I spent four years in the Air Force. Best decision that i have ever made. Moved to Virginia back in 2010 to work for DoD as a civilian. I have degrees in both chemical engineering and chemistry. I am an easy going guy who likes to play sports especially basketball. Also, I like hiking and bird watching. Any fun outdoor recreational activity is more than welcome.

I am a revert; I was baptized Catholic. I was later baptized Baptist, however, and raised Baptist. I returned to the Catholic Church in 1998. I currently work as a substitute teacher. At the same time, I am currenlty working on going back to school to get my teaching certificate.

A little bit about myself, my faith is definitely a priority in my life. I am very passionate about youth ministry and giving back. It is so rewarding to be able to share my faith to the next generation and to watch hearts be given over to God for the first time. I play guitar, so praise and worship has been a huge factor in my faith. It has been the vessel in my conversion and how God reveals to me His love. Otherwise, I am pursuing my career to be able to support a family. I am dedicated to creating a foundation for myself that I can use to help others.

Adventurous, fun, laid back, and genuine describe me pretty well. Lots of people say I have an old soul too. My favorite things consist of surfing, reading, praying, going to Mass, hiking, and just simply staying active. I'm an easy-going person and appreciate people who are fun to get along with and down to earth.

"Whatever you do, do from the heart, as for the Lord and not for others." -Col. 3:23 I strive to incorporate a ministry approach into everything I do. I currently go to graduate school full-time, work with a financial firm part-time, and coach youth volleyball in my spare time. I always go into each situation with clients or players praying, "How can I best serve this client/player and bring them closer to You, Lord?" I'm very humbled by the opportunities and platforms God has given me to spread His name and His word.

My profile picture makes me look like I need a helmet and a drool cup. It's either use that one (and look a little dopey), or sit around taking selfies (and feel a little creepy). I'm 5'9" (but I put 5'11" on my license). I have to stop the microwave before it beeps. I make lists for just about everything. I'm not particularly smooth, but I'm honest and fun to be around.

Imagine this (its pure fiction): Its never happened in real life, so I doubt youll be able to identify with this scenario, just imagine it Your parents are running errands, so you know youll have the house all to yourself for a few hours. Your girlfriend is on her way to your house where no one will be there to bother you. Youre both involved in your parish ministry. You both know God, your faith and the doctrines and teachings of the Catholic faith. You also like each other a lot! Hormones are raging. You havent had time to yourselves in a while. Theres been no time for intimacy, peace or time to calmly be together with no one around. Almost like a spiritual retreat but with your girlfriend. How can you still be Catholic without dying in the battle? How do you continue loving your girlfriend while living out your faith? How can we sync whats in our head and heart with whats in our physical desires? Ill tell you how I did it: Together with, Natalie, my wife, we dated for close to 10 years. The first four years were before our encounter with Christ. A year after that, we participated in different communities in our parishes, living out our conversions both together and individually. We then dated with Christ as our center for five more years. Weve now been married for three and a half years and have a child together. We know first hand how intense sexual tension can be when youre together with the person you love the most, the person youre attracted to, and the one who gives you butterflies. The idea isnt to sweep these emotions under the rug and pretend nothing is happening; the point of all this is to treat this as a reality through our Catholic faith. This is why we must fight this battle with the necessary armor, and later help those whom we minister to. I honestly think these tips helped us; however, its not a recipe or method, its simply our testimony and it may help you, too. Most of all, I hope you can add more tips and ways to help others to successfully survive these situations. Your witness to commitment, faithfulness and chastity can be the best story ever written that someone can read. Take heart!

I've lived a rough life. Jesus saved me, opened my eyes. Now I'm at peace. I'm a new covert. I take it real serious. I'm a knight. I do alot of church activities. I work hard. I enjoy the beach, fishing, hanging with friends, watching sports, kayaking, motorcycles. I love music. I'm an out going person. But I also like cuddling on couch watching movies. Or playing board games.

Hello, my name is Paul. I come from a large Catholic family of 7. I have 4 brothers, we are all a year apart and I am number 4 out of 5. God has gifted me with a curiosity that cannot be contained and has resulted in a wide range of interests from engineering to creating music to trading stocks. My greatest interest of course is getting to heaven and my Faith is the compass guiding me in all my adventures.

Without giving all of myself away before correspondence, I'd say I'm like a finely tuned laser beam; I am an intense person, fueled by my faith which I channel into whatever goal on which I am focused. I'm a light-hearted, very spiritual, and hard-working (insofar as I'm working) man. I've been on several journeys, with almost disparate ends (which I didn't/haven't yet reached), in life and am currently discerning, at the ripened age of 31, the final journey to undertake. In high school, I was intent on developing my bass-baritone voice to become a classical/opera singer, a lofty, head-in-the-clouds goal which never really materialized and I abandoned before going on to college. I attended the University of Virginia where I swung back-and-forth between different majors, minors, and concentrations but wound up with a math major B.A. I thereafter discovered a passion for teaching and went on to earn a Master's of Education (secondary math education) from Old Dominion University. Student-teaching was quite an ordeal; teaching five different classes and three different subjects, I got to befriend a lot of students and experiment with different strategies. But before committing to and settling down in the teaching profession, I took yet another radical turn in deciding to pursue a possible vocation to the Priesthood. I attended St. Mary's Seminary for three years, studying philosophy for a year and theology for two years. I then did an internship year at a parish in Virginia. I discerned the Priesthood full throttle, committing myself to prayer, study, and pastoral care at parishes and hospitals. Priestly formation was filled with memorable, invaluable, and truly formative moments; I was blessed to have met and worked with many seminarians, parishioners, and priests who remain important to me. After four years of formation, I was still unsure that the Priesthood is the vocation to which I am called and am therefore taking at least two years "off" to discern the lay life, a major component of which is of course dating and intimate relationships with females, to which I, a down-to-earth, fun-loving guy, am drawn. I enjoy reading (theology, economics, and fiction, especially classics and fantasy), working out (weightlifting and running), playing video games (strategy [e.g., Total War] and some RPG [like Witcher]), (occasionally) watching TV (Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, 24, etc.), and good times with friends (eating and drinks).

*I am in the process of converting to catholicism.* From San Diego, CA originally but have lived in Virginia Beach for a few years now due to work. I'm currently a Military officer but transitioning to the medical field. My focus after college was on my professional aspirations, but I've come to realize that family is the most important thing in life. Love dogs but don't have any of my own yet. Moderate to conservative political views, and improving my relationship with god every day. My demeanor is calm, collected, and laid back. An active, healthy, balanced lifestyle is key; I exercise daily. Traveling and learning new things are passions of mine, can't get enough. Education and intelligence is important and constantly strive to better myself.
