Hi my name is Dan. I am on here to meet different people and eventually someone I want to build a relationship with. I want someone who I can call my best friend. Its hard to describe myself in a short paragraph on here. I am honest, hardworking, and loyal and I want to meet someone who is the same. I would like my other half to be a good communicator and outgoing. I am a little shy at first but open up after getting to know someone better. If you want to know more about me, dont be afraid to message me :-)

After 38 years of marriage, I became widowed, somewhat unexpectedly. During the last 11-12 years, I found myself becoming more involved as a caregiver. Retired after having a (very) small business for about 20 years. Currently involved in volunteer work and parish council activities. Some specifics include a homeless shelter for adults, and right-to-life activities. My viewpoints are largely conservative; however, they lean toward being more liberal in terms of treating people in conformance with Catholic teachings. Generally, I'm a low-key type of person. As far as preferences, I enjoy people with a sense of humor -- from puns to dry wit. Kidding around with people (and being kidded right back) is fun, provided kidding isn't intended to be insulting or demeaning. Attending weekly Mass is a must, along with occasional extra worship services. Because of a history of shoulder injuries, participation in sports is considered nil. Non-smoker and non-drinker. Getting together with family is important on holidays; we don't do much socializing because of our vastly different ways of life, but phone and email contact happens fairly often. Friends are important -- to give support and receive it; also to add to enjoying life. Animal friends are important, too. Currently I'm the proud father of a dog and cat at home. We had one child -- a daughter, who is now happily married with 2 daughters of her own. The best job I have ever had is that of being a "grandpa". It's so enjoyable to watch the "little people" grow and develop. The oldest granddaughter (now 4) is already whipping me in debates. Either she's a genius, or I've become dumb. A current personal improvement activity is dance lessons (ballroom style). It's going a bit slow, partially because at this age, the body parts don't always want to cooperate. Not much of an outdoor person--I would guess in part because of a large city yard to mow, and the fact there is no outside air-conditioning in the summer. Of course, the opposite occurs in winter -- with snow removal and no heat out there. Board games were fun and I'd like to get back into them. Already got with the times and have been playing Mexican Train Dominoes. Long range plans are open, but I plan to remain in the area. This should do for now (I hope). I also hope this can be modified after I see some of the brilliant write-ups on this site. Blessings to all who might spend time reading this.

Hi there! Well, I would have to describe myself as a pretty laid-back type of a guy. I enjoy spending my time with friends and family. I get along with all types of people. You know, short people, tall people. I am a well-rounded person. In one instance you can find me at a dinner party dressed in a fine suit reciting ancient Greek poetry. Yet, later I can be just as comfortable at a punk rock show rocking out. Okay okay so maybe I exaggerated the part about reciting ancient Greek poetry. I do enjoy the good things in life however. I 've spent a good part of my life studying and working hard to get where I'm at. So I do value free time and try to enjoy it as much as I can with friends and family. I really have enjoyed this ride we call life so far. This ride does go by fast just like a rollercoaster. My goal is to find someone to enjoy this ride with. I would love to find someone that is kind, beautiful, and has a sense of humor. If this site can help me reach this goal then it is well worth the time and effort. I do hope to travel in the future. I often dream of going to Spain. I have also been drawn to Argentina and Chile. I think it has to do with me watching " The Motorcycle Diaries". The romanticism of that movie really drew me in. Anyways, I am starting to ramble. I think the point is I would love to find that person to make this journey with. Could it be you? No? Ah, that's okay. Thanks for stopping by!

Hi there, so for starters I'm currently a second degree nursing student in the area looking to meet other young Catholics. I'm a pretty laid back guy that likes to have a good time. Some things I like to do for fun are being outdoors, watching/going to sporting events (huge Packers/Brewers fan), grilling foods, watching movies, going to fairs/festivals, biking, and fishing. I think I'm a pretty down to earth guy who enjoys the simple things in life. My Catholic faith, family, and friends are what I value most in my life so finding someone who shares that same quality would be great.

