28, Arlington, VAThere's nothing I believe in more strongly than the fact that we are made for love: to give it and to receive it; to find our greatest fulfillment in the giving of ourselves. This is the way that I intend to live, to the best of my ability, day in and day out. I am a lifelong Catholic and professional musician who loves his faith, his native California, traveling, good cuisine, and culture in all of its forms. In my work as a classical musician, I try to share my love of the faith and the beauty of music with others, and hopefully bring people closer to God through my work. I'm currently in the process of applying for a Master's in choral conducting, looking to enroll in Fall 2017. And if you're looking for some "references", here are three things said about me by some of my friends: 1) "You genuinely care about others"; 2) "You're determined and goal-oriented"; 3) "You'll give anything a solid try." I wish you the best, and may God help you to find your heart's greatest desire!
35, Ashburn, VAWhether it's work, entertainment or conversation, I like things that make me think. I tend to want to solve puzzles in one form or another which is why I like to play board games and video games. I also like to travel, hike, take photos and swim. I don't generally like to just sit on the beach, though. I want to be doing something. I worked hard in my education so that I could find a job that I find interesting and fulfilling but most importantly so that I can have job security and eventually support a family. Without that motivation, I would never have gotten this far. Unfortunately, I don't find my current job interesting or fulfilling, but I'm hopeful that I'll find something better. As I indicated in the multiple choice, my faith is important to me. I see it first and foremost as the fulfillment of an obligation, but its more than that. Without it, I cant see accomplishments having much meaning. Its a source of comfort, strength and hope in difficult times. Also, I like to argue theology and philosophy with people, so its good fun too.
32, Alexandria, VAHello! I am a ridiculously goodlooking, charming, intelligent, dashing, honest, and totally humble teenage heart-throb. I grew up and went to school (EE major) in California before moving to DC for work. I miss my family and friends back home and visit whenever I can. I do typical guy stuff like go to the gym, hang out with friends, compare biceps, and shop for flannels. I love snowboarding and have been to most of the major resorts in the US of A. My roommate / climbing partner fell while rockclimbing b/c he didn't tie the knot correctly ... so I can't really do that anymore =[ ... said the fall hurt his pride more than his ankle. Teaching Sunday School takes up quite a bit of my time and energy but I love every minute of it. I've encountered the entire gamut of childhood dysfunction and idiocy and have lived to tell the tale. But seriously, they're the highpoint of my week and I hope I'm having a positive impact on them. My mom says I'm handsome and fun to be around.

25, Fredericksburg, VAI am an elementary physical education teacher and enjoy being outside and active. I like to go hiking as much as possible and am a big runner. Family is very important to me and I am big into helping others as much as possible.
32, Vienna, VAI never know what to write in these. I'm the first of 9 kids and moved to the Washington-area 5 years ago. It seems like half that amount of time has passed. Its true what they see about time flying when you're having fun! :). I grew up near Chicago, Illinois and had ready access to a rail-trail (like W&OD in Northern Virginia). The quiet on these trails is a welcome respite from the crazy urban environment we call HOME. I try to walk on the W&OD regularly for the R&R as well as enjoying the beautiful countryside.
20, McLean, VAHi, I'm Ian. I'm 20 and have one younger brother. After taking a post-high school gap year to earn some money and show I can hold a job (check!), I'm currently in full time college planning to major in government. I'm doing this because I want to find a way to serve my country and community after I graduate. So who am I? I am someone who thinks that the most important things in life are my faith, my family (the one I was born into and the one I hope to have someday), and love for others. I try to keep things in that order, but nobody's perfect, right? I'm a lifelong New Englander, but I was born in the Bavarian Alps when my parents were stationed there, and I love that part of the world. I'm a proud Eagle Scout and love doing things in the outdoors in any season. I also love movies and live performances, especially musicals and operas. My favorite restaurants are Asian. I love sushi and the hibachi show never gets old. Perhaps my favorite thing to do is to share my interests, and explore new ones, with people I care about. I enjoy talking about current events, history, and books, and I also like to learn about what other people care about. I also savor a good joke or riddle. The cornier the better! Oh yeah, I also love to dance, so it would be great if you want to close down the dance floor with me.

22, Falls Church, VAI love traveling long distances, specifically driving! But during a normal work week, I like to wind down in the evenings with a homemade cocktail, playing the piano or guitar, catching up on a TV show, and even occasionally exercising :) I really am looking for a relationship that will lead to marriage someday, and I guess I haven't been looking in the right places...so I gave in and am giving CM a shot.
