Hello and thank you for viewing my profile. A little about myself... My faith is a very important part of my life. I graduated with my degree in engineering and am currently working, which is keeping me quite busy. In my free time, I enjoy exercising and hanging out with my family and friends. My favorite hobbies include running, volleyball, ice skating and most sports. I am definitely an outdoors person and love being surrounded by nature and enjoying the simplicity of life.

I'm a pretty simple girl, just trying to follow God and His will for my life. My faith is the center of my world. My family is made up of 8 of the best people I know, and they challenge me every day to become a stronger and more faithful person. I became a godmother a few years ago and love spending time with my goddaughter! I definitely love to keep busy. When I'm not working, I enjoy tennis, waterskiing, running, and play competitive volleyball several nights a week. I love being outdoors... Michigan can be pretty amazing in the summer and fall. I'm always up for trying new things or going out with friends, but I also don't mind working hard or spending my free time helping my family or doing charitable work. I've been snowmobiling and parasailing, but I've also spent Easter Sundays at a nursing home in Detroit. One of my favorite quotes is from Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati. He said, "The future is in the hands of God and better than that, it could not be."

I feel that a strong foundation in faith and morals is fundamental to a person's well-being and the success of all relationships. To that end, I attend mass weekly and accept all of the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Having a technical background, I am always interested in gaining a better understanding of how things work in our world. I enjoy working with computers, playing soccer, walleyball, horseback riding & quiet walks in a park. I appreciate the little things in life.

I enjoy people who are comfortable in their own skin, relaxed, goal and idea oriented, healthy, great at I language is a definite plus as are great positive character traits and doesn't take themselves too seriously. A sense of adventure is also a plus. I'm not much for being a couch potato. I enjoy new things, the water, the sun, adventure and travel. I love new ideas, classic cars, personable people, permaculture, the Dominican Republic, boating, swimming, dining in or out, and a healthy lifestyle. An adventurous spirit is me, I enjoy travel, hiking, fishing, boating, music & theater events and those who have a sense of adventure about themselves too. I also enjoy a quiet evening at home, a good book, a shared meal and good conversation. I'm someone who likes to learn and try new things as well as finding comfort in what is stable and predictable.

Hi there, I am well settled career wise, and am looking forward to starting the marriage chapter of my life. I enjoy running, movies, attending concerts, art related activities and symposiums. and most of all, interacting with my folks. I go to church every Sunday and if possible more than just Sunday. I am well travelled, and hope to continue to travel with my future spouse (assuming it is something she would enjoy). I may go against the grain here a bit but I tend to be a bit left leaning on issues such as climate change and corporate/wealth tax reform
  • John, 26 from Utica, MI
    26, Utica, MI
I'm a born and raised Catholic with two brothers and have lived in Michigan my whole life. I've been a Chef since I was 15 and have always enjoyed cooking and caring for my family and those I care about. I moved from my home town at a young age and as I entered high school lost passion for the Church. However after my Grandfather passed I felt a strong need to reconnect with the Church and my faith was strengthened greatly. My daily focus is to do the will of God through prayer and my everyday actions, particularly in attending Mass every Sunday, and when possible on weekdays. I love other languages and cultures, and am especially fond of history, something my Dad gave me a passion for. I like to read quite a bit and also like doing yard work, working out, writing, playing guitar, and am a huge fan of Anime. I also practice two Martial Arts, RyuKyu Kempo and Wing Chun.

I'm a not-so-mild man who likes good, clean fun. Authenticity is one of the most important things in a relationship, and I think it should be that way from the start. Why wear a mask? Who we really are will show eventually. Call me the social dragonfly. I'm looking for something real - I take relationships very seriously. I am a healthy mix of mature and playful. I may appear rocky on the outside, but I care more than any words can convey. My faith, family and friends are my greatest priorities (in that order). TV wise, I mostly watch cops shows. I prefer mostly RPG video games.
  • William, 29 from Rochester Hills, MI

I am currently working full-time and going to law school full-time. (Law school is the worst by the way, don't go, get your PhD in something you love.) I am not really sure I have time to date, but every now and then I see a young couple, clearly in love, perhaps pushing a stroller and I turn to my reflection in the window and say "why no for me?" in ASL to the ape-man staring back at me. I love dogs, friends, and family, and feel those distinctions are arbitrary. I take life seriously (I swear) but you would not know it from the way I like to constantly joke around. As I bumble through life I learn more and more what is important to me in my potential significant other. I want to meet someone with firmly-held moral beliefs, a love of laughter, and a desire to improve themselves. I don't pretend to be a paragon of virtue, but I do my best to exhibit these qualities. I don't find a lot of time for it these days, but I enjoy drawing, painting, and writing fiction. I have never been a big sports fan. At heart, I am really a giant nerd, and by that I mean I think history is endlessly fascinating. I enjoy long phone conversations with friends, sleeping in on the weekends, and laughing at myself when I do something stupid. -----------------------------------SPOILERS--------------------------- I have five best friends I see or talk to one weekend a month. We have all been good friends for a long time (my most recent friendship is over a decade old, others over two decades.) That being said, I've never really considered "meeting new people" exciting.