I'm an optimist and a dreamer; I try not to take life too seriously. I'm almost painfully shy (less so online than in person). I tend to see the world differently than most people, which tends to cause some confusion and misunderstandings. I'm an archaeologist. My work is on a project-by-project basis and I often have a lot of down time between project. When I do have work, I travel, mostly around the Midwest. Because of my vagabond lifestyle, I don't have a place of my own; I rely on the hospitality of my kin-folk when I'm between jobs. However this lifestyle is starting to wear on me, so I'm looking into a new career - beekeeping. I have six hives right now - hopefully at least some of them will survive the winter. I'm a north-woods country-boy, I doubt I could be happy living in a city. Id like to settle down some day in the hills of south-western Wisconsin where I was born. My hobbies include bicycling, hiking, canoeing, snow-shoeing, role-playing games, card games, jigsaw puzzles, watching anime, drawing, painting, sewing, and cooking. Lately I've been experimenting with candy-making, I haven't got the hang of hard candy yet but my Turkish delight and caramel turned out pretty good. I collect swords and anime merchandise.

The rest of my life is the best of my life. I am eternally grateful for all, the good and the challenges, life has presented to me. I am able to overcome and grow from the hard times. I'd rather have peace in my life than be right. I started the annulment of my marriage in The Catholic Church for those to whom it matters. I'm nice, sometimes too nice and too sensitive of a person along with being loyal, easy going, compassionate, and honest. I am charged with positive energy, and laugh at myself in any situation. I accept and embrace change. Difficulty pushes me to my destination. I am established with close family ties, gainfully employed with a major company, financially secure with no debt and plans for a comfortable retirement, spiritually grounded, emotionally stable with respect for all who touched my life. Sports, especially tennis, sailing, bicycling, kayaking, hiking, walking, skating, skiing, camping, golfing, and motorcycling are what I enjoy. I also enjoy watching sporting events either in the bleachers or on TV. The kitchen is one of my favorite places to because cooking for those close to my heart is one of my passions. I have been volunteering at The Ronald McDonald House since 2011 because it is fulfilling helping others in need. It humbles me and makes me appreciate the gifts God has given me. I am romantic and enjoy making my woman feel special, very, very special, well appreciated, honored, and deeply cherished. I'm looking for a woman who appreciates receiving random acts of kindness. I also enjoy going to church and would like to share it with my special someone. I love animals although I current do not have any, and would like to share them with that special someone. I like to go out and dance once in a while. I am courageous and I stand up for what I believe in and support those close to me. I enjoy simple things like enjoying the beauty as rain falls, yet also appreciate the fine arts, music, literature, and history. I enjoy traveling and visiting my family throughout the country. A few of the places I'd would like to visit are Catalina Island, Route 66, Grand Canyon, and eat lobster in Maine and chocolate in Hershey, PA.

I appreciate my time with my daughters, who are now young adults. I am very proud of what they have achieved. I appreciate our faith. I enjoy watching all sports, going to new and different restaurant venues and seeing musicals, plays and movies. In addition, I like the outdoors, doing simple things with someone special and just being ourselves.

Hi! My name is Greg. I am passionate about travel and like to explore new places. I am always planning my next adventure. I especially love warm weather locations with nice beaches. Another interest of mine is staying active...I go to the gym on a regular basis and participate in runs and mud obstacle courses. And of course, my faith is an important part of my life. I love being Catholic. I enjoy going to Mass and am currently teaching sixth grade religious education. I'm told by friends that I'm a kid at heart-I laugh easily and enjoy simple pleasures. I can be a big goof at times, but am a responsible person and serious when needed. I have a love for heights, which may explain why I love to fly, enjoy roller-coasters, and sometimes dream about being one of the high rise window washers! I love summer the best, and sunny places in general. I enjoy going to the beach, hiking, theatre, movies, and all the festivals that Milwaukee has to offer. I am also very affectionate and have a lot to give in a relationship.
