Aloha! I'm rather shy but not the creepy kind. Despite the shyness, I am a KARAOKE fool; well sort of, not that good of singer but my little sister and I have so much fun doing it. Have my morals and do my best to stick to them. Grew up on a small farm in the country with my 4 brothers and sisters, didn't really realize how country I was until I moved to a city a few years back. My family is very close and very dear. I'm edjamacated in psychology, even got a master's in it. This fall I will get to teach a course at the college I work at in addition to my other duties and I'm excited/nervous about that but it will be cool to be Professor Michael. And, once again, I'm not like creepy-quiet, just a little shy but usually make friends pretty easily. Hoping to meet a nice, like minded, strong Catholic young woman who also hopes to have a family. Sorry that I'm not terribly handsome, but I do wear size 14 EE shoes... :) Malama and Aloha!

I am a laid back guy. I am growing more and more in my faith. I do my best to adhere to Catholic teaching on sex and morality. I am divorced and don't yet have an annulment but if God were to bring about the right person I definitely would. I have a tremendous devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Blessed Mother, and St. Therese of Lesieux. My faith is more than casual. I work with adolescents on a psych unit. I am also getting my health in order. I am a songwriter, and love to write music to pray by. My parents were both very committed Catholics. My mother died at home from Alzheimer's with these words coming from my father, "Good morning my beautiful bride, I love you!" At that she took her last breath. That was the love I experienced in my home. We are imperfect and frail creatures, when I fall I get back up and try again. Love, honesty, the Sacraments, service to others, and forgiveness are the key to a happy life. I've alternately done missionary work, donated time at the house of Charity and taken care of an elderly man for several years. I have a very good sense of humor when I'm relaxed and comfortable. I am more conservative in my political leanings, but am moving more to a Catholic outlook because there is too much hatred in his world. It needs the light and love of Christ.

I am a very devout Catholic man and my Catholic faith is the most important thing to me in my life. For over 10 years, I have been a member of the Secular Franciscan Order, a lay order in the Catholic Church. I am also active in the Knights of Columbus. I attend daily Mass very often, and pray the Rosary, Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and Morning and Evening Prayer daily. My interests include being part of a Catholic Toastmasters Club oriented to public speaking, and a member of a chess club where I have played in many tournaments. I enjoy socialising and playing card and board games.

I look forward to Mass each Sunday. I consider my self to be in the generation of Paul VI, John Paul I, John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI, and reigning Pope Francis. All my teachings are from Vacatian 2, revised 2011. I am a single mature male and have a excellent circle of professionals in my life, and very gifted friends. I enjoy the different communications and expressed cultures in our conversations.

Welcome to my profile! I enjoy going to mass and experiencing the sacraments. I am passionate about going to mass and getting good grades. During a trip at Beyond Malibu, I climbed a mountain and that was life changing because I began discussing my spirituality and seeing God in those struggles. In my leisure time, I enjoy to cook and run and lift weights and pray and go to mass and play the piano and listen to One Republic and other bands. Thank you, I will be science teacher in a few years as of today.
