Please note: I have recently moved to Des Moines area to be closer to family (Clive, Iowa) and welcome the opportunity to get acquainted with people. I am quiet and introspective by nature but love to experience adventure in life as well. Traveling and learning about other cultures is one of my passions. As a nurse practitioner, I am a caregiver at heart and am passionate about helping others. I prefer to be outdoors whenever possible. I enjoy camping, fishing, hiking, biking, and running. I have two grown children who I am endlessly proud of and stay in close contact with. Although my family of origin is geographically distant, we are emotionally close. My faith and spirituality keep me centered in this sometimes chaotic world. I am grateful for my catholic upbringing and truly love learning about the history of the church. I had the good fortune to study for a year in Italy while in college and I long to return someday.

Hello! I am a cradle Catholic who loves the Church more and more every day. I'm looking for a spouse with whom I can share my faith journey--a companion who will walk with me as we move closer to Christ together. My parents have definitely been a true influence in my life. They always showed my brothers and me how God should come first in our lives; attending church every Sunday and holy day of obligation was a given. When we'd go on a family vacation, the first thing my dad would do after opening the motel door would be to pull out the phone book and search for the nearest Catholic church. My parents have also shown me the true meaning of the word "commitment"; they've had many ups and downs during the course of their 47-year marriage, but they've continued to grow closer and more in love with each passing year. Something I'm definitely looking forward to is retirement, simply because I will have more time to serve the church. There are ministries that I'd love to be a part of, but the time just isn't there right now. Retirement would also give me a chance to travel more, which is something I enjoy. In addition to traveling, I also enjoy reading, watching movies, kayaking (although I must admit I end up smacking into trees quite often), zip lining, parasailing, going for walks, spending time with friends, playing with my cats, baking (and sharing the goodies with others), going on retreats, learning more about the faith, and doing cultural things (attending symphonies and plays, visiting museums, etc.). To paraphrase a quote I came across, I want to be the kind of woman that when my feet hit the floor each morning the devil says, "Oh, no--she's up!"

I am a single mom of three very involved teenage (one almost teenage) kids who definitely keep me on the go. Being a positive role model for them, through not only my words, but also my actions, is very important to me. I enjoy volunteering my time coaching and supporting the activities of school organizations that my kids are involved in.

Not sure how to put everything into one paragraph... Currently I'm working full-time & going to school for nursing. I love my job & look forward to the day when I can do more to help people, as a nurse. I grew up in a large Catholic family. I'm the oldest of eight kids, all of whom are homeschooled. I love to run, garden & cook, but even more than cooking, I love to bake! I like the artistic freedom that comes with being able to decorate a cake, or put a new twist on cookies! I also love to sew, although I haven't done much of it as of late. I like having an idea in my head & being able to sketch it out (mentally) & see it become a reality. God & my family are both very important to me. I'm very close with my family. They have helped form my morals & made me the person I am today. I'd be lost without them both! I'm pretty open, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Oh Geez.... I hate this part. I feel like I'm trying to sell myself to attract someone LOL. Where to begin.... First off I believe strongly in my Catholic faith. I have been divorced for three years and have done very little dating. So here I am, I think I'm ready! I have three adult children and four beautiful grandchildren that are my pride & joy. I am pursuing my annulment, and just recieved news that it went through. I'm pretty low keyed, nothing fancy here! Dinner and a movie is great. I'm looking for a good Catholic man, & hoping to find my best friend.

What's my passion? Kids! My own, my grandkids, my foster kids--they keep me alive and grounded, active and tired, and grateful for their many gifts! When I'm not with kids, I love to be outside, gardening, playing golf, or just walking about enjoying creation. I'm a decent seamstress and cook, thanks to my mom!

Hello friends, I'm just your friendly neighborhood bio major/chem minor. I'm currently a senior in college and am planning on going to grad school to study infectious diseases. My dream job would be to work for the CDC and save the world from some crazy virus. I love doing pretty much anything outdoors: sailing, backpacking, camping, you name it. I love music and play piano, ukulele, and a pathetically small amount of guitar. I'm commonly seen with knitting needles or a book sticking out of my purse as I like to keep myself busy and hate not having anything to do. I love Broadway and know all the words to Rent. Random facts about me: I spent this last summer playing with monkeys One of my thumbs is longer than the other I could talk about science for hours I love coffee ice cream with hot fudge on top My favorite show is The Office I'm looking for someone who can make me laugh but can also have a conversation about life, death, and the mysteries of the universe, someone who can go on a crazy adventure but also spend a lazy day at home watching netflix.

My relationship with Jesus is strengthened by serving others so they can see Jesus when they look at me. The privilege of serving is my way of showing others the love of Jesus, and is my way of filling myself with His love as well.
