, prose, poetry, and a multitude of research reports began to find their way on the internet. The essential message of my work is unity a unity based on a deeper understanding of the Archetypal Christ. Today, I am moved everytime I hear Pope Francis speak because the base of his message in my opinion is unity. Yes, I am a serious person with a serious mission. But I deeply love people and enjoy their company as well. I celebrate the reality of Christmas everyday. Looking for that special someone to share my joy!
