46, Snoqualmie, WAMy name is John. I am an independent, laid-back but hard-working guy with very definite traditional values. I've never been married and have no children. My folks have been married for 47years. While I'm close to them, I live alone. I have two older brothers, one married. Actually, my irregular work hours make it difficult to find the kind of person I'd like to meet. I love stimulating conversation, am a good listener, and have been told I'm somewhat intuitive. I like kids and someday hope to have my own. Although I don't have any pets I do like dogs. I love to laugh and feel laughter is good medicine. Comic Satire is my favorite and I try not to miss Saturday Night Live.

34, Everett, WAI am always reading something or another. I prefer to spend time with my family over going out, unless going out means camping or hiking. I love the outdoors. I spend a lot of time with my nieces, and my nephew (who is in the picture with me). Making and listening to music is a big part of my life. I am incapable of taking a good selfie. I am a very contemplative person. I'm heading to Morocco (God willing) right before Halloween (2016) to continue my studies in Arabic. I have a sort of obsession with the Greek language. A long time ago I got hit over the head by poetry, and I've never been very prosaic ever since.

18, Maple Valley, WAIf you're reading this far, then I guess I've passed the hardest test--getting someone's attention. Good so far. I want to get the most out of my life and believe that can't happen until I find a person to share it with. I come from a family of eight, and have one younger brother. My parents have been hands down the greatest influence in my life. Their unwavering dedication, sacrifices and all that they have done for me and my siblings never cease to impress me and bear witness to their real love for us. I enjoy the natural environment, going on hikes and adventures, Spanish and exercise (although I'm not super fit). I just graduated from high school in June and am attending a local college.

64, Spokane, WAAs it says, retired, available to travel, love to cook, want to try deep sea fishing, the ocean. I awoke. When I raised my arms, stirred my knees, turned my neck; everything went creak creak creak. I realized I wasn't old, just crunchy.
