72, Sterling Heights, MII'm into traditional values. I'm conservative, reflective, intellectual, and need to get to know someone very well before giving my heart away. I can be funny, with a dry, sardonic sense of humor, but I don't care for what many people would call "fun." Instead of hitting the club and concerts scene, I prefer a quiet dinner for two, and deep, intimate conversations about everything and anything that strikes our fancy. I sowed some wild oats in my liberal youth; now, I want to settle down with a traditional-minded soul-mate who appreciates the spiritual, reflective side of life. I'm an honest, reliable, dependable fellow who is loyal-to-the-end with friends, but has little time for shallow, fun-and-games phonies. I often seem overly serious, but I do have a funny bone if you just tickle me the right way. I've had my share of winning and losing, but I'm happy to report that I'm still in good shape in body, mind, and hopefully soul. I've been richly blessed with a good job, comfortable income, converting to the Church late in life. But for all these blessings, I still lack one thing, and that is someone to share it all with! Hope you are out there!
53, Novi, MII am a person that practices Catholicism, or tries to. With it's struggles to remain humble and keep constraint against the hypocrisy of those who claim to and don't realize they are not. Not to pretend to be pious, quite the contrary. That is part of the humility. It is up to you and me to practice this faith and for me not to judge you. I truly believe in that. Have worked hard to create an abundance of graces, career and financial stability. But, I am lonely. Would gratefully welcome a woman of self consciousness and same understanding of the faith and practice of it. Not to say I have it figured out. Someone concerned with the attempt to figure it out would have no preconceptions of being judged and would try not to judge others. Would be concerned about their own spirituality, growth and adherence to it. No Liberals please...
28, Bloomfield Hills, MII like good food, and food in general. I like having a couple drinks on occasion but I am not a big drinker. I enjoy writing and learning. I have a core philosophy that is based on how i observe the natural world. My favorite author is Peter Kreeft, I've loved his work since I was in 7th grade. His writing helped to shape me. I also admire the English journalist GK Chesterton. I believe the natural law leads to God and his holy Roman Catholic church. I am interested in jurisprudence, the philosophy of law. I try to follow the church's social teaching which makes the social scene a little tough at times. My favorite movie is "A Man for all seasons", its also my favorite play...Sir. Thomas More is my favorite saint. I admire how Thomas More did the moral thing without breaking the secular law. I value the rule of law, I think law is very important for any society to survive.
50, Walled Lake, MII believe in being a Proverbs 31 and Ephesians 5 woman (Prov 31:10-12, A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.). I find beauty in both the Novus Ordo and the Traditional Latin Mass. God is my security and strength. The Blessed Virgin and St. Anne are my daily companions, too. My job is in engineering, but my free time is spent on music, walking and playing with my dog and enjoying the simple things in life like looking at the stars and enjoying the peace and quiet of a nice day. I often look about me and marvel at the beauty that God has placed in the world. The flute and classical music is a serious passion of mine and what God has called me to. I perform as Principal Flute in a local orchestra, as a soloist and in various chamber groups, and volunteer for the National Flute Association. Liturgical Music and beautifying the Mass has been one of my primary ways of serving the church since high school. When time permits, cross stitch, needlework, and rubber stamping fill my free time (making gifts is a particular joy). If that makes you think I'm kind of a girly-girl, you would be right! Dresses and skirts are regular parts of my wardrobe, and pink is one of my favorite colors. Literature has been a lifelong love, and classics, F&SF, and religious books populate my overflowing bookshelves. Chesterton is a newer reading pursuit, and it's great to attend when the local ACS meetings fit my schedule. Debate is not my strong suit, but taking part in a great discussion is a true pleasure. I love baking, but there's no one to bake for! Herbs for cooking grow in pots on my patio during the summer (too bad there are no gardens permitted in my condo!). Socializing is important, but at the end of the day quiet time soothes my soul. Most popular entertainment doesn't appeal to me and is not in accord with my beliefs, so the TV is usually "Off" and movies are a rare treat. I prefer to walk and play with my dog, enjoy a good bridge game, or enjoy great conversation.
29, Lapeer, MIFor the time being, I am looking for friends, and if more develops from friendship, then all glory to Our Lord and Lady. The rest of my profile still stands true, as there must be a mutual respect and a sharing of hearts and minds among friends. Here's the deal! I'll tell you the type of manly character for which I am looking, but I'll also tell you about my character in return. I'm an old-fashioned, practicing Catholic girl with a zest for life, a frequent and sincere smile, and an easy-going personality (but that does not mean I'm a push-over). Faith, family and true friends are most important to me. My social life is geared toward family, friends and college events in preparing for my chosen career. Although I am often quiet, I can definitely hold a great conversation. I am an observant, people-oriented person. If it turns out that a young man and I can be true friends (not just acquaintances), we may be onto something special. A real friendship must be the basis of any (possible) courtship. How do I define courtship? Courtship involves 2 people in an exclusive relationship in order to assess shared morals, mutual attraction, love, loyalty, compatibility and complement-ability (ok, I made up that last word!) Exclusivity means "It's just you and me, kid." Should friendship lead to courtship, and courtship lead to love, why would you (or I) need to spend time with someone of the opposite gender? Btw, I come from a close-knit family. Getting to know me includes getting to know my family and spending time with us - something any decent young man will enjoy because my family is a LOT of fun! (Playing "Uno" according to "Our House Rules" is hysterically merciless.) Of course, courtship also includes "public dates" together like walking through town & window-browsing, perhaps attending a summer concert in the park, or maybe a simple but enjoyable afternoon of skating - and btw, if I fall, you get to chivalrously help me up! Then there's bocce, croquet, horse-shoes, bowling, a walk by the lake, a summer or fall bonfire - S'mores are a must! - and the end-of-summer Renaissance Festival.
