  • Shawn, 34 from Seattle, WA
    34, Seattle, WA
I love spending the summer out on Hood Canal. Clamming, fishing, crabbing, golfing, and playing basketball are some of my favorite activities. I am very close with my family, and have a 2-year-old nephew who lives in Ballard with my sister and brother-in-law. I work in the finance office for a local corporation. I am hoping to spend the rest of my career with my current company as they treat their employees very well. In addition, I volunteer at my church on a regular basis.

I enjoy the simple things in life: health, home, family and community. I work hard, but I know how to relax too. I'm looking for a kind, spiritual, ambitious and balanced woman to add to my life. Lets have some fun, build our home and community, and make a great life together. Faith has taught me humility, patience and to be thankful. Being a father has cemented those virtues. I enjoy going to mass more and more as I "grow up". When I was a kids, we always went to mass, but my parents didn't know how to teach it to us so that we knew what it was to be a spiritual being. It seemed like rules that you had to think about. Most kids don't have the awareness of their spiritual self. Faith can be fragile and my understanding of it has been challenged and affirmed. I want to meet a person who wants to take the same journey with me.
  • Joe, 66 from Seattle, WA

I have been in my profession (radio and voice-overs) since I was 18 years of age. I love it because it is always challenging and different. I also call and play in Contra dance bands which has led to some travel and is one of my favorite activities. I've done some M.C. work, acting and comedy. I have a grown son and completed the annulment process. I want to share my life. I'm open to marriage but looking for someone with a heart for God that wants a friend first.

I am a Seattle native, I have a mechanical mind, I like restorations of any kind, If it casts a shadow it's restorable, I like working with my hands, I'm rather good at it. I like road trips and camping, I used to hike, bike, ski and rollerblade a lot more than now. I bet I can be talked into it again. There was a time that I enjoyed cuttin a rug. I am a grandpa. I work a modified swing shift so that would have to be OK, Looking forward to the next phase in this life, it's important for myself to share the rest of it here with someone that has the same faith base. I am in the process of simplification . To devote more time to the faith and a possible relationship shared within it. I am looking for a godly woman, who applies biblical principles in her life and is led by the Holy Spirit. One can already distinguish between a godly and an ungodly woman by just seeing how she dresses, no matter how much she professes Jesus. If her clothing is very sensual and a frame for her body, then God hates it. If it is a frame for her face then He is pleased. To have the 7 questions here answered with 7 Yes is already a good clue that she is led by the Holy Spirit, has denied herself, put up her cross and is following Jesus, precisely like He asked us to do in Luke 9:23 (Then he said to them all: Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me."). To live a chaste life according to the will of God as a single is actually only possible if the soul is being transformed by and filled with the Holy Spirit. Without the help of God this task will be impossible for a human over time. This is the precise reason why many here on this site don't have all the 7 questions answered with a Yes. They're still doing their own thing, not denying themselves and having God on their own terms, getting most out of life with all the sinful pleasures and simultaneously hoping for eternal salvation. The No-answers that are given coincide mostly in premarital sex and contraception, which the Church clearly condemns as grave sins. Premarital sex is not only condemned by the Catholic Church, but by all known major Protestant denominations as well. Why? Because Jesus Himself taught this, and He set the standard very high: Matthew 5:27,28 "You have heard that it was said, You shall not commit adultery. But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." That includes premarital sex and is the very reason why a woman shouldn't dress very sensual, to avoid provoking the man to commit this sin. Jesus predicted that on Judgment Day there will be many who will be condemned due to their very own life-style of disobedience, while going to a Church building on every Sunday without any change of heart and mind: Matthew 7:21-23 "Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and... in your name perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, I never knew you. Away from me you evildoers!'"
  • Sylvester, 31 from Seattle, WA
    31, Seattle, WA
A little about myself - I'm very outgoing and I make new friends pretty easily. I have a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and work in that field. In addition to that, I'll be going for an MBA soon. I work hard during the week so I don't feel guilty when I play hard during the weekends. I'm very open-minded, always up to try new things, and I know I can make you laugh ;) I absolutely love music and dancing! You'll find artists in my music collection from every decade and almost every genre. I also like to watch movies and TV but, of course, only if there's nothing better going on out on the town ;) I've also found myself being drawn more to outdoor adventures and activities like hiking, camping, rafting, e.t.c. I'm a proud Catholic and I try to become a better one everyday. I believe having a Catholic life partner by my side will definitely make that easier. Being a bachelor is lots of fun but I feel it's time to find someone who I can start a family with and settle down. It's a short introduction but I feel like I have a good amount of information in the details section below. If there's anything else you'd like to know, please ask away because I've got plenty more to share! I try to respond to every message. Not feeling a connection does not stop me from making new friends.
  • Jacob, 37 from Seattle, WA
    37, Seattle, WA
Hello there. As I hope you've guessed, my name is Jacob. Those numbers after my name don't really have anything to do with me. I've had a very difficult time meeting single, Catholic ladies, so here I am. I'm a quiet guy, but am not shy and have a dry/sarcastic sense of humor. I enjoy outdoor activities, especially on or near water. I'm a Seahawks and Mariners fan, but can't bring myself to follow the Sounders. I just can't get into soccer. I enjoy cooking, dining out, gaming, and movies. I have a small dog that I like to take for walks at various beaches. He's hilarious because he believes it's his sacred duty to keep all birds away and can really create a scene. Good times. Anyway, I'm a life long Catholic and want to continue to grow in my faith. If you can help me, I'll help you. Deal?

Here, my 'swagger': life, adventure, sports, and art; I'm eager to edify my house on rock and see children home with faith, family and friendship. God's love, through the sacraments, has been the most influential "experience" in my life.

  • Ross, 26 from Seattle, WA
    26, Seattle, WA
I was born and raised in a strong Catholic family and it has helped shaped who I am today. I am from all small island town in southeast Alaska and just moved to Seattle to start grad school at the University of Washington. One thing I am very passionate about, and what I am studying in school, is classical music. I get an incredible amount of joy performing at mass and getting to work with younger kids as well. Other things that are important to me: my family, my faith, exercise, fishing and the outdoors (I get that from growing up in AK!). I am a pretty shy person, but I'm always looking to meet new people. I was a little hesitant to sign up for online dating, but I figured, what the heck!

Seeking: a woman who is down to earth and attractive inside and out. An active faith life is critical. About me: Aren't smiles, laughter, and a positive attitude amazing? They are contagious. I'm trying to develop that side, though admittedly I lean toward the intellectual and serious side more of the time. I am fun loving however, and I seek out those types of people. I'll take a warm smile and a fun loving spirit over "hot" any day of the week. Of course it's great to find charm in an attractive, wholesome person. Oh and let's not forget a good intellect! I am attracted to calm, self assured women with good character. The character element is critically important; not just honesty and integrity, but sincerity, humility, vulnerability, the ability to forgive and be forgiven. I'm really talking about all the fruits of the Spirit here. The Holy Spirit has to be in both of us to become the foundation of a great relationship. I am affectionate and passionate. I long for that tender soul connection with a good woman. I have a lot of love to give to Mrs Right. I have three adult children and a nearly empty nest. They are real treasures to me: happy, well adjusted people. I'm sure I had a hand in that. Chemistry is hard to predict. It starts with physical attraction, but needs to go way beyond that. For starters let's talk on the phone and take it from there.
