70, Tacoma, WAI am a low key guy who appreciates the beauty of nature, the wonders of God's creation.I respect and easily adapt to different races and cultures, being an Asian of Filipino heritage living in the United States. I don't judge right away but I look first at the good side of everything, because I believe that all of us are good and everything happens for a reason. So I understand and forgive easily and apologize for my own errors in judgement. My secret is I use humor to accept what life is offering me and I just laugh at my own silly mistakes.. I thank the Lord for giving me a good and healthy body and mind. A man in his 60s, but still feeling young and actively working 2 jobs in the field of medical/health services. I was an architect and a musician before coming to the US. I still play the piano for my friends and other paying clientele. Unhealthy habits and lifestyles and worrying too much over nothing, sometimes, are the things I always avoid. If any problems arise, I dont just sulk and fret over it but I try to dig deeper for the solutions. But if I can't, I just take it easy and let God rule over me. It lightens the load and clears my soul. The cross is still there but at least I can carry it with a smile.
34, Seattle, WAMartin Luther King jr once said that if you want to say I was a drum major, say I was a drum major for righteousness, not for having multiple underage mistresses despite being married, because all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and have need of his mercy.
29, Seattle, WAHi! I'm Tom. I'm passionate about my job which is teaching and about swimming/hiking. I spend a lot of time doing physical activities or exploring the outdoors. I love hiking to new places or going for bike rides. I also love reading. Occasionally, I like to watch a movie or go on a Netflix binge. I like sitting in a coffee shop and reading the advertisements. My favorite night of the week is Monday night because it is swim night. I swim with an adult team, and it is so relaxing for me and also social. I would say that a few people have been very influential in my life. First, my dad. He has taught me many things like discipline, generosity and light-heartedness. He was a teacher and coach most of his life, and I always wanted to be just like him. I always go to him for advice. Another person who has been very influential is my philosophy teacher from college Dr. Wirth. He brought so much energy to the classroom, and you could tell how much he cared about his students. I loved being in his class and seeing him everyday. He is an inspiration to me. In my leisure time, I'm probably outside. I feel a strong connection to my creator through nature and enjoy seeing mountains, snow and water. I also enjoy going out to movies or to get some food. Sometimes, a board game at home is a fun past time.
57, Seattle, WAI am passionate about life and I try to make the most of every day. I am family oriented and spending time with them is important. I am optimistic and always try to find the best in situations and in people. I am not judgmental and I believe who we are is what makes us beautiful. Compassion, kindness and empathy are qualities that I possess.. I have a wonderful/personal relationship with God. I try to be as healthy as I can in mind, body and spirit. I love the Yankees and Giants, and like to go to the Stadiums to see them play. Sunday's in the Fall are the best! I love dining out, but eating at home can be fun too. I like going to the movies and watching movies at home. Traveling is a passion and my goal is to go to all 7 continents and all 50 states (driving through doesn't count!). I am looking for someone special to share my life. A sense of humor is important because life shouldn't be so serious all the time; the ability to laugh at ourselves makes life less stressful. Having things in common is important but differences are good too.
47, Spokane, WAI'm passionate about the Lord, and the mystery of faith, life in general! I read and pray daily, and I look forward most to gatherings with family and friends.