31, Macomb, MIHi, my name is James. I'm a very easy-going and down-to-earth guy. I am a traditional Catholic attending the Traditional Latin Mass. I have a Bachelor of Accountancy and I am currently studying for the CPA exam. As far as interests, I enjoy all kinds of sports (especially hockey). Music is also a big part of my life. I love to play the piano. I love to be outdoors. I'm into the simple things, like hanging out with friends, watching movies, and spending time with the family. I don't believe chivalry is dead and I am trying my best to be a gentleman. I also hope you like a dry sense of humor and sarcasm. I'm new to the internet dating sites, so I'm not too good at introducing myself online, as you may have noticed. I'm pretty open to any question if you'd like to ask. My faith is very important to me. It is a part of my daily life. I am looking for a good woman to help lead our family to Heaven. I am looking for a woman with more traditional views: one who wants a big family, goes to Mass frequently, and one who loves the Faith. It would be nice to find someone who puts God first (in His rightful place).
62, Dearborn, MIHi, After getting all of that money and finally finding that perfect match, I'm no longer looking for anyone. You should have hung onto me while you could.
35, Warren, MIHI, I am Paul I am interested in meeting a nice Catholic woman who shares my belief in Catholicism and my interests in physical fitness. I particularly enjoy the outdoor activities like fishing and hiking. I am passionate about European travel and recently returned from visiting my cousins there. I am passionate about my family here in Michigan and abroad. I am a new participant on Catholicmatch and am hopeful to meet my future spouse.
25, Marlette, MIAbout me. Well... I like to think I am an interesting person, but don't we all? My hobbies include horseback riding, reading(is that a hobby?), and bike riding. I also enjoy writing books I never finish and drawing when the mod strikes me. I am an adventurous person and would much rather take a walk or go to a new place then go out to a movie or stay home on the couch. I am a friendly, laid back, outgoing person who loves life, nature, and, just being honest here, babies. I work as a Nurses Aide and it's honestly the most rewarding job I have ever had. It was an interesting journey that brought me to this job, but I'll save that for later conversation. I also breed French Bulldogs! Yes, they snore and fart. ;) They have great personalities though, so they are worth the occasional stink. I currently have one of my own and two shared with my sister and business partner, Mary. We are hoping to expand a bit more in the coming months. One think I do want people to know, is that my faith is number one. It comes above all, and if I am to find I life partner, he needs to be on the same page as me. The church is beautiful in all her teachings, not the convenient ones.
19, Wyandotte, MII'm Michael. I currently go to school for accounting, and am writing a Catholic science fiction series as a hobby. I enjoy ice hockey, soccer, some gaming, reading, and (of course) writing. I keep my moral standards high and close to me, which is why I never curse or partake in crude humor. I spent five years at a minor seminary discerning a vocation to the priesthood, and though God told me that this amazing vocation is not my calling, I still loved the formation, and as a result I know Catholic doctrine quite thoroughly...and I can almost speak Latin. I'm very conservative and traditional in my beliefs, much thanks to my amazing and downright holy parents.
27, Grosse Ile Township, MII have been Catholic for a little over 5 years. I am looking for someone who shares the same religious views as I do. Ideally, I would like to find someone to attend mass, confession and receive communion with weekly. I am in the process of adopting my 10 year old niece and potentially my 2 year old nephew. My niece has lived with me since she was 5 years old and we are very close. Although I have not actually ever gave birth, she is basically my child which is why I have listed her as such. Although I just recently bought my house on Grosse Ile, I have lived here for over 10 years. I moved here my junior year in high school and after graduation, rented an apartment for a while. I absolutely love it here and just to be honest, have no intention of moving. So hopefully I can find someone who could potentially share my love of the island. My two most favorite things to do are boating and going out to eat. I love food and I love being on the water. I mostly listen to country music but enjoy other genres as well. Occasionally I'll hit the bar with girlfriends for some drinks and dancing. I usually prefer a night at home, cuddling with my dogs and watching Netflix. I also like having bonfires, weather permitting. I'm pretty laid back and like to relax in my down time. I would like to find someone who enjoys these things as well. Even though I'm not a huge sports fan I think dating someone who is can be fun. I mean, who doesn't like tailgating? I admire a man who hunts/fishes and have a HUGE respect for those who have served our country. I would prefer a handy man. If something breaks, I would rather my man be able to fix it than have to call someone else to do it. These are just a few things that would earn points in my book. I'm not really sure what else to say other than if you're interested after reading my profile and are a respectful gentleman, feel free to reach out!
23, Macomb, MIHello, My name is Genna and I am 23 years old. Some of my favorite things to do is being with family, going to church, and playing with my two year old niece, Olivia Nicole. I am the youngest in a family of five. My family is italian, very humble, and I wouldn't change it for the world! My biggest influence in my life would have to be my best friend, Ashely. She has been there through the bad and the good. Even though she lives out of state, I feel like she is always with me because of how much we communicate. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with the people i love the most, dancing, and watching Netflix. I am currently a student online through Rochester college, pursuing my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. Children are my biggest passion and I absolutely love sharing my love of teaching with them.
